I called all 5 of the companies you sent. Two did not respond 3 did contact me. I choose one and every time he spoke to me the price was increased. I had to carry his bucket of supplies for him as he could not and walk up or down stairs. I finally got him out of our home around 8:30 that evening. I contacted one of the other people on your list. They did come out an complete the repairs. I had to pay twice for the same work.

I know a great plumber that does great work.

as high as $1,500 for a job that M'Kenna Morgan Plumbing did for under $100. Within 3 minutes of contacting this site, I received 3 calls in response to my plumbing problem. I really appreciate this website service, especially for allowing potential customers to get a general quote over the phone. Most plumbers want to charge $100 to quote you at your home. After describing my problem over the phone to 2 of the plumbers both stated that the only solution was a very expensive one, not including the
cost of plaster repairs. M'Kenna Morgan repaired my problem in less that 10 minutes for less than the cost of an in-home estimate. I am one very satisfied customer!

He was friendly on the phone, explaining everything very well. Arrived on time and in and out in less than 2 hours. Prices were great and he was wonderful. Would hire him again anytime. I am recommending him to everyone I see.

Plumbingnetworks provided three referrals and a promise that I would be contacted within thirty minutes. Two of the three met that requirement. The other referral was most apologetic about the delay in calling but had a very good reason. I highly recommend this service to anyone who needs a plumber.

I had a clogged sink that I couldn't plunge out myself. We had just gotten a few inches of show and the roads had not been completely cleared of snow. It was late afternoon so I figured I probably wouldn't be able to get anyone to come until the next day without paying extra for an after hour fee. After submitting my request for four plumbers to call with a quote, I got the first call who quoted me an outrageous cost to come out that evening and another high cost to come out the next day. I told them no thank you. Then Proper Plumbing Services called and give me a very reasonable quote to come out within 30 minutes. I agreed to their service. They arrived within 30 minutes, cleared the drain, checked the rest of the lines for leaks. They were friendly courteous and professional and only charged me the rate they quoted over the phone. I will use them again and recommend them to others.

We had a backed up sewer drain. Had the city out, but they could not find the clean-out trap. Told us to call for a plumber -- avoid anything with "Rooter" in the name -- and it should cost no more than $150. They are honest workers, and all experienced plumbers in their own right.

We called over a dozen local plumbing companies. Estimates varied from $175 flat rate to $132 an HOUR (with no guarantee of how long it would take; guy said "FOUR hours or more!"). That last company wanted $132 for the first half hour, then $33.50 for every 15 minutes after that PLUS $50 for the snake machine rental (!!!!) -- two men. Gee, how long do you think they would have dragged this on? Their rough estimate for unclogging the sewer drain -- $1200.

Other estimates ranged around $275 to $600. I went with the $175 guy (M2K Construction of Gates Mills, Ohio). He was also the only place that offered a six month guarantee! Excellent work. Took a bit over an hour, one man. Drains run better than ever! He did NOT require a cleanout trap, found a side drain in the furnace room and used that.

So -- it is worth it to shop around. The city was helpful at least with advice, if not actual cleaning. Ask questions! It is sad that plumbers have this reputation for being unethical but it is their own fault. They need standards or some uniform pricing guidelines!

My story was just as it was on a story on the Andy Griffin Program with Aunt Bee. She did not want to call the Man and want Goober to do the work. I am glad that I called the Man with my plumbing problem and it got fix quick!!!!

The plumber that was sent to my house was not only the besr but he was very honest and that's very unuasuall with plumbers

The experience was great up until I was told how much it would cost to have my powder room vanity installed. I really have nothing to base this on except that $500.00 for 4 hours of work seems awfully high.

However, he did promise to get back to me in one week to install a sink stopped unit and he didi not do so.

3 of the 4 recommended plumbers contacted me after I submitted my inquiry. One gave a detailed estimate by phone (no on-site inspection needed). The other 2 scheduled to come by & give a free on-site estimate later the same day. Only 1 of them actually showed up, and we contracted him for the job. He did it quickly, professionally, using high quality supplies, for the quoted price, and at the best rate of all quoted.

Todd did a great job, after the job was done he did a good job cleaning up. The floor was so clean you would never knew he did repairs the job was done in no time at all.

Minyard Plumbing was here when they said they would be, had the necessary parts, and made the repairs in one hour. Minimal pain, minimal expense, very happy.

One of my water pipes burst due to the fact of being frozen. Stallion Pipes and Drains came and fixed the pipe. It was in a very difficult place. Not easy to get to. However, it didn't stop this particular plumber. It took about 3 1/2 hours, a lot shorter time than what I thought and charged me a price much smaller than what I was expecting. All in all, I was relieved to find someone to help me. I would definitely call this plumber again if I needed him again.

Problem taken care of the same day with an established professional.

Easy to use site allowed me to find 4-5 plumbers that wanted my business. I checked out their reviews ahead of time so when they called, I already knew if they met my expectations. Estimates ranged all over the board and I hired the one in the middle. He did a quick fantastic job same day I put out the request, and my problems were solved. Over-all from time I put out the request to the time it was repaired was less than 8 hours and cost under $150. Very satisfied. Makes my life easier.

I had wanted a side by side with the ice and water dispenser forever. Mike Cordova came in look under my sink and said no problem. I was ecstatic! I went out and brought a side by side refrigerator, mike came over and ran the line from my sink to my new refrigerator. He didn't make a mess, he told me every step of the job what he was doing. He was finished in less than a hour. I'm so happy with the work Mike Cordova did. I would definitely call YPS for all my plumbing needs. And the price was reasonable, I did check with other plumbing services and they were higher.
