The Catapult Course is great way to start learning about being a freelancer. It contains 8 modules, each focused on different aspects of "running a business" - marketing, branding, sales pipeline, identifying a niche and so on. As someone who recently made the transition from being an employee - where I didn't have to think about all this, this was a very valuable course.

The weekly calls are great - you get to hear from a wide variety of people, who are approaching the problem from a very different angle, so you can learn a lot from them.

The course is very dense, taking several hours per week if you want to do it properly. But you have the option to review the material after it's done, so you can go back and finish what you didn't get around to doing the first time.

The Portfolio Collective provides a friendly home and relevant learning for solo entrepreneurs who are juggling multiple activities and income streams: connection, understanding, support, networks - TPC has it all :-)

I've enjoyed being part of The Portfolio Collective. I've met some great people and can't wait until I can recommend people to the site.

I attended the Catapult course a couple of months ago and I thought it was really excellent.

The team at TPC are knowledgeable, approachable and super-enthusiastic. The course was well planned, scheduling worked perfectly and the participants were guided through each session making it interesting and fun.

I would recommend TPC Catapult to anyone involved in or considering a portfolio career; and here I mean portfolio career in the broadest possible sense: I'm a venture capitalist so although I technically have a "day job" each day is different because each of the companies in my portfolio has its own challenges etc etc.

We used TPC for the matching service as we had a critical project that needed a very specific skill set. And the team absolutely delivered.

Ben and Rohan were diligent in understanding our requirement and moved at pace to make the match.

I cannot recommend the service enough.

I found this course a huge help when I started my new architecture business and more recently my craft brand.
The course has a broad range of subjects that cover just about everything you would need to know when embarking on a portfolio career or starting a business.
The other bits can be gleaned from follow-up masterclasses, community catch-ups, speed networking and of course the wider community, which includes members from many industries and countries.
I would never have had the courage nor information to chose my new path without TPC. Ben and his great team really want to give you the best chance of success, whatever that may be.
Even if you are sticking to full-time employment or just need get a more rounded set if business skills, the course will give you a major foot-up.
You need to be ready to commit enough time to handle the volume of 'gold-dust' that you will collect from the catapult course but I highly recommend it, as well as joining TPC. Helpfully, the modules are there for revisiting online when needed. I continue to attend regular events to catch-up with the community.

I took part in the course, and it was amazing. Now I am still participating in the community get together and it is grat both for learning new things and connecting to interesting people.

This is what you get when two amazing brands come together = a power mastercourse! I knew it would be great even before I attended but it exceeded my expectations. Very approachable, great fun, learned a lot, met amazing new professionals, and mainly was able to apply my learnings immediately!

The Portfolio Collective have been an absolutely invaluable resource and community for me, since I signed up as a Founding Member back when they started. I've now taken part in the inaugural Catapult Course, the Branding Masterclass and regularly attend the Fireside chats. All of which have been full of insight, fascinating people and a great way to learn about successfully managing a portfolio career. As someone with a lot of ideas and interests, it was incredibly helpful to have the framework and accountability of the Catapult Course to pull everything together. It's a great group of people and each time I interact with TPC I learn something new. Cannot recommend enough if you're looking for ways to start and build a portfolio career and meet other people, with a huge variety of backgrounds/sectors/interests, who are doing the same!

Their Catapult Course is a small business framework, self-reflection tool, and coaching method all packed into one while giving cohorts access to an engaged, skilled, and genuinely caring community. This course will save you soooo much time!!!! Not only does it take you through all aspects of starting a business, but gives you access to at least 2x a week feedback on your latest progress, ideas and thoughts. Being an entrepreneur, sole trader, individual starting a portfolio career is a lonely business ... this course makes you focus, get feedback and start selling ASAP. Great value ... great instructors and peers ... and a great community to be part of forever!
