Dreadful condition

Dreadful condition. They have let the course go whilst hiking the prices. Don't bother and go somewhere else. Very poor.

Driving range is possibly the worst…

Driving range is possibly the worst I’ve ever been to. Only driving range I’ve ever been to that you have to book because they constantly run out of ball so they say they’re fully booked and half of the bays were empty it’s an absolute joke. IF YOURE FULLY BOOKED ALL THE TIME BUY MORE BALLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!. I will be avoiding

A golf manager that doesn’t give a dam

I run a small golf society and have played at Pineridge every year for over 30 years
We turned up to play on Saturday fully expecting the course to be closed due to high winds and heavy rain
But no all fully open
The course was so wet the tee boxes the fairways and very dangerous a tree down on the 16 and one fell as we were on the 14 which we had to run out of the way quickly
Today I contacted the manager of the course and he couldn’t give a dam,I told him that he has a duty of care to the players on the course and that with trees falling and debris flying there was a possibility of a danger to life and his very words were well if an incident occurred he would have to deal with it
Bottom line he had a number of society’s playing on that day all of which has to pay a week in advance so couldn’t cancel without loosing all the money so we have to play but if the course was closed then he would have to offer alternative dates to play
He was contacted by course officials but didn’t respond
It appears all he cares about it the money and does not care about the players or his course marshals having to deal with the fall out
I can’t complain about the staff on the day they were great but the managers attitude is atrocious
One thing to note a week or so ago the course was closed due to waterlogged fairways and two trees down but that was a Wednesday funny that !!!!!!

If you want to have your clubs stolen and the Club take zero responsibility, this is the place for you!

I played a round here on Friday the 29th of December. Finished the round, left my clubs and trolley outside the clubhouse, went in for a drink and snack and when i can out (35mins later) everything was gone. I immediately reported to the staff who initially told me to leave my name and details and someone would get in touch. eventually after a bit of back and forth one of the kitchen staff managed to get in touch with the manager about looking at the CCTV and i was told it would be provided to the police but i could not see it myself. After a few days of chasing both the club and the police i was finally told 3 days later that the thieves had walked off with the clubs and in which direction they went...too little too late. Based on everything which was taken I lost about £2000 in equipment and barely an apology from the club. The CCTV also turned out to be useless to the Police who then closed the case after reviewing the footage. There is a serious risk of theft here as the CCTV does not pick up the areas in which clubs are left and also does not have coverage of the parking lot.

In addition i played as a 2 ball with a friend paying £38 for the round. at checkin we were paired with another 2 ball who were scheduled to tee off 30 mins later who told us that they had only payed £20 becuase it was a later slot. we then endured one of the longest 9 holes of Golf I have ever experiened over approx 3hours of slow play from the 4 balls in front of us, which seemed to also be mixed groups of 2 balls which were paired together. My friend wrote to them to complain we had each paid an extra £18 versus the 2 ball we were paired with but nothing was done.

All in all, a very expensive and horrible round and i will not return.

Terrible Customer Experience

Very poor customer service. Having caught CoVid, I tried cancelling my tee time 48 hours in advance. However, I was rudely refused a repayment, despite the gentlemen in the pro shop saying he would offer the tee time to someone else who will undoubtedly also be charged to play the same tee time. This is absolutely disgraceful to take advantage of paying customers in such a manner and not even have the decency to offer a partial refund. Personally, I would save your money to play a much better golf course where you will receive a warmer welcome and better quality of golf course.
