Disappointing experience. Despite multiple requests to schedule calls, the recruiter contacted me at random times, including via personal channels like WhatsApp without consent, and far outside of work hours. Interview arrangements were poorly handled, with the recruiter forgetting to follow up or giving less than half a day's notice for an onsite interviews. I have also been receiving spam CRM emails, even though I submitted a GDPR request to delete my data over a month ago.

I've had the pleasure of working with Justin and at the team at Pivotal as both a hiring manager and as a candidate over multiple years. In both instances I've been consistently impressed with the level of service Justin and more recently James have provided. The team at pivotal take the time to really understand what you need in form of your ideal candidate as a hiring manager, and what you're looking for in your next role as a candidate. When I next need a recruiter to help me fill a role, Justin will be at the top of my (very) short list.

Fantastic communication, landed me my first job in the industry

I’ve had loads of recruiters bugging me in the past, and I knew they were pretty much all the same, offering weird roles, rushing you into decisions, pretending they cared...

Stephanie and Bradley changed this for me, they’ve been amazing from day 1, working with me to find the perfect role and providing good help/feedback at every stage of the process, and proving that they actually cared where I’d land, giving me enough time to receive all the offers and having time to think before taking a decision.

At the end I’ve chosen to work where I wanted from the time I first started thinking about moving to another job. It wouldn’t be possible without Steph and Bradley, so I can’t thank them enough!

I've had many recruiters in the past. But I would definitely say that Lois has been my favourite recruiter without a doubt!! Initially, had a great hour and half chat with her about my work interests, past experience and what sort of opportunities she could try and bring. Lois was super empathetic, always available and supportive, easy to talk to and always gathered insightful feedback throughout every step of the way.

Liam was amazing. I had such a fantastic experience with Pivotal and Liam specifically. He introduced me to different roles straight away and really listened to what I wanted in a new company/role.
He got me my first interview with a company that ticked all my boxes within a day. Liam then went on holiday but that didn’t stop him from calling me and giving me updates on how the process was going. I would text Liam questions and he responded as if he was in the office - when you’re keenly waiting from a response/ feedback after an interview this is exactly the support you could want and Liam delivered.

Liam was so helpful with the tips that he gave me and he called me after each interview to find out how it went.

Justin called up after I saw a role online and applied. Instantly he managed to get me in front of the company and an offer within a week.

He was extremely detailed in what questions were going to be asked and provided all information I needed to know about the company and the people I would be meeting.

When the offer came through Justin came back after negotiating a higher salary than their top price and an offer that could not be refused.

Ive since recommended anyone I know looking for a new role.

As a contractor I work with quite a few recruiters and I must say I have seen a lot, the good the bad and the terrible. It was a pleasure working with Pivotal when I was recently looking for my last contract and the best things about were the speed; it happened really quickly but most importantly, the communication! That's all I ask for, good communication to know what's going on so I'm kept in the loop and Pivotal really were great with that.
