Good company to work with, had a glitch with out order and the quickly made it right.

I placed an order for a backpack on Oct. 3 and received the order confirmation immediately stating that I will hear from Portmantos when the item is shipped. I waited until Oct. 15 without hearing from them. I sent them an email inquiring about the order status. 1 day after, on Oct. 16 that I got an email saying sorry that the item I ordered was damaged and since it was the last one, they could only send me a different one with different colors. However they didn't give me a link to the new ones so I can view and decide to take them or not. I replied right away with the request to send me the link to the items in stock. Today is Oct. 17 and I haven't heard back from them.
How can a business take 13 days to find that the item ordered was damaged? How can they not contact the customer sooner than that, regardless of reason? How can they take that long to respond to customer's inquiry/request? I think this is the first and the last time I buy anything from this store.

Love my luggage set purchased w/ ease! Delivery was earlier than anticipated. Purchased 2 more as gifts!

Very poor company. I ordered a $215 piece of luggage by 2 day shipping. I received no communication, but 5 days later, I received a red $10 neck pillow and was billed $215. I immediately returned the wrong item sent and canceled my order. I then left for my 2 week trip (for which I had ordered that luggage). When I got back, apparently Portmantos decided to ship something else to me and it sat waiting at the post office for over two weeks before I went there and refused it. They continue to refuse to refund my $215, despite all this mess. It has now been over a month and they continue to say they are waiting for something. What?? Very unreliable.

Called before purchasing online to make sure that it was the correct product. The woman on the phone was kind to look it up in her system to confirm. Once I placed the order, it got shipped the very next day, and received the product within two days from fedex!

I think tracking information should be sent automatically, and even though I set up an account online my order was not in there so I could not track it that way either. However, they have been super helpful on the phone and the item I purchased arrived and I love it. Thank you.

Never heard of this company prior to this purchase, but they a color of backpack I wanted that Eagle Creek itself didn’t have. Service was great, shipping fast, I will use them again.

Bag arrived with loose stitching which I noticed on first pack. I was told they didn't offer any help or refund after it was used. Just not helpful at all

I received my order quickly, and am pleased with the suitcase. I chose this company because of the possibility of needing future customer service. And I prefer to support real businesses and not just merchandise warehouses. I would gladly recommend this company, which also offers certain colors and items not available elsewhere.
