I needed an in-line fan replacing in my shower room, just used a search engine and the details for Plymouth Sparky came up. Chris answered my phone call and it was quickly obvious that he knew exactly what was required, gave me a good estimate and could get to me in just a few days, perfect. Next day I got an email confirming the arrangements which was good. 10 minutes before he was due he phoned me to confirm he was on the way and would be on time. A quick discussion and I liked the way that Chris checked the area/electrics were all safe and the work was soon completed. Chris left the area all clean and tidy and I am very impressed with the fan he installed. Would definitely recommend him to my family and friends if they required a reliable Sparky!

I needed a bathroom extractor fan fitting, garage wiring to replace fluorescent tubes with LED strip lights and switching of PIR security lights. These jobs proved too small for any other electrician to deal with. Chris quoted in my first telephone call and the jobs were efficiently done by Dave and Ben within the same week. BZ. Really pleased with how proactive these guys were. Would use again.

This firm is very efficient to deal with, they answer enquiries quickly and arrange visits asap. Thus is second time I have used their service and their electricians are top class. Highly recommended.

Paul was on time and got the jobs done quickly and professionally. He was friendly and polite, and was great with our dogs too! Whenever I contacted the office I always got a timely response. I will definitely book any future work through them and I would 100% recommend them to anyone.

Got to say, got these to do my Pat testing. Had over 500 items and they managed to do it in one day. The two guys that came were extremely professional and they also got the paperwork out to me the very same day, still don’t know how they did it!! See you next year.

Must say, these guys are absolutely amazing. Had Chris come around and quote, after 3 other companies let me down. He arrived bang in time and walked me through everything. Quote was sent out the very same day. Once I accepted the quote, Chris rang me, and told me when they were free to come around. Paul then arrived to do the work, and was thoroughly impressed by his knowledge. He was extremely polite and even and a quick cuddle with my labrador. The new fuse box was on by 1:30, he then tested the entire house to make sure all was in good working order. Will be using them again when we have to put downlights in the front room, dinning room and hallway. Thanks again

I write this because I have just had to sell my property following the catastrophic job done by Plymouth Sparkey. I'm also advised that building work complaints can be made for up to 6 years. In 2020 as a Landlord I asked Plymouth Sparkey to update my Electric Box. Ripping the wires out they turned it into an unnecessary full rewire. The full re-wire on completion undermined the house to a major extent that my complaint to Napit was upheld Ref: Napit Complaint SM21-23. The circuits put in were too weak to manage a simple electrical load in the kitchen. Lights in different rooms were wired together, the link from the electrical box to the garage - the garage connections were ripped out and the original wires from the electrial box held together with electrical tape, none of the walls were filled on completion, unnecessary holes put in the ceilings etc. I have included the complaint number so it can be traced at Napit to follow this up should anyone decided to use this company. This caused me so much stress and pain I've had to sell my home of many years. They turn up with many vans and many people, promising anything you ask but the disappointment and complaints service of Plymouth Sparkey is disastrous as they know Napit after upholding the complaint ask you to let them back in to put in right, I cannot comment on the fairness of this. I only know after 18 months of wrangling at the time, I would be still left with a destroyed house and a company that proudly knows nothing will come of it. Spend your money and time with another company that will give true quality, as Plymouth Sparkey won't. Should anyone wish I can send photographs and the Napit report to validate this information.

Contacted the firm to replace a bathroom light switch and got a very fast response. Ben turned up bang on time and was polite friendly and professional. He also was able to fit in a couple of other small jobs that I sprang on him. Very happy to recommend and will use again

We had the pleasure of Paul from Plymouth Sparky visit us who sorted out exposed connections to an old light switch we discovered after removing tiles to our downstairs toilet. He tested the circuit and re wired to make the exposed cavity safe for covering over with new decor. Paul explained exactly what he was going to do and the job was completed to perfection quickly and efficiently and the work area cleaned up. One of the nicest people you could wish to meet and highly competent.
This was the second time we have used Plymouth Sparky and they are our go to electricians.

This company were brilliant. The electrician that did the work was so pleasant and efficient, it was a pleasure to have him in the house. The appointment was prompt as was the quotation.

Outstanding installation and great experience with Chris, Dave & Paul from Plymouth Sparky. We needed a new electric consumer unit fitted as ours was very dated and in an awkward place. We phoned several electricians for quotes, got let down by a few with no shows and some that could do the work but had limited availability. Chris was friendly and prompt in giving a quote, advising on the best course of action and best installation layout. Straight forward process which just made it an easy decision. Dave and Paul are great guys, very friendly, easy to talk with and carried out excellent work. We are very happy with the service and would recommend to anyone. Thank you very much for the work carried out, we will be looking forward to have Plymouth Sparky and team come do more electrical work.

Great experience with Plymouth Sparky Ltd. I needed an insurance condition report at short notice and Chris arranged for a visit a couple of days later. Dave texted in the morning to say what time he would be arriving, lovely chap, nothing too much trouble, report arrived same day. Excellent service all round, would definitely recommend and will definitely use them again.

Chris, Dave, Paul and the Team have recently completed a full rewire of our 4 bedroom Victorian terrace. From the initial inspection, to their recommendations for work and then once the decision was made to rewire their professionalism has been outstanding, and the quote for the amount of work was more than reasonable. We agreed the rewire on a Monday and the following Monday they were in on the job.

Communication has been excellent, their suggestions has not only got the job done but future proofed our home for years to come. Completed a full rewire of the house in a quick time.
