Very good phone manner, friendly people

Very friendly staff during a crisis with my bike, especially the young lady on the phone. Steve sorted my issue swiftly with empathy. Nice to know people still know how to help out those in a pickle, with a smile. Not been to site as this was a delivery purchase but sounds a happy place.

Headline: WARNING TO ALL RIDERS (Especially Professional Drivers)

"I purchased a CFMoto CL700X Sport from this dealership, and the experience has been a legal nightmare. They sold the bike with a registration number that does not exist on the DVLA database. I unknowingly rode 74 miles on an unregistered, untaxed, and uninsured vehicle because of their negligence.
As an HGV driver, this mistake could have cost me my career and my license. To make matters worse, despite the bike being illegal to use, the dealer has completely ghosted me—no contact and no resolution for two weeks.
If you value your license and expect a road-legal vehicle, stay away from this company. They are happy to take your money but will leave you legally exposed and stranded when they fail to provide the basic legal paperwork required for a sale. Avoid at all costs."

bike was falling apart THEY ARE GOING TO KILL SOMEONE

saved up and brought a brand new yamasaki ck50 to avoid all of the used bike issues. was told it would be delivered within maximum 10 days ended up being 2 weeks. no big deal. No communication throughout the whole process then, delivery day bike arrived, had minor scratches, within 2 hours of delivery and 20 miles later my exhaust fell off, right from the head. Then called them and they told me i had to either bring it down or they could send me the parts, after multiple phones calls to even get that far. Then after we said we are not paying another delivery fee to get it collected as it was 2 hours old. Then finally agreed to collect it. arriving at 9:30pm in the pitch black then heard nothing till 2 days later when they said the fixed it reluctantly. then dropped it back. 500 miles later went to get it serviced at a yamasaki authorised dealer was told it had loose headstock bearing and loose shock bearings, with a nut 2 threads away from coming loose and collapsing the rear end and was told this was obviously never tightened. service centre tightened what they could then released the bike. i then called up poole moto and they tried to blame fault on me and fault that it was “something that just happens” refusing to take accountability, then 2 days later was riding along the road and bike shuts off on me, refuses to turn on and then had to be left at a relatives. called up yet again and said “ no this is your fault come and collect this now and sort all this” they then told us that we had to pay “100” for delivery and collection which we reluctantly agreed. then a week later with no communication a guy turned up at yet again 9pm to collect told him would not have it back until all is fixed and have been told what was wrong. then 2 weeks go by hear nothing at all call up and they say they are not sure yet what it is. then another 2 weeks go by and after them saying it was all due to a “loose spark plug” then told me they would not release my motorbike unless i paid £400 for the warranty work as it was the authorised service centres fault this damage had occurred and refusing to release the bike. only then got them to drop the £400 when the threat of lawyers got involved and legal actions was going to take place. then refused to say when it would be delivered as “they had no deliverers near soon” so waited another week and then only heard the day before it was being dropped and then turned up at 7:30pm in the dark again and dropped the bike off whilst collecting £100 for delivery and that whole ordeal took 1 month because of a “ loose sparkplug”.
would never use again, do not recommend tried to scam us out of £400 and ruined a 16 year olds experience and never took fault at any point.

DO NOT BUY FROM POOLE MOTO.

Started well ended badly

Don’t know where to start really! Ordered a brand new royal alloy LC from PooleMoto as it was the only place I could find one in stock. Arranged for delivery great! Couple of days before they rang and said 1 of the panels has a 10cm scratch, Would I be happy if they took £100 off or replace. So I asked them to replace knowing I wanted a brand new bike. Then they said they couldn’t give me a time for delivery. No problem rearranged my day to make sure I was home not expecting it would be delivered at 7pm in the night pitch black! Said to delivery driver any issues when I check in the daylight he said to email! So the following day I checked it over in the daylight. There’s a few chips. So I emailed and stated this. Got told they can’t do anything and warranty wouldn’t cover it! They offered to send me a replacement part but again I haven’t received that more than a week since agreement. The bike also didn’t come with full tank of petrol or liquid cool which I’ve always had on any other new bike. So basically I’ve paid full price for a brand new bike but it’s already devalued due to the marks! If they deliver when it’s dark reject it as you can check the marks probably and the driver just fobs you off!

Unfairly treated

I put a deposit of £200 on a Royal Enfield 411 to be registered on the 1/3/26. I had to cancel the order due to my boiler breaking down and needing a new one.
They charged me £158 for the preparation of the bike that was done to early in my opinion.
I cancelled the order within 14 days of placing the deposit so was entitled to a full refund according to consumer Law.
I'm only getting £42 back apparently but not received it yet.
Won't go back to Poole Moto again that's for sure.

Never pay an advance of £200 or £100

I am writing to formally request a refund of my £200 deposit paid to Poole Moto. My request is based on the following timeline of events:
• Finance Approval: I initially applied for a loan through Moto Finance. I was informed the loan was approved and instructed to pay a £200 deposit to the dealer, Poole Moto, to secure the vehicle.
• Finance Reversal: Following the payment of the deposit, Moto Finance updated my status to "disapproved." Consequently, I was no longer able to proceed with the original purchase.
• Refusal of Service/Refund: I requested that the agent, Luke, either source a comparable bike or provide an alternative that met my requirements. These requests were denied. Instead, I was pressured to accept a bike 10 years older than the original, which was unacceptable.
• Disputed Invoice Terms: The dealer has refused a refund, citing a signed invoice stating that deposits are non-refundable. However, this same document contains a disclaimer stating I had "inspected the bike and confirmed the mileage." This is factually incorrect; I have never seen the bike in person, making the signed statement inaccurate and the contract terms questionable.
Given that the sale could not be completed due to finance failure and the dealer's inability to provide a suitable alternative, I am requesting a full refund of my £200 immediately.

