Pdx 500's, terrible.

Bought a set of pdx 500's. Description states they're great for scratching. They're not. Roughly a 1 second delay before the pater picks up to the set speed. Terrible for direct drives. Ones boxed unopened, others had not even 2 minutes use. Trying to return them for a refund but doubt they will.

Purchased from new a controller…

Purchased from new a controller DDJ-FLX4 worked for 1 week and stopped with lights flashing. Went through support process contacting 5/6 times with only simple solutions offered to problem. Also contacted via what’s app with no solution being offered. Very poor customer support I feel this product has been rushed out for Christmas without sufficient testing being done. I have seen this comment re issue on the forums with over people not getting a resolution. I would not recommend anyone buying a product from pioneer.

Support not good enough and no follow up

I love your products but your support is not good enough.
I send the first support ticket beginning of March 2022 and the case is still ongoing without any solution from Pioneer’s side. And maybe it is not an easy support task but the communication from Pioneers side fades out after 2-3 emails back and forth. When I then raise a new ticket on the same problem I receive an email from the same supporter from UK and then the same process begins: 2-3 emails back and forth and then the dialogue dies out.
As said the first ticket was raised beginning of March.
This is just not good enough. Very unprofessional.

Avoid headphones range!

Used to love company great cdj and mixers indeed.
But HDJ headphones gone crazy low quality...
Bought 2 pairs of hdj x5bt.
Creaks from begining of not well plastic fitment(so can't be used for day use), and get broken after a week.
2 pair already cracked soon will fell apart and both of them were barely used!
I got 8 pairs of hdj from previous generation all of them hold for years some for 5 years.

Avoid they headphones!

Good equipment

Good equipment, fine software (RB). Used production capacity way to low. In The Netherlands we sometimes wait even 26 weeks for a shipment, and even then the delivered amount is way to low. Especially for equipment of a price that's above average/other company's.

CDJ3000 Missing Items From Unit

I received a new PioneerDJ unit from a UK retailer with a significant issue and shortcoming (missing items). I am really surprised.

I have no issues with the retailer yet - who referred it to the distributor / manufacturer - PioneerDJ.

The initial response from AlphaTheta EMEA (PioneerDJ) was poor and I have replied today asking for a replacement.

The retailer is not at fault - they raised the issue with AlphaTheta EMEA Limited (Pioneer DJ).

Pioneer DJ Regional Sales Manager - UK & Ireland / Eastern Europe & Russia is stating that warranty is provided and shows no interest in the other issues. I will press for a replacement and for Pioneer DJ to consider why they consider their customer service approach is reasonable.

I have informed Trading Standards UK.

Pioneer have now arranged replacement of the CDJ3000 via their distributor. So that was a bump in the road and I am disappointed - but Pioneer have resolved this now - so thanks team.

Pioneer DDJ - truely a dilemma

Pioneer DDJ I have to admit that I love your products - all your hardware - Rekordbox - DMX1, and I could go on. And I have bought a lot of your stuff.
But my last experience with one of your products was somehow depressing. My 3 year old DDJ-RZX bought for a price of 23.010DKK (3.094€) just broke down and have to get a new main board.
Since the guarantee has expired, I asked the company that is repairing it, if we somehow could ask for a discount from Pioneer, since the controller is only 3 years old. The reply from the mechanics was that this is something Pioneer never does, so it would be a waste of time.
When you, as a private person, buy a controller for more than 3.000€ you expect that you buy state of the art quality. And since the controller has been in my house since I bought it, and nothing from the "outcome" (transport etc.) has been the reason for this breakdown, in my world it would be natural that the manufacturer would take some responsibility for this kind of damage. But no.
So now I have to pay another 5.500 DKK (740€), and this annoys me. I keep thinking that I should have claimed the guarantee 1 year ago, when the controller began to behave strange. But too late now.

So Pioneer - thanks for some fantastic products - I love it all, but please keep in mind, that you have to deliver a very high quality to your customers, otherwise we will not continue to stay as loyal customers.

Kind Regards
Michael Winkelmann

Not impressed with the quality!

