Helpful and friendly instructor. Small group lessons with good mood.

Best experience EVER! Despite my struggles with bending my knees 🤣, 3 days that we had were full of fun and enjoyment, guys are so cool and know what they’re doing, keep going!⭐️

Tamer was amazing. So enthusiastic and took the time to explain the theory, beyond just how to stand up. I made much more progress with him than I ever have in a lesson. He had all our equipment prepared and the right size and excellent quality beforehand. Highly recommend!

Tamer was an awesome coach! He made sure to come over in between waves and explain things really clearly to help you improve!

For us, as a family of four (sons 14 and 11) on our first ever series of surfing lessons, Tamer (Poseidon owner) managed to tick all the boxes we were looking for:
- Drive and motivation to get us to increase our skill wave after wave
- A great mix of serious advice and good fun and humor
- Sincere enthusiasm each time one of us improved
- Sharp eye for keeping us safe - we never once felt uneasy
- Very rapid and easy communication

Our holiday in Fuerteventura was fantastic, and you played a big part in that.

I'd especially like to highlight four things:

1. Your action cam, which you attach to the front of the surfboard, takes amazing footage, and these are wonderful memories for us.

2. The early surfing slot (8 a.m. catching the waves) is great because there was no one else on the beach at that time, and we had the ocean all to ourselves.

3. The small group sizes you teach make the time twice as valuable!

4. You're excellent at conveying information to your students. My daughter, in particular, learned so much! Thank you for that!

We're already looking forward to coming back.

I’ve had my excellent surf coaching at Poseidon Surf Academy before so have returned for the second time for a block of 5 lessons. The personalised tuition from Tamer was fantastic and he helped me improve on my weaknesses in surfing. Tamer made the experience very fun and enjoyable without losing focus on improving our skills. I had plenty of practice in the surf spot as the waves were constant throughout the sessions. All equipment provided was of high quality. The spot was great fun and not too intimidating. I’m an improver so I was happy to practice on smaller waves and tried to practice techniques as much as I could on them.
Every lesson had been great fun and I took home cool pictures and videos captured from each lesson.
Corralejo is the perfect place for me to visit for some Winter Sun every year so I’m sure I will make Poseidon Surf Academy my regular surf fixture!

Tamer, Charlie and Lucas are the best teachers in town to learn how to surf and make the whole experience exciting and fun. The lesson starts with a bit of theory and practice on the beach and then shifts to the sea. They always look after you if needed and encourage you to try and do better. We have done two days in a row and we’ve been really happy about the results.

Brilliant experience surfing with Poseidon Surf Academy. Great teaching tailored to the needs of the individual students, at spots that were selected for the conditions and skill level on the day. The whole experience from booking back home in the UK, through being collected at the hotel to the actual sessions themselves was perfect. Tamer is thorough and takes care to help you learn and enjoy your surfing. All of us - 16 yo son, husband and I both in our 50s - had a great time and we would not hesitate to book again.

It was a true pleasure to have lessons in Poseidon Surf Academy. The coaches are very dedicated and you can see the passion to teach. It was fun and I could see the progress after only 2 lessons. For sure I will come back to learn more with them! Thank you 🫶🏻
