Once upon a time this was great

Once upon a time this was great software. However, with each 'upgrade' it has gotten worse and worse. The number of glitches that are now present, makes the use of this product a pain in the a_s!

Ever since I paid for the extra 'game dev' feature in Poser Pro 2014, and subsequently after upgrading to Poser 11, I spend more time waiting for the spinning beach ball to stop so I can do some work, and repeatedly restarting the app, than I do actually accomplishing any results.

Since the first 'upgrade' I have reached out to their customer support many, many times. The company has changed hands twice since I bought it, and each time the 'support' starts to act like it actually might be supportive, and find a solution, but as soon as we get to the problem, and they realize they can't (or won't) do anything, they just ignore me.

The problems are too many, and too technical to list here. But I have exhausted efforts to get them to fix the problems.

I give it two stars, because if it actually worked as it should, I would give it 5. But as it is, it really doesn't deserve any stars.

It is a shame that these people take advantage of users because they have a monopoly on the market. There are other programs, not nearly as user friendly (not counting the glitches in Poser,) but they are incredibly expensive, -or too difficult to learn to use, and out of reach for most people except for the industry professionals who use them for CGI in Hollywood productions.

They have recently upgraded once again to Poser 12, but I would be a fool to do that since they refuse to address the serious issues with their previous versions. Why would I throw hundreds of dollars at a company that won't fix their software?

It's a gamble, and for me I lost.
