Slow technical support. They state technical support is 24/7, but they don’t provide any support until 24 hrs after, even after a new purchase
I purchased the Planar Helium 27'' touch screen (PCT2785) through a European (German) reseller, but unfortunately it had some problems with (minor) debris from the production behind the glass of the screen.
The monitor was replaced twice directly by Planar, but also the third monitor suffered from production debris. Planar customer service would not allow for another replacement. After a mail to the management the case was reopened and investigated. It turned out that there had been some issues in the production of the particular revision and a new revision was made.
Planar replaced the monitor for the fourth time and this time to a perfect and flawless monitor. Even more Planar offered me a second monitor free of choice at a reduced price. Planar has also covered all shipping costs and custom duties between USA and Denmark from the first replacement to the delivery of the second monitor.
I would love to work at Planar if they had a location in Denmark - a better recommendation a company cannot get.
