I cancelled my subscription on the…

I cancelled my subscription on the dashboard in july, and they are still taking payments , I have emailed several times now and all bounceing , cant access their website now and ive now raised dispute with bank to try and block further payments.

SCAM


Cancelled our account after releasing it was a scam almost 2 years ago, now they've started to try and take payment from our account completely randomly after all this time.

Awful service emails and tickets raised…

Awful service emails and tickets raised and have been ignored, 5 payments taken after asking for my subscription to be cancelled, with the promise of a refund for them all, never happened. And emails now get no response. Being on mat leave and pay being lower than usual I was banking on the refund

Support is non existent

Support is non existent! My website would go down often without an explanation and then it would take forever for them to respond to support tickets and emails. I cancelled my subscription at the end of July 2025 and they have since taken two payments, even though my website is now hosted by another provider. I have sent support tickets and emails and not received a response, so now talking to my bank to block any further payments. My advise would be to stay clear of Podpress!

This is a scam

This is 100% a scam. Hosting unable to handle more than one visitor at a time. Clearly a reseller with a fake website.

Most links on homepage don't work.
Phone number doesnt work.
Support ignored me now for a week.
cPanel inaccessible.

Expensive even if it worked and had support.

I recommend walking away from this, and speaking to CloudAbove

Cancelled in April 2025 and they…

Cancelled in April 2025 and they refunded me then started taking money from my account again in May with their emails showing failed to send…. even tho my website is no longer online No response other than I look into it….next step for me is legal advice and a trip to the bank

SCAM!!! SCAM!!!! SCAM!!!

Shame I can't give it -5 and report as scam. Like so many others, I was signed up with someone who needed to complete a website creation for their uni work. I was looking at getting a website so had a few discussions and went for it. Like so many others, I cancelled in April and had an email confirming this. Since then, a further 3 payments have been taken out. I have raised a ticket which immediately got closed so I reopened it. It is just being ignored. I tried to call the number on the website- non existant. I tried to go to their fb through the web page- link non existent. I wish I had read some of the reviews beforehand. The person who needed to create a website for uni also happens to be a long term "employee" in the reviews too. Utterly scammed and shall be going to bank/contacting fraud team now as there seems to be no way to stop these payments.

Very poor customer service, and taking if unauthorised payments

I have have only given one star rating as it does not allow me to score ZERO.
I have not used my website since May 2024. My Podpress was set at manual renewal, however, monthly subscriptions continued to be taken from my account. I have closed, or so I thought, my account on more than one occasion. An email was received from their retention team 1/11/25 offering 15% off monthly subs to remain a customer. I did not take this offer up. I noted a couple of months ago that Podpress did not close the account, but continued to take payment from my bank account. I raised this with them and again asked that the account be closed and full refund of all subs be reimbursed. A response was received from them stating that they have no record of my request to close the account (I have) and they they are only able to refund up to a 90 day period. A further repayment has been taken from my account today. A further "ticket" has been raised, requesting account closure, refund of all payments and Subject Access Request for all information and contact to and from me be sent to me. If the response is not satisfactory it is my intention to raise a cashback via my bank for unauthorised payments from my bank account.

Cancelled the subscription because no…

Cancelled the subscription because no longer running a website and the money still came out of the bank. There is no way I can remove my card details. I have emailed and opened two tickets and no reply as of yet. I am hoping it has been completely cancelled and no further payments will be taken.

GETTING EXTREMELY ANNOYED NOW AT THE INCOMPETENCY OF THIS COMPANY

I actually cancelled my services many months ago and were a negative review back then because they were still trying to take payments from me after having confirmation via email of my cancellation. It’s now January and I am STILL receiving emails for invoices they have raised and notices of ‘non payment’ for services I cancelled last year. How difficult is it for this company to actually CANCEL services for people PROPERLY!? It appears to me that they’re either extremely incompetent or they intentionally do this to extract more money from people.

Website down and no support help

I have set my subscription to cancel because for over a week now my website has been down and I cannot log into my control panel. I raised a support ticket 8 days ago and there is still no answer other than 'try it now' and nothing has changed.

You offered me a further month of hosting for free but didn't honour it and my website is now offline again!

Absolutely shocking

Absolutely shocking. Scam of a company. Cannot speak to anyone. I want to cancel my hosting after multiple failings on my website. I will be taking this further and having them investigated. I will cancel my monthly charge straight from my bank and ensure there are consequences for this AWFUL company.
Further to the response from podpress I have responded to emails with no reply from them whatsoever. I couldn't simply "log on" to cancel my hosting because I couldn't access my account to talk to anyone. From open support ticket that was also no help whatsoever. I've now lost all the work I wanted to retrieve from my website and I'm extremely disappointed in this service and how hard it is to simply get an answer or fix the many issues I've encountered with this hosting companies. Devastated to have put so much effort into this for it to end this way.

**edit to respond. How do I open a support ticket when I can't log in, and after multiple attempts to reset password with no success, how would you propose I move forward to get answers??

**further edit. There is no email. There is no moving forward with this. Now how do I know you've even cancelled my subscription if you can't verify my email or find a way to get me logged in so I can speak to someone?? I've taken a screenshot of your response claiming to have cancelled my subscription, and I will also go directly to my bank to ensure this. I received email invoices from you, so I know there has to be a way to communicate. But I can't figure out how to do that, and every avenue I try seems like a dead end. Similar to many other negative reviews you have received. I highly recommend working on your customer support service in the future.

Cant cancel


I am having issues cancelling my payments to Podpress. I haven't had a website for nearly a year, and have tried to cancel on numerous occasions. The website was being set up by someone who was working on it as part of their university course, however I am no longer in contact with them, and therefore don't have any of the login details. I have no idea how to log on, and have had this money being taken now for a long time, and unable to cancel it from the bank side.

Without any login details, it is impossible to cancel this payment, which will forever be leaving my account, and there is no way to actually contact anyone to have it cancelled from their end, without logging in.

Disgraceful business practises.
