Totally dissatisfied

Totally dissatisfied! Took a whole month-- back and forth always asking me to provide something else--after 5 weeks then they said well your insurance is not contracted with us. Such a waste of my time-should have known from the beginning when they couldn't tell me about the insurance. My poor grandmother with dementia-- guess we will go back to the monthly pill dividers--PILLPACK- get your stuff straight and stop leading people on.

Please listen to the 80% (plus) of people who…

Please listen to the 80% (plus) of people who are warning you not to do this. This isn't a flat screen TV you're considering. It's a pharmacy. This is about your health. I started with PillPack because they deliver a medication that my regular pharmacy could not deliver because of company policies. At first it was great. A few hiccups here and there but nothing major. Then like clockwork, every month they would have issues contacting my doctor for prescriptions. I would get a text every month directing me to contact my doctor FOR them in order to get prescriptions filled. My doctor assures me that his office sent my prescriptions to PillPack on time every time. I even sat on the phone with my doctor as he sent in my prescription one time. PillPack assured me that he did not, which was absurd.

Anyway, I just had to cancel my account because they sent me a shipment that was missing 4 medications. No warning this time. No nothing. These people should absolutely not be running a pharmacy and you should absolutely not trust them with your medications or your health.

You ask for packs and they send you…

You ask for packs and they send you bottles, you're told they cannot cut a pill and then it arrives cut, if they have a question about your current insurance they won't let you know - they'll just not send the shipment, there were two separate times the incident was enough that the rep. said she was creating at "ticket" for it to be investigated further, but no one ever reached out to me to say sorry we messed up so badly. What you request and what you get sometimes match and sometimes not - it's like a surprise all the time. They are always nice, always polite, but what good is that when they cannot effectively offer the primary service the provide.

The concept is good - but reality is NOT!

The concept is good, but the delivery just doesn't work. If your prescriptions never change, this is a good service. But getting updates on dosage or different medications into the pill pack is not easy. There are so many levels to even talk to someone at Pill Pack when there is an issue as well. I like having everything easy to distribute, but dealing with Pill Pack can be frustrating, even when the customer service reps are nice.

I signed up for pillpack through…

I signed up for pillpack through Amazon, their parent company. B4 I transferred my prescriptions, Amazon Pharmacy asked me for my insurance number and name. It took quite a few days for the transfer once I approved it, believing Amazon Pharmacy would apply my costs to my insurance. Long story short, my antipsychotic med was not in my system for over a week's time. I hardly slept at all and got violent with my friend.

Inconsistent and issues

Inconsistent service, pricing, communication. Always an issue with price, quantity and schedule. This specific brand Rx seems to be only available through Amazon and their Arizona distributing pharmacy. Odd. In the past Vons, Wallgreens, Albertsons, GoodRx, etc all had inventory and better prices. Suddenly none have it or can order.

Terrible service

Terrible service. Their customer service people are great at apologizing but don't do anything. Once they have a hold of your credit card, they will keep charging you - their customer service manager told me that they don't answer to Amazon. Worst experience ever.

Apologies don’t make pills magically appear

Pill Pack has a system that works great, but only for them. They hire very nice people who say, “I apologize” over and over again, and promise to do something that doesn’t get done. Now I am out of one of the pills for my very elderly mother.

Only use them if you have no other alternative!

I have spent at LEAST 30-40 hours trying to get my Mom and Dad's PillPacks set up. And they are NOT set up correctly yet. The people are very nice and try to be helpful -- but mistake after mistake happens, what you see on the patient dashboard does not reflect reality, and their process is HIGHLY inefficient. AVOID using them if you can!

Lies, Lies, and more Lies! Pill Pack CANNOT be trusted!!!!

It's amazing just how bad Pill Pack is. From their pharmacy, to their customer service ... I haven't had a single good interaction with them.

TLDR:
Pill Pack customer service will just quit chatting with you if you call them out on their obvious lies!!!

Pill Pack literally doesn't care if they get my moms medications right, and couldn't care less if she were to die. Luckily, I caught their mistakes with my moms pills, but I'm still left having to clean up the mess now.

One star is entirely too generous for Pill Pack.
Pill Pack is AWFUL ... NEVER USE THIS "SERVICE"!

Here's the story:
First, Pill Pack sent my moms pills in three different packs (for three different times) per day, for some unknown reason. So I had to call my mom every single day, and tell her to take them all at the same time.

Then, my moms doctor changed prescriptions, and let the Pill Pack pharmacy know ... but somehow Pill Pack (despite having written instructions) still got the pills wrong. When I called them to resolve it, I was promised they had fixed the issue. But when I called back the next day, the problem was still not fixed. I talked to 6 different Pill Pack employees (over the course of 2 weeks, to make sure things were correct before they shipped it), and all six employees promised me my issues were fixed.

