Looked interesting, but a rip-off out of the gate.

This software looks interesting. I subscribed to the starter plan ($10/month), and received my receipt. Uploaded one simple prompt, got back an image that did not conform to the prompt in a very basic way. (it happens)

I requested a change via a correction prompt. I was then presented with a popup window to subscribe to the service - the one to which I had just subscribed, and received my receipt, and to which it shows that I am logged in - and also shows available credits in the sidebar.

No thank you. No one has time for any company that can't even handle a simple onboard.

This software is a total scam it’s expensive and when you buy a subscription within the first image you use of all your credits for the month making the user purchase additional credits. This software is design to bleed money out of the user. It changes the image and color. It is not user friendly. Do not trust the overall review rating read the actual reviews in the App Store. I get better results from using Google AI, which is free on the Internet.

DO NOT USE THIS APP!!

DO NOT USE THIS APP!!! You are charged for every alteration of an image. If the image didn't follow directions, you are charged anyways. You are charged per "generation", not per download. If it takes 6 different prompts for this poorly designed AI to FINALLY give the results you wanted, you will be charged 6 times. On occasion, instead of creating 1 image (as requested) it will choose (on it's own) to create 4 different images and charge you for all 4, even if all 4 are unusable. Once my credits are used, I will be deleting this app.

Overcharging credits, resulting in customers paying loads of money

I have noticed inconsistent charges for the same type of image generation. For example, I was recently charged 36 credits for a showcase image generation, and five minutes later, using the same showcase, I was charged 12 credits, which aligns with your stated pricing. Clearly, the first charge was incorrect.

This is not the first time I have experienced such issues. Previously, I have been erroneously charged 240 credits for a video, 640 credits for a video, and 48 credits for a single image generation. Now, I have been charged 36 credits instead of 12 for the same showcase image generation 42 times within a single hour, which is completely unacceptable

Due to all of this I have spent over $250 this month buying credits on top of my yearly subscription of $89 which I have already paid, to finish a project I’m working on. On top of that just found out if you’re using an iPhone you can’t select which image generator you want to use. This means that it will be selected for you automatically, which means that you may be charged the highest amount of credits for a generator. This is such bad business. I wish somebody would start a class action suit because I’m sure I’m not the only one that’s experiencing this. Overcharging your customers credit so that they can keep buying more so they can rob you of your money deceptive practices.

I’ve sent loads of emails to customer service and they either don’t respond or you have to wait weeks to receive an and they either don’t respond or you have to wait weeks to receive a reply and even then they are no help.

Total ripoff !!

Total ripoff!! They don't even have a real trial, because a trial would reveal that this isn't a real ai program.
It's basically a control panel that uses all the popular ai model available by legitimate businesses and they make money from you not realizing that going directly to the ai model that they are piggybacking off of you can get more done for less money.
And on top of that scam, They have Customer NO Service, they have an unreliable system that takes your credits for attempts made whether you get anything produced from it or not. I found out the hard way... Most of the time not. 6 attempts at a 8 second video produced a box, and no video. I'm using a high end computer for producing commercial video advertising and image editing. And over 30 years experience in that field. With problems every day, you're going to need a customer support team that can help, and these people do not return the messages!
Pixelcut burned up a $30 month purchase of 3600 credits plus included a 600 bonus credit offer for signing up on a very short ONE ai image trial. I fell for it.
It's $30 one time, but I see some of these other reviews say that they had problems with cutting off the flow of money to these thieves after stopping a subscription. I noticed that my one time purchase is reffered to as 'a subscription' on my account details when I cancelled. The choice when I signed up was "by the month, and make a purchase each month, or "by the year" and billed monthly automatically. By the month is NOT a subscription, beware of their sneaky tactics!!

Garbage

Garbage
Their AI doesn't do as you ask and half the time it doesn't produce ANYTHING but still charges you credits - for N.O.T.H.I.N.G, and of course they don't give a care.
Avoid like the plague - use Runway.ai - way better

Pixelcut in it's original form was…

Pixelcut in it's original form was highly intuitive and easy to use. Now you have to click all over the place just to execute simple tasks and edits. It's like they literally wrote down all the bullet points of what would make the best UX, and just did the opposite. I highly suspect that this is by design, so that the user ends up just burning up credits. Then users have the privilege of buying more credits so that they can generate more images that look like garbage. Rinse and repeat. Revenue streams mean nothing if customers quit using your app, geniuses. I'm not even sure they let you do bulk upscaling anymore. I could be wrong, but I wouldn't be surprised if you can't.

Misleading Subscription Terms and Severe Video Limitations - Very Disappointing one star due to…

I’m giving Pixelcut.ai one star due to its misleading marketing and restrictive video generation capabilities, which wasted my time and money. I purchased a monthly subscription expecting to create a 1-minute documentary-style video with English voiceover and Portuguese subtitles, as advertised features suggested robust video creation (e.g., 4K support). However, after inputting my prompt with 568 credits available, Pixelcut rejected it, stating I needed more credits. Their response clarified that videos are limited to 5-10 second clips, with no support for voiceovers, subtitles, or complex narratives—details never disclosed on their website or during signup.

This lack of transparency feels deceptive, especially after paying for a subscription that can’t deliver on promised functionality. The credit system is opaque, with no clear explanation of costs or limits, echoing complaints on Trustpilot about unexpected charges and poor support. I’m now seeking a refund, as Pixelcut failed to meet basic consumer expectations. Save your money and use a more reliable platform like Kapwing, which offers clear terms and actual video export capabilities.
