Wish we had never heard of PKB - awful experience
We placed our order with this company in March and paid the deposit and today, 11 December, we still do not have a finished kitchen. The order was FINALLY delivered in October (took WAY too long to get to that point) and there were multiple doors and items that were not here on delivery. Every time we had to report them in and they might then confess to there being x or y also coming 6 weeks later, but never were they upfront about it. Tomorrow they were supposed to have been delivering the last SIX damaged or just totally missing doors. I called to confirm and was told yes definitely coming Friday (2 days time). Also had a call from the logistics team to let me know what time to expect them. But today have received a totally automated email saying “incorrect date given, now expected in 6 weeks time”!!! Totally unacceptable! Not even an apology in the email! I have a fitter booked who has already had to come back multiple times because they didn’t send all the correct items on the original delivery date. We are so so disappointed with this company. We went with them because we were told they make everything there. That’s clearly not true as we have repeatedly had to wait to hear from “their suppliers” for delivery dates. It will be 10 months from deposit to the kitchen being finished now (and that’s if the final doors actually do turn up in 6 weeks - who knows if they will, I certainly have no faith now that they will.) Totally totally unacceptable. We tried to
support local business but I so regret not going with Magnet. Worst money I ever spent sadly, and we had such high hopes.
