Plumb4u replaced a particularly aged boiler and installed a new boiler in a different location for a vulnerable relative. The job required a significant amount of piping and new components to be installed. This included coming back several times to identify and resolve unexpected issues. Pricing compared favourably with other quotations.

We've used Plumb4u for a number of years and the service is always excellent - boiler replacement and regular servicing etc. They are reliable and always punctual and come highly recommended.

On first read all good recommended. On actually experiencing the service words fail really. Leak on boiler, two individuals arrived 30min late no apology, no equipment just a light ok. Review issue then proceed. No introduction of names, unprofessional in manner, NO MASKS, I felt unsafe, they started looking around out side,I felt uneasy. On asking about masks oh yes we have masks, thinking on entry masks put on, but no, I felt unsafe, dumb struck, frozen, to sort boiler, protect my shielding family member. nothing but negative comments on the boiler between themselves. I felt panic, unsettled in my own home, PTFE tape put round hot water leaking pipe??? Oh we'll come back tomorrow (only been here 20mins, 2pm) call out £39 I needed them out so said ok let me know job and price. They sauntered off. Text later to weld a 1.5 piece of pipe to raise above boiler and weld leak labour £200.00. Didn't even take boiler front off to inspect boiler 2 yrs old. Result no heat no hot water, I feel my house has been violated by disrespectful individuals in Covid times. I would not recommend these people. What has happened to people today.

After being well and truly scammed by plumforcedirect.co.uk I called this company when my boiler broke down. They sent someone round that day, diagnosed the fault and ordered the part. It cost £37 whereas plumbforcedirect made the wrong diagnosis and quoted £658.80!!
I picked up the part and fitted it myself in 10 minutes. Absolutely 100% honest and reliable and very nice people.