Not impressed with the quality!! I bought 2 CDJ2000NXS2 players last month (October 2020) and after 5 weeks the blue LED for Vinyl mode failed on the one player which is on it's way now to Pioneer DJ service centre...and now while using the remaining one the Vinyl mode Led has failed on this one too!!!! How can £2000 players both have a fault like this after 5 weeks!!! Fuming! I'm loyal to Pioneer but I can see why people are abandoning the brand in there droves!!! I would appreciate some feedback from Pioneer DJ!!

The quality of your products has been…

The quality of your products has been constantly going down in the last years, rekordbox is unstable as hell or you need a super computer just to run it properly.

Besides all of this, you are charging your customers more and more money for any little thing you can come up with.

Thanks, but no thanks!

Denon DJ here I come.

Worst company ever!!!

Worst company ever!!!

Support takes ages to answer, subscription to use some very basic functions and not to mention that rekordbox 6 is full of issues and literally eating up your CPU.

The list could go on, but I honestly don't want to waste too much time giving you any feedback.

All you want is more money, more money, more money...GREEDY and ARROGANT as many people from the industry describe you!!!

Well...at least I made the smart choice and moved my money to Denon DJ. At least they do not expect you to pay thousands of pounds for the flagship and then you still need to pay for a subscription???!!! What a JOKE of a company.

I mentioned a while ago on your page that you should have a review section, so you can actually see what your customers think about your company...Well this is even better...

I will share this link around now and see how many people feel the same way...Maybe you have your very loyal customers that would pay for anything, but not me, no no. Thank you, bye bye

A way full of memories

This is a message to the whole Pioneer brand.
Your the best, good services, perfect Dj setups.
After my whole cdj 900 & djm 900 NXS set was stolen at an age of 20:(
I buyed over a lot of time the cdj 2000's (old ones) and the new DJM-750 MK2 because quality comes with a price. And to give me almost the same feeling as my set before.
Thanks for being there. Now gonna spare some money.. :-) :-)

Stunningly poor quality & customer service. Avoid at all costs

After doing extensive research, I decided to purchase a DJ-200 controller to start a hobby of DJing. Pioneer is a well-known name and a leader in the DJing world.

My next decision was where to purchase. I chose to purchase this from Pioneer DJ, Inc. directly, rather than through a 3rd party (Amazon, local dealer, etc) to avoid hassles and potential problems. They even offered free shipping, so I thought this was an easy decision.

After waiting a few days, I met the FedEx driver at the door and excitedly opened the box. My first concern was that the tape sealing up the box said "Repack."

I took the controller out of the unsealed packaging, but couldn't figure out how to start using it, because it was missing all booklets, cords, etc. On the side of the box, it clearly said it included a 1.5m USB cable and 0.5m Split cable.

I opened the email order confirmation from Pioneer DJ and clicked on the Customer Support link, which took me to a broken website with a "404 - Not Found" error.

I called the phone number listed and explained my issue. The representative said I needed to call the parts department. After called that different phone number, they indicated that I would have to pay for the missing parts and suggested I call Customer Support back. When I called back, a different representative said she had never heard of this problem and didn't know what to do. She documented it and said someone would contact me within 24-48 hours. Within a couple hours, I received an email from sales support saying my request had been marked as solved: "I see that your order shipped with FedEx tracking. Tracking shows that it was delivered to you today." I replied to the email to try to reopen the case, but never heard back.

I called a third time and the support agent was the first to actually sound genuinely apologetic and concerned about the problem, but was unable to transfer me to a supervisor and only able to document the problem and assure me I would hear back within 24-48 hours.

As indicated on the shipping manifest, I emailed logistics with this issue. They offered me a return label so I can send it back and receive a refund after they receive it and verify the contents of the package.

In the end, I do not have the product I ordered and paid full price for from Pioneer DJ. I am expected to wait up to a week or more before they receive the return and process my refund. There were no efforts to try to get the correct product to me or even offer anything other than an apology to assuage my frustrations with Pioneer DJ.

Sales 101: take responsibility for your mistake, apologize, and make it right. In this case, pass me onto another representative, offer a refund, and force me to wait and find another company to do business with. I have no faith in PioneerDJ and am shocked by the lack of concern and care that this was handled.

Buyer beware: there seems to be a stunning lack of care and consideration for quality and customer service. Do not purchase your product directly from PioneerDJ, but via an authorized dealer.
