***EDITED - the company did end up responding quickly and refunding me for all of the monthly subscriptions they had pulled without issue, which was nice to see. Increasing to 3 stars for that reason. I still think it’s extremely shady how they do this hidden subscription with no monthly receipts to flag you. For that reason, I cannot recommend.

This company is a scam - shady and deceitful. They have been charging me $40/month for 6 months for a subscription I never signed up for, nor have I received any email notifications of recurring transactions at such an astronomical rate. I have one $1.49 transaction in my emails that I had to dig for and have no knowledge of ever using or signing up for. Do NOT fall for their devious tactics. Makes me sick.

Easy and fast

Pixella was very easy to use and created an image exactly like I envisioned.

While I love the recreation of my image, I do feel we should have the option to change photos if we'd like to especially if we paid for services so that should definitely be updated. But thank you for your services, my photo is still beautiful and I didn't even have to hire a professional photographer and spend hundreds of dollars for one image simple image so thank you.

I had an issue with subscription. They resolved it quickly with kindness and swiftness

I downloaded the app to play around with, it made a photo I really liked, but had to pay 1.49 to remove watermark. Which I paid, not realizing a few short days later I would be charged 49.99 for a monthly subscription. I contacted them and explained and the refund was issued with in minutes of my email being sent.
Great app. But offer an option to just pay for per photo, no subscriptions.

After unintentionally subscribing, I contacted support regarding the possibility of a refund. Their response was very quick, professional and helpful. They cancelled the subscription and took the necessary steps to ensure a satisfactory solution.

Absolutely unprofessional service!

They put advertisements about service which looks pretty nice on the start, you press to pay like 0,90 euro for trial and then - ooops, you charged in 1 week with 50€ per month for subscription on this platform.

When you will contact them, it would be fast and pleasant reply, buuuut - they very sorry, but cannot proceed with refund, because “like you take responsibility and subscribe them”.

But - the most important that they didn’t inform anywhere during this process on the start that they will take a charge for this, and 50 💶 for month. It is unbelievable, although another applications mostly even free.

So, scam!
Avoid it please ❗️❗️

BE AWARE OF THE SMALL LETTERS!

You might pay a small deposit for a week trial but it’s eventually a SCAM! They have well hidden small letters that you are signing up for a subscription.

You never see that, you are never informed by email or anything. Your week trial eventually ends and with no notice, you are eventually charged 50€+ for a subscription you never realised you signed up and although you cancel it right away and you contact them about this mistake l, they tell you that a refund is not possible. DEFINITELY A SCAM COMPANY! BE AWARE!

Swiftness and clarity of my documents that I needed.

This is my first time using Pixella. Most of the images that I will be making are going to be characters for films that I am working on and the first one came out great! :D I will have to remove one of the objects in the background part of the scene the character is in. But other than that it's great!...

I used them once as a free trial. A week later I was billed $70 monthly subscription. When I disputed signing up for a subscription, they told me the conditions state that I would be charged a subscription. I was unaware of this as this was not obvious anywhere. I cancelled the subscription but they refused refunding the $70 but said I could have full access to the site until June 23, 2026. Surprise, surprise! I can't even log into the site anymore. They have stolen $70 from me and I have nothing. AVOID! AVOID! LIKE THE PLAGUE!
