I purchased a $721 Lucasi Custom pool…

I purchased a $721.80 Lucasi Custom pool cue from this company on 12/29/2025. It was delivered about 6 days later. I took it out of the box and hit about 9 balls with it. I have my own pool table at home. After a very close examination of the shaft, I found a very small defect/flaw just above the LC letters. That is where the lamination ends which only extends about 3 1/2" from the connection end. I could feel it and looked at it with a magnifying glass and could see the top edge starting to peel away from the shaft, other people saw and felt the same thing. Granted, it was a very tiny flaw but it should not have been there. I also bought a carbon fiber shaft for it on 12/30/2025, when I received it, I put it on the LC butt and hit about 20 or so balls with it. I really liked the way it felt and I wanted to keep the cue butt and send back the wood shaft that it came with but the company, Teddy told me that they could not just take back the shaft because they were a unique match. OK, no problem, so I sent everything back and asked for a full refund. I talked to Steve about it and told him about the defect, I had sent Teddy a picture of it showing exactly where it was. When Steve took it out of the box, he said he and 2 other experts looked it over and could not find any flaw or defect, so he refused to refund all my money. They did refund all but 10% of the total for RESTOCKING fees. Since the carbon fiber shaft only cost $449.10 there should not have been any restocking fee as per their own NO HASSLE return policy but they charged me anyway. I will NEVER purchase anything from them again and I cannot reccommend them.