Well, when I got the notification about what was shipped, guess what ... (shock) ... it was still wrong. Not only was it wrong, but they messed it up so bad that they duplicated one of my moms pills (by sending it by itself in a separate shipment), and sent one of her vitamins in a third separate shipment! If I hadn't noticed, my mom would have OD'd!!

There's no way this many people are that incompetent. I get the impression that Pill Pack maliciously messes up peoples pills (especially people like me who have the nerve to tell them they have things wrong).

So, today, when I was chatting with "Curtis", he assured me my pill shipment was correct (that "all six pills" had been shipped. Only one problem with that statement ... we should have SEVEN pills. Curtis even pulled up a previous chat as "proof that I had signed off on it". So, I told him to read the rest of the previous chat, where I (again) was told lies, and I (again) caught them in their lies.

In essence, Curtis confirmed Pill Packs lies (including his own), and when I explained that he had just proven MY point and that he was adding his own lies, he simply quit the chat.

Just like that, Curtis just walked away from all the problems he and Pill Pack created.

Pillpack does not care if your prescription seems incorrect

Pillpack will only notify you of the change in cost of your medicine via a single email to the email address you provided when you signed up. So, if for whatever reason you overlooked a single email, or it went to spam folder, Pillpack will ship that medicine at the new cost without any effort to double check. Yes, it was my insurance company which increased the cost of my medicine by more than 500%. But Pillpack did not give adequate warning at all nor even bothered to try. Before using Pillpack, I used a local pharmacist who would have alerted me of any change and did in the past. I changed how I want my medicine because of the pandemic and ended up paying close to $500 more than I should have.

Neg stars should be allowed

Neg stars should be allowed. Shipments never show up on time often weeks and some are months apart. My doc sent in new scripts from my 6 month check up in Dec 2020. As of july 2021 I haven't received a shipment. They say its a clerical error. Transferring is a huge hassle and they dont really want to do it as they are losing a customer. Try another mail order pharmacy. Even the pharmacist didnt know about a med that i asked about.

Great Service, no problems

I have been using PillPack for several years, without a problem. I have always gotten my pills for the next month in time (although 1 time I received it only 2 days in advance). I just had a problem where my Doc didn't respond in time. I clicked on Chat, and in 5 minutes the CSR got me the pills as an interim til next month. I did have to wait 2 days. If I was to contact CVS I would spend at least 1/2 hr waiting to speak to someone. Then I would have to drive 15 miles, and stand on line for who knows how long.

at first I really liked them

at first I really liked them. the pills come bundled together in a little daily package. however they sent me boxes and boxes of needles (insulin) I asked them to only send needles when I request them. all was good for about 6 months then boom more needles. and they ship then bill with a no return policy (as per the pillpack tec). now I have so many needles I don't know if I will ever use them all before I die. to make it worse the tec kept trying to blame me then the doctor....and yes I canceled.

Pillpack is a MEDICAL ERROR in waiting

Pillpack is a MEDICAL ERROR in waiting! The incompetence and ignorance regarding medications are ALARMING! The customer staff can't even pronounce the drugs in their inventory. They excel in saying "I'm sorry" in an effort to de-escalate and camouflage their stupidity! The lack of documentation is mindboggling! Amazon's acquisition of Pillpack is the biggest blackeye possible
Run don't walk from any of their claims

I wanted to love this but they keep putting my 90 year old grandma's life at risk.

Hi Signed up for this service because my grandma is on 9 medications and at 90 all the little tablets get bungled and her health was struggling.

Despite the HOURS and HOURS on the phone with nice customer service representatives (they really are nice), it took for ever to get this set up.

Once it was set up, YAY first shipment she says how much she likes it and when I go visit two medications are missing from the Paks including blood pressure medication. No notice, no call.

I have never not trusted a pharmacy. I feel trapped by needing this type of service and the huge disappointment of Amazon's bungling of it.

Nothing has gone right

Nothing has gone right: agree 100%. I was on the phone for hours and hours trying to get one of my medications delivered. I made the mistake of putting shipment on pause because I had so many pills from last year. When I tried to start shipment again, each person I spoke to on the phone had different information. One kept insisting that my previous doctor was still my doctor and kept trying to contact, different folks sent me OKs for a one-month supply when. I requested a 3-month supply over and over again. They said that they tried to contact my doctor, and they did not, although I gave them information over and over again. It seemed as if no one program reflected my calls and concerns---every person had different information. I just received my shipment and YES, it was for three months and it was correct. I am now trying to ditch Pillpack.
