Portasol Wood-burning (pyrography) kit.

I bought the wood-burning (pyrography) Model P-1K Tool kit. Price was good. Ordering online was easy (direct from Portasol). Fast delivery (from Ireland). You get the butane torch (dead easy to use) in a smart hard case, along with seven basic burning tips (think nibs for a fountain pen) and 12 different 'pattern' tips for ready-made decorative work. I already own a Portasol 75 butane gas soldering tool so did not think twice about ordering their pyrography tool & tips set when someone asked me to take on a bit of wood-burning art. I'd recommend this tool unreservedly for it's overall quality, ease-of-use, portability and fabulous range of burning tips. Brilliant.

Great service and trusty product

Great service and trusty product! My soldering Iron wouldn't light at all, and after an easy chat with Portasol (Oisin) via email it turned out it was just an old tip. Replaced it and is working perfectly again.

Soldering iron tips

Website easy to navigate. Plenty of correspondence letting me know the progress of my order. Items ordered arrived as expected, although not used yet will come in handy for fine detail repairs to PCBs as necessary.
