Overall everything was excellent. In terms of functionality, navigating the website, using study hall, and scheduling the exam through Pearson Vue was seamless.

The steps to create an account, register for PDUs, purchase the exam, and schedule the test date was seamless and convenient. Within 48 hours the test results were received and confirmed with the PMP Certification.

There is always room for improvement so I don’t give 5 stars. I really really appreciate that upon notification of passing the PMP exam my Study Hall subscription was automatically cancelled Thank you for making that easy!! I didn’t like having to wait 24 hours for my results. That made me more anxious than taking the test. But I get it, a proxy test needs a review before awarding a PMP certification.

Finding free & low cost study material was extremely difficult. The you-tube videos helped a bit but I believe there are to many people who promise that you pass if you pay them hundreds of dollars.

I recently completed the PMP exam and found the entire journey to be a truly positive experience. The study material was exceptionally clear and engaging, which kept the process interesting rather than feeling like a chore. While the exam is certainly a challenge, the content is structured so well that it never becomes boring or repetitive.

The resources provided by PMI are of the highest quality. I found the downloadable PDF versions of the PMBOK Guide and the Agile Practice Guide to be indispensable tools for my preparation. However, the resource that helped me the most was the official mock exam. It provided excellent practice and was the key factor in building my confidence before the actual test.

The administrative process was equally impressive. Filling out the application was straightforward and I never felt confused by the requirements. For the exam itself, I chose the online proctored option. The setup was simple and I encountered no technical issues because the instructions provided were very easy to follow.

I highly recommend pursuing this certification to anyone interested in a project management career or for those simply looking to upskill. It is a fantastic way to improve yourself professionally and gain a solid foundation in the field.

This has been a long journey, take it from me. The best place is PMI. The website has so many options and choices for learning!

It was very challenging, but there are a lot of resources available for learning that allowed me to be well prepared for the exam, and for my on-going career.

The ease of which you can update your dashboard and navigate the site makes it a pleasure to setup your testing and training.

The PMP certifications biggest downfall and area for improvement is how elusive it is and applicable in real life. There's no clear list of what resources and knowledge are required to know and where the exam questions are directly derived from or how its even scored, but just "areas". That makes it difficult to study and feel prepared fully especially with the high cost associated with it. It also isn't realistic for how 99% of people manage projects. The PMP looks good on a resume and studying some of the concepts and ideas are valuable to apply to your experience, but its not applicable or practical based on the content alone.

Application process and clear instructions

Great staff at the Pearson Vue testing center who were there to assist w anything needed. It was also great to get instant feedback on passing/not passing day of the test.

The application process was easy and the instructions were clear. It was convenient when scheduling the exam and the support groups and classes to prepare were effective.

The study hall sessions

I recently took my PMP exam and had a very positive experience. The process was smooth, well-organized, and everything was clearly explained from start to finish. The exam environment was professional and secure, and the instructions were easy to follow. Overall, I felt confident during the exam, and I’m happy to say I passed successfully. I would recommend this process to other candidates.

Overall, a manageable experience to apply and to take the exam. At times, it feels that the goal of the exam questions is to trick the test taker rather than honing in to what the concept or topic is. I find the practice exams costing money (and a lot of it) goes against PMI principles in educating future practitioners— it often feels that PMI is looking for new ways to grab money instead of ways to equip members to succeed. I recommend that PMI looks for the membership benefits to reflect opportunities for members to showcase their interest and then gain knowledge without breaking the bank. More and more, the PMI membership does not seem worth the price against the “benefits” it provides. Please consider being a people-first institute rather than a money-first one. I took the PMP exam and earned AT in all three domains, however I didn’t come out of it feeling like I’m joining an institute that is affordable or inclusive.
