Some people are just vile. Total scam I’m afraid. Took my money, blocked me etc. It’s a horrible feeling. But very professional. They even sent me a confirmation email.
This company is 100% a scam. They send you a confirmation email, then a few days later a shipping notice with no tracking. They blocked me on social media and the link to their website that I have in my email no longer works. My bank is disputing the charge.
I fell for this SCAM on Instagram as well. My browser actually prevented me from going to the website connected to the purchase confirmation Email, now vvsplatinum.com. I received a warning that this website is a security risk!! I have tried to contact them but have heard nothing. I ordered on 8/31/23 and it's 12/2/23 and still no product and no contact. Am working with my credit card company but to anyone considering this product DON'T!!
SCAM!! I even researched first, looked legit, but fake. Nothing exists now and I am working with my card company. Do not buy. Ordered 8/23 and still to this day nothing. The links on the fake order email go nowhere. This was a social media ad on Insta.
scam!!!! ordered $95 worth of window tints and never received them. looked for website or Instagram and everything is gone. second time I've been scammed from an Instagram ad! thanks instagram
Why didn’t I look here 1st. Company is a scam order never came
OMG I’ve been scammed too!!!
All of a sudden the instagram page and website has vanished!
SCAM! I ordered in Aug 18 2023 and my card was charged but I have not received the order. I just found this review today and has experienced the same. I cannot access their webpage. I ordered through Instagram and it connected to my ShopPay account and I cannot access them from there too. I looked for them again in Instagram and commented on one their post about not receiving the order and now I cant find them in Insta anymore.
Never received my order, and now the website is deleted.
I did research before I ordered and seemed legit with many positive reviews but unfortunately still a scam
Beware, this is very much a scam. I saw a window tint ad on Instagram and decided to buy one sheet, thankfully it wasn't too much. They had thousands of good reviews. They sent a message saying that they sent it, but I haven't received anything. Sent them a message and their site and page were magically deleted, unbelievable.
Welp... I got scammed. Darn!! I try to be so careful but they got me. Saw an ad on Instagram, did a little research and it seems legit so I ordered. It has been 3 weeks and I haven't gotten a follow up so I decided to email them and check in. Before I sent the email, I thought I would go to their website to see if they say how long orders take... the website is GONE!!! Crap. Thank God I only purchased a small strip, out $33 but it could have been much worse. Should have known when the email address was a Gmail address (didn't notice that until I went to my order confirmation to find the email. It is getting to the point where I don't trust ANYTHING on Instagram anymore.
Ordered from them and never received the item. Blocked me when I asked for a refund
I would give them no stars but had to in order to write this review. I ordered their tint and they took my money. Never delivered nor answer their emails. They are definitely a scam company!! Do not order from them.
I am in the market for one-way privacy tint for my windows, and an ad for platinumvvs showed up. Specifically, I was seeing their videos posted on Instagram @platinumvvs account.
I had done research on privacy tints and all of them mention that an observer outside would be able to see inside at night when the interior is brighter than the outside. I noticed many comments asking if this was the case for platinumvvs's product, and the company replied that their product is unique and does not suffer from the issue. I was dubious, as it seemed physically impossible. They also referred commenters to a picture they had posted of a home at night with the tint installed.
When I pointed out the home in the image appeared to have curtains installed to block interior light, due to the light leaks visible around the curtains, platinumvvs decided to block me. Additionally, all my comments have been deleted to prevent other viewers from becoming privy to their tactics.
Their product appears to be no different from similar tints on the market, except for a deceptive claims and a cost that is more than 12 times higher than other "daytime privacy" tints on Amazon.
