They want money constantly always encouraging you to upgrade everything! And once you do spend your hard earned money in game playing they can just cut you off network and don’t give you zero explanation or a way to appeal it! We spent more than a hundred dollars on a yearly subscription and they suspended my account for absolutely nothing said i violated code of conduct! I did absolutely nothing and there’s no way to argue it or appeal! Just have to take it!! I promise to god save your money don’t go PlayStation go to Xbox or PC they’re not corrupt!! You wont see more than one star anywhere. Worst customer service experience I’ve ever had — hands down. The support team lacks basic product knowledge, shows zero empathy, and leaves you feeling more mistreated than helped. It's shocking that a major brand operates with such inflexible policies and a complete lack of customer focus.
As someone new to gaming, I expected better. Had I known how unhelpful and borderline deceptive this company could be, I would’ve taken my business elsewhere. I’m seriously considering selling my console and never looking back.
Here’s what happened: I accidentally downloaded the wrong version of a game — didn’t even play it — and reached out for help. Instead of assisting, the rep convinced me to resubscribe to PlayStation Plus, only for me to find out afterward that the game I needed still wasn’t included. They got me to pay twice, and I ended up with nothing I wanted. It felt more like a setup than a mistake.
Frankly, it borders on predatory. In some places, taking $90 under false pretenses would be considered theft. Yet somehow, this company does it every day without consequence. It’s disgraceful. One way or another there time will come

Awful customer service - take your money and don’t care about service
Awful customer service. Bought a PS5 for my 7 year olds birthday and every game crashes seconds in to playing. But because I purchased it the month before (when I got paid!!) I was over the 30 days. By a few days…They are making me send it back to be repaired (I have to package it myself and print a label, we have no printer!) and they will look at it to repair. It will take them up to 15 days to do so. Meanwhile my little boy is now without his only birthday present for possibly weeks. Disgusting service when the console is obviously broken. None of the people I spoke to were particularly willing to help.

Today marked the height of the PSN incompetency. First this is not the first time somebody was able to hack into my account via PSN and steal money from me. Also changed the Email linked to the account so I had no access. When I called Sony Support number they said they would make a case but then the refund was denied. I Called again and said I would have to claim it as a fraudulent purchase with my Bank. They basically told me go F myself and have a nice day.
When Calling my bank they gave me provisional credit. Provisional meaning directly from my banks company. However Playstation saw this and suspended my account. Now I cannot access my hacked account because of a suspension placed by sony after a fraudulant purchase they WOULD NOT resolve. I have several emails and attachments showing this information. But I have to give back 160$ that I didn't spend to Playstation. Without guarantee I even get my PS Account back. What if the Hacker also filed for a refund and has the actual money. Playstation has been messed up with their support process and I hope either the company burns out or somebody useful takes charge.
Don't buy a playstation now. Until they can fix their PSN authentication process. (Note: I did have the PSN app and my own PIN code that somehow all got deleted when the accounts email changed. They need a lot better authentication process than this app.

Playstation support is rude and unhelpful. I literally queued for 20 mins online to speak to someone and after asking for a refund on a game that I didn’t even purchase myself, they said they can’t help me and just closed down the chat when I still needed further assistance. Although I didn’t purchase this subscription myself, do not use PlayStation to subscribe to any games because even if another company would allow you to get a refund, they can’t do it because it’s brought through PlayStation so you literally have no way of getting that money back. PlayStation is absolutely greedy and pretty soon I’m going to switch to Xbox because of the constant issues I have with PlayStation.

Sony doesn’t care about fraud
If you report a fraudulent purchase, they’ll do nothing about it. Literally nothing. I had to change my credit card number and dispute the purchase on the bank’s side. But when you do that? They freeze your account, and won’t unfreeze it till you pay for whatever crap someone else purchased. The second it hit my card I froze everything and tried to report it on PlayStation’s side, but it’s so unorganized and terribly handled the only response I could get was “we do not offer refunds”.

Casually takes content from you and if your ps cant register the licensing you are screwed. If you buy a game, try it and dont like it? You (by their own words in their policy) you are no longer eligble for a refund regardless of how the game was advertised.
You could have one “support agent” tell you one thing and have another support agent tell you the EXACT opposite of what the last one told you. Their own employees dont even freaking know how it works, their policy is just getting more strict in a sense that if you give them money its theirs. You cant refund.
