I found Play.fast completely by accident. I was typing a sentence and happened to type play at the end of one sentence, then fast at the start of the next. I clicked it out of curiosity and ended up discovering a such a website existed.

I tried to create an expense-tracking app for my husband and me. I thought it was a long shot, but less than 30 minutes later, I was genuinely surprised by what I had built.

My tracker still needs some information and tweaking to make it comprehensive. But being able to add whatever features you want makes it worth it.

I like the fact that i can do the boring stuff in minutes. The customization of what i want is also a plus.

I'd call it a combination of play and work. At first i was a bit skeptical bc not once i have tried ai tools and they have disappointed.

First, i am not a coder but i needed a task tracker that could combine my work and personal tasks. We have many tools for that, but none could bring out the playfulness i needed.

After 2 or 3 prompts i got what i wanted in a few hours. Not perfect the first time, but it was worth trying different prompts and narrowing down what i wanted.

So it’s surprising good and capable, kinda built out everything I needed for my search team and sales team in about 3 hours.
Came up with something a lot of custom and with less bs than what I had on hubspot.
But the usage limits were annoying. Ended up spending about $50 more on extra usage. Did come out with a replacement for my 2 monthly subs that cost $700 though, so it’s been good so far.
Other issue is just that I’m always tempted to carry on tinkering with the outputs, but I can’t say that’s something against the prod as much as my own urge for always building something better.
