Portugal Personal Fixer Reviews

Carolina and her team are excellent in solving any issue! I'd problems with my utilities and they solve it almost immediately! I'd doubts about my taxes here in Portugal and they were there to get all my answers! I can recommend them enough!

We had a great experience with Portugal Personal fixer. We end up hiring a similar company from overseas to help us move to Portugal and charged us so much and made promises and did not follow to the service. Tainah saved us and completed the job they lacked and not only that offered so much support during this challenging moving process.

I can't imagine day to day life here without Portugal Personal Fixer - as an expat, they've helped me navigate some really complex situations with so much more ease, peace, and efficiency. The team has my back in a very real way and always over delivers with a positive, can-do attitude. From legal to apt hunting to planning events to everyday tasks, PPF has become my right hand these past 3 years. I've recommended them to dozens of friends, all to rave reviews. 11/10

The most reliable, accountable and responsive platform to take care of all my needs. From travel plans, to assisting with all my appointments in a transparent and extremely service oriented way has made my experience of arriving to my new home in Lisbon both seamless and extremely enjoyable.
Beyond grateful to have met Carolina and her Team.

The Portugal Personal Fixer team is amazing. They helped us prepare for our first AIMA appointment to submit our paperwork for our Resident Permit. They also accompanied us to the Odivelas office on three separate occasions and ensured those visits resulted in what we needed. I cannot imagine having gotten through this process without them. The process was practically stress free with their help. They really know their business and are amazing human beings to boot! We are so glad we invested in this service - so worth it!

I used Portugal Personal Fixer to assist me with my private medical insurance. As an American who does not yet know enough Portuguese to communicate or understand well enough to navigate something as complicated as health care, Portugal Personal Fixer was invaluable in helping me set it up. Their team member speaks both English and Portuguese fluently and sat with me as we got my insurance sorted out over the phone with a representative from Multicare. They walked me through the entire process, including scheduling initial doctor appointments. They were very patient, and it was extremely reassuring to know that I could rely on their expertise and professionalism. Adjusting to life in a new country and a new language is stressful, but having the support of Portuguese Personal Fixer makes the adjustment easier. I am very grateful to the whole team, and highly recommend their services to anyone needing support in getting established here.

Helped me massively reduce parking fines, negotiate on my behalf and help me file for insurance after an accident that required surgery. My only regret it not finding them sooner!! I had procrastinated for MONTHSSSS on things that they were able to sort out for me within days. Such peace of mind. Very professional. VERY grateful. Saved me so much time and energy and emotional turmoil of navigating a foreign system in a foreign language. Thank you so much! 🙏

Carolina and her team have helped me on a number of matters that have saved me countless hours and a lot of money. They are always quick and efficient and lovely people to work with. I have referred them to many people, all with the same feedback.

Carolina is excellent. Very responsive, efficient and warm. Can highly recommend.

I am very pleased to recommend Carolina Matos and portugal personal fixer. Over the past year Carolina has been an enormous help to my wife, my family and me as we have established our life in Portugal, both in Lisbon and at our country house in Santo Estêvão.

Living in Portugal as a foreigner is wonderful in many ways. The food is beautiful, the weather is beautiful and the country itself is extraordinary. However navigating daily life here can also be surprisingly challenging. For those coming from places like the United States or Asia the bureaucracy and the practical realities of getting things done can be difficult and often require persistence and personal follow up.

Carolina has been exceptional in helping us manage these challenges. A simple example illustrates this perfectly. For quite some time I had been struggling with the retractable bollard that controls vehicle access to my street in Chiado. It sounds like a small issue but it became a constant and frustrating problem. Carolina personally went to the relevant municipal office not once but twice, standing in line for most of the day on each occasion until the matter was properly addressed and resolved once and for all.

That moment speaks volumes about who she is. Carolina is a problem solver. She is proactive, industrious and determined to see things through. She understands that many matters in Portugal require personal attention and patience and she handles them with both professionalism and persistence.

Throughout the past year she has been nothing short of brilliant in everything she has done for us. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Very professional and goal oriented team that solves my problems without me being in involved. Highly recommended.

Super efficient, responsive and took care of things with almost nothing required from me.

Carolina made the whole move to Portugal so much easier for me with a professional and friendly, can-do approach that made a huge difference to the logistics of moving here. dealing with the relevant services, landlord and just allowing the settling in-process to be so much smoother. Her excellent Portuguese and English are a great benefit.

Highly recommended!

The best experience. Both with pressing needs and all the ongoing attention needed for life here in Portugal. Caro has resolved needs from all aspects of life here that would have required a great amount of time and energy otherwise. And done it with a level of professionalism and execution that goes above and beyond.