Never again

So bought a moped to get to work last January 2025 they delivered it in the dark upon the morning I noticed it was scratched all over the right side be4 I asked repeatedly for photos of the bike when I left a deposit I mistakenly paid for the bike my mistake as I was desperate for transport and it was delivered to my partner as I was at work looked like it been in an accident

2 or 3 weeks later it went back to Poole moto as has it no fuel sensor and also reported it was cutting in out they had back this cost me £200 as it cost for them to come collect £100 each way this is not covered by there guarantee they never told me what was wrong with it they just did the sensor

1 month later it went to my mechanic who report

1) No pin in the back brakes to hold them in (dangerous)
2) Carb seals needed changing
3) Biggest issue there was a crack inside my exhaust in manifold and it had come away inside which is failure which causes the loud revs & rubbish idling - which I reported before
Screws and bolts missing as well as all head off on the bolts

The bike has been back forth to the my own garage it cost me £609 and still not complete this not including the £200 I payed Poole motos to find the problem when I reported the fuel sensor and said there is a problem with ruff idle which was the exhaust
(They said they Mot the bike )

Although they will find parts for you and you can buy direct from them

My bike spent so much time in the garage it has cost more than the bike between my garage and public transport to get two and from work

They offered to collect the bike and I’d have pay another load of money to have a different bike

Cancelled suspicious motorbike, never refunded me

They sold me classic motorbike which I found out later that it was stripped to frame and rebuilt completely by using after market parts. Never showed this in their description. As soo as I paid the full price they lacked proper communication. I cancelled my order before they shipped it. They never refunded me until today
Unfortunately case it’s about to go to court.
Save your money, Never buy from them. Very dangerous

Will never use this company again

Will never use this company again. My son took his bike in for new sprockets and chain replacement. He got half way home and it all fell apart . Luckily he stayed on the bike. They did pick the bike up and put it right but refuse to give any kind of compensation. Situation could have been a lot worse if he'd have came off. Will be reporting to trading standards as they clearly can't do their job and are dangerous.Their argument was "people do make mistakes". Yes people do but when it comes to not doing up the part you fitted properly which could potentially kill someone . Check your work !!!

Poole Moto sold us a death trap and ruined a 16 year old’s confidence in riding a motorcycle!

Poole Moto sold us a death trap and ruined a 16 year olds birthday present.
I bought a 50CC moped for my grandson’s 16 th birthday which looked very impressive. He took his CBT course on the bike but soon failed as the bike was unfit for purpose. It wouldn’t get up hills as it couldn’t reach 1st or 2nd gears. Two instructors couldn’t get it into gear either . When I phoned Poole Moto I was told the instructors were spinning us a lie and it was in full working order. I asked Poole Moto to collect the bike . Initially they said this was not under the warranty and I should take it somewhere locally. They finally agreed to collect the bike when I said this was the reason I had not bought second hand and paid 2300 for a new one. The bike was collected late on a Saturday night and miraculously already tested by 2 mechanics the following Monday morning at 9am when I received an email saying it was in full working order. I asked for a refund as my grandson had lost all confidence in motorcycles as this had been such an awful experience . However, I was told that as it had done 5 miles, it was no longer new and so they would buy the bike off us. This was ironic as they also said we had not driven it far enough to break the bike in. They wanted to know asap whether we would collect the bike or wanted 1400 for the bike. As we were on holiday at the time, we had little choice other than to agree to the sale . We therefore lost 900 pounds on a brand new bike.

Great for sales. Terrible for Customer Service

I bought a brand new Bluroc X-Bongo from PooleMoto and it stopped working after ten miles. This was not PooleMoto's fault, but it was their responsibility to repair it.

After a WhatsApp video call with the parts / service manager, and given that I live quite some way from Poole, it was agreed that they would supply me with the parts so that the repair could be made local to me. After almost two weeks of emails, WhatsApp messages and promises, PooleMoto have done absolutely nothing to resolve the problem, which requires a £10 part.

Fortunately, the Bluroc importer are superb, and when I spoke to them today, they immediately agreed to supply the part direct to me. Just as well because the alternative would be me returning the bike to PooleMoto for a full refund!

Poor service, overcharge, no communication.

I went to get my bike serviced and to look at buying a new bike at £6500. The service is terrible, my bike was not ready on time wasting an hour travelling there. I tried to call them and got no response, emailed their sales and service, no response. The work on my bike was not done to my request, overcharged for fitting a screw which should have taken 2 minutes and got charged £45 labour. I tried to reach out for any communication after the service and to enquire about a new bike and I've heard nothing back. I will be travelling to another Royal Enfield dealer in Salisbury to buy a new bike.

Just don’t bother go somewhere else.

Just don’t bother go somewhere else.
Bought a bike that was supposed to have an MoT, less than 1mm on rear and front brakes and weeping fork seals.
Avoid a bloke called Steve as he will tell you anything for a sale but has zero customer service.
Please pay a little extra and go to a reputable dealer.

Absolutely terrible experience

Absolutely terrible experience. I took my scooter to Poole Moto for a routine service and MOT. When I went to pick it up, it wouldn't even start. I had already paid them to inspect and fix the issue, and they told me it was the air filter, which they replaced. £400 later, the scooter *still* wouldn't start just kept cutting out unless I revved it madly.

When I pointed this out, the response I got was shocking — they said, *"the service doesn’t require the bike to start."* Seriously? How about the MOT then? Surely a working engine is a basic requirement?

Complete lack of care or responsibility. I felt like they just took my money and made no effort to ensure the bike was actually roadworthy. I highly recommend staying well away from this place if you value your time, money, which they also wanted for me to bring in for a further inspection.
They also had my bike for 3 weeks due to low staff!
