Order never arrived, no response to emails

Horrible customer support and charging for cancelling a order is ridiculous!!!!

Utter scammers, they tried to add $35 to the quoted shipping, and then when I opted to cancel instead of paying the absolutely absurd additional fee, they only sent part of the money back.

I got my hopes up, because I was hopeful for a true linux experience on ARM processors. I have used, and now sold, a pinebook, pinebook pro, and a pinetab2. All three have been a nightmare. I have used linux as a daily driver for about 7 years now, and know how to use the CLI. BUT you really need to be a programmer to handle these products. I expected a challenge, but over the last few years trying out these products, I am left defeated and discouraged.

Ordered a solder iron, never received the product, customer support always replied without reading my mails - didn't get a refund. Seems like scammers.

I have ordered 2 pinecil in 2 different occasions, the product is good, but i had some problems with shipping, both packages got stuck at customs and i had to pay fees.
The big problem was that i had no tracking and i contacted customer service after 2/3 weeks to get information about shipping and i never got answer

I bought a Pinebook Pro from pine64eu shop. Was delivered quickly. The laptop broke at the hinges and is brittle overall. The charging adapter broke after a few weeks. Emails to support for warranty will be ignored. The significantly higher prices are justified by EU warranty laws. But you don't get any warranty services. So be careful, here they only want to sell, higher prices not justified.

Package never arrived. I contacted several times the company and they refuses to send a replacement o refund my money. Worst customer support ever seen.

- Product never arrived.
- Customer service took a long time to respond to emails and only did so when I kept writing to them.
- Customer service kept asking for my address repeatedly although I had given it multiple times. It seems they don't care enough to even read the email conversation they are having.
- They blamed me arguing that I wrote my address incorrectly, although it was correclty written and even lectured me on how to write addresses in Germany, although I've been living here for 5 years and have received dozens of packages successfully.
- I did receive a full refund though after being threatened that they will not give me a refund again if I fail to write my address properly next time...

I ordered a Pinecil v2 to Europe and had to pay extra import tax that was even more than the value of the soldering iron. I assumed their price was including VAT, they should be more transparent about this.
I've now discovered that they have an EU store as well, but the Pinecil costs 65 EUR there instead of 24 EUR on their global store. If I knew it was that costly, I would've ordered locally, where I can get it for 43 EUR. I was trying to save money, not pay even more...

Everything was okay until my Pinecil soldering tip broke and I tried to contact the warranty. I asked the support how to open a warranty claim and they responded fast, but when I tried to claim the warranty I was completely ignored and haven't gotten a response in over a month! I tried to contact them again but still no answer!
P.S I used the EU site for the purchase.

My wife purchased this devices for me it arrived DOA and they claim that plugging it into a laptop or usb c 5v 2 amp charger voids its warranty. Steer clear of this company and its products. They are frauds.

A $100 purchase was made for pinecil soldering iron and equipment. The package never arrived even though tracking info was provided. Pinecil was not responsive to email inquiries and was only partially responsive to a PayPal case against them.

Regardless of whose fault this was the poor responsiveness of the company to email requests is unacceptable and disappointing. We used to buy pinecil to all employees of our company but they lost a customer.

a) They deny responsibility when something goes wrong during shipping or when the product is defect.

b) The Pinebook Pro, is a silly product which doesn't even boot up half of the time for no apparent reason. c) The screen/display is Very fragile so it cracks/breaks quickly, even when putting it closed in a laptop bag to take it anywhere. Slight pressure is all it takes to break it, because the alu lid is too thin / flexible.

The RockPro system is not(yet) fit for products !!

I purchased a 128Mb Ox64 SBC for delivery. I paid for product, and shipping. I gave full address in Portugal and I included my phone number. The item was caught up in customs with insufficient documentation. I was asked to provide documents regarding a commercial transaction that I do not have. Pine support gave me no help.

I have purchased many items from AliExpress and I have never had any problems.

Never purchase from this realtor. They are a SCAM. I have told them this to their support and THEY DO NOT CARE.

This Pine64 organization starts pre-orders for Pine Tab 2 on April 13, which I submit, for delivery in mid-May, yet I never get an update, and I never receive my order. Why not just go into an industry where you can actually produce what you promise? SBC has become quite the rage, the RK3588 chip advertised for more than 6 months, but even this older chip is not in production, even after I pay my money 6 weeks ago. Total scam. I expect to lose my money and never receive anything. I still have yet to receive any tracking number.

Don’t buy there. I did put my complete address, and PayPal lost one address line. The package couldn’t be delivered.
At the end, over 30 $ where claimed from pine64 from my payment! This is a big scam!!! Pine64 had my full address and they didn’t check the lable on the package. I have to pay for their mistake.

And: no customer support.

Do not buy anything till you find out what the taxes and duties are..total cost of items around $50.00..$30.00 for FedEx delivery.total taxes $20.00. Shop else where.

the battery is terrible, it is slow, the OS died without a reason, the softwares available for these things are really bad. I honestly wanted to contribute to the project, But now I feel I wasted my money. Yes, I tried 4 different OS... all of them bad

They put out hardware but then abandon it without making sure that it has even the basic functionalities enabled.
