I’ve just been gifted the vegan scones. I’ve been dairy free for some time and I have to say I had to check the box and the ‘not clotted cream’ to check it was actually vegan because everything tasted SO GOOD!

I had ordered the mixed tart pack and brownies they was absolutely amazing, I just love the fact that they are safe for my whole families needs and no need to worry about my 3 year old getting hold of something she shouldn't. I had a little bit of a mix up with my 1st order and customer service was so helpful changing my delivery.

Got the 25 brownie/blonde box using a buy a gift voucher. They arrived in a large box with a very small box inside, not sure why but a waste of packaging and postage.
These are described as brownies but they are teeny little squares. Usually described as a brownie bite elsewhere at a fraction of the cost. You can buy the same sort of size in a supermarket for about £3.
Supposed to be 5 flavours but they all taste of nothingness with a sprinkle of disappointment. Absolute rip off for the price, I'd have been disappointed if I'd paid £10 never mind £35.

I received the 25 brownie selection box as a gift and, being a brownie lover, was very excited!
I was initially disappointed that the box I received contained a box half its size inside!
The brownies themselves are 'bite-size' and much smaller than expected.
As for the taste...I couldn't distinguish any of the flavours these claimed to be and they were stodgy and left me feeling rather bloated and heavy after eating just one.

I loved the idea of these brownies, but I'm seriously disappointed with the reality.

I ordered a box of small cakes for a family party where I had vegan guests, and a guest with coeliac disease. The cakes were not just perfect to meet all their requirements, they also tasted lovely too and I'll definitely order again. I initially sent an email asking for confirmation of delivery details and being gluten free and got quick, friendly and helpful responses so great customer service too. Highly recommended!

I bought their £6.49 lemon cake from Wholefoods.

It was truly dreadful. No lemon flavour was evident. The texture was dry and chewy. To add insult to injury the company didn't bother to reply to my email telling them about my experience. I returned the item to Wholefoods who refunded me and I will never buy any of their products again.

I ordered a big box of variety bakes to the US for my husband's birthday. The box was sent out the next morning, but the delivery company did not follow up on their promise for an express shipment and it took 5 days to arrive, by then all of it was spoiled. I contacted the company and they apologize (though it was definitely not their fault), and sent out another box immediately with no questions asked. This one arrived just on time (less than 2 days, as promised). It was all packaged so nicely and neatly! My husband was thrilled! We loved it so much. We took everything with us to a small picnic, and took a bite off of everything. It was absolutely delicious (and SOOOO sweet! take some water with you). We really loved it, it was so unique an awesome, especially being all vegan. Thanks so much!

Ordered a letter box cake set for a coeliac employee. It arrived on time and packaged neatly as a gift. Glowing review from the employee also. Great gift idea

I really like the idea and support the concept but unfortunately we didn't like anything that we ordered.

The "clotted cream" was exactly like what you'd get if you whisked up Flora with a ton of sugar. It went in the bin.

The scones were very small, dense, and not pleasant to eat (also went in the bin). 

The tarts were very disappointing, most had a soft paste-y filling with a slightly soggy base. The savoury ones were very bland tasting.

The brownie was not bad but very salty.

The banana bread was the best of what we ordered, but was still only OK and did not feel like a special treat. 

And everything was tiny. You think you have an idea that it would be on the small side but until you've experienced it, you can't appreciate just how miniscule it all is.

Plus, the order didn't arrive on time.

For fairness, note that I sent these exact same points to Positive Bakes ten days ago and they didn't reply.

My daughter has recently diagnosed with coeliac disease and I wanted to get her something special for her 10th birthday. The 1st problem I had was pre ordering the cakes and that they don't deliver on a Monday-which was the day of my daughter's birthday. Which meant I had to order it to be delivered either 3 days before, pay extra and still have it 2 days before or after her birthday. I chose to give it to her early (bit odd having birthday cake 3 days before actual birthday). Also, VERY expensive when I tried to use a 15% off offer code it didn't work (their error confirmed in a standard email a day after ordering) so had to trawl the Internet and found a 10% offer which I used. I asked them in my order if there was and possibly of delivering on the Monday and about the discount code a had no response. The cakes were good but still over priced and dry and inedible after 2 days. Would not recommend

Ordered as a gift for my partner who can't have dairy or soy. The bakes were okay, nothing special, especially not for the premium price tag! Not impressed that they all arrived wet as if they had been packaged while still hot.

I've been looking for amazing fruit scones (obviously gluten free) since I had great ones at my wedding 2.5 years ago.
I've tried all the supermarkets, and a couple of GF online providers.
Positive Bakes scones are FANTASTIC. So so worth every penny. Also, the service is first class. Lovely people.
All gluten free is a bit more expensive, most not particularly worth it, but there scones are LOVE!!!

Thankfully got a box of brownies worth £40 via a buyagift.com voucher; if I'd paid that myself for what I got then I think I'd have been asking for a refund.

A massive box arrived, which upon opening had a much smaller box inside. I don't know why it was packaged this way but it felt like false advertising.

The brownies themselves were small and looked quite good but it was absolutely impossible to tell which was which, so even though there was a list of ingredients for each flavour, you'd have no way of telling what you were eating.

On that note, very few of them actually tasted distinct. The blondies were OK but the brownies all tasted exactly the same. Apparently there was pecan and caramel, sticky toffee, classic, salted caramel and mocha. Nope, all just vaguely chocolatey. On top of that, they were ALL very sugary and, by the day after they'd arrived, they'd started to go dry.

I genuinely can't believe the cost of the box compared to the quality what was delivered. Wouldn't ever buy from here.

I ordered the afternoon tea pack for 1-2 people. It arrived on the right day and I was so excited to open the box. I was surprised to find another box inside, half the size. I opened that and have to admit I was disappointed at how small everything was. We had the items as part of a coronation picnic this afternoon and most of the items are still on the stand. The clotted cream substitute is unedible and has a strange artificial taste. The brownies are stodgy and borderline edible and do not taste of salted caramel at all. The bakewell again tastes artificial and sweet. Finally the scones are tiny and stodgy. I have wavered for a while over spending £30+ on the box but thought it was worth it for a special occasion. It wasn’t and if I’d been served this in a restaurant I wouldn’t have paid. I wish I’d paid more attention to the negative reviews on here and Google as they were spot on. I believe that coeliacs have as much right to well baked goods as people without any dietary restrictions, but finding those well baked goods are hard to find. I will go back to baking myself next time. I won’t be ordering from Positive Bakes again, as the experience was anything but positive.

I ordered a coronation pack for 2. Disappointed again….The quiche is 45g…more like a pill, you can swallow it hole ! The scones…same!! Can you be more specific when you advertise and inform people of how small/ big these items are. This is not at all a pack for lunch as advertised ( and it wasn’t cheap at all) as you have 1 tiny quiche & lots of sweets/ person. The largest item is actually the clotted cream 😀 I will never order again

I bought the 6 cakes birthday package. Upon delivery, I was very disappointed. The cakes were A LOT smaller than expected (1 cake = 1 slice) and I feel for this size, it is not worth the price. Although, I have tasted one so far and this has provided some redemption. Was moist, fluffy and sweet.

I ordered the family afternoon tea hamper and it was amazing! Catered for all our dietary needs and the food was great quality. Had great customer service and the company answered my emails promptly. Very impressed and definitely will be ordering something else very soon! Can’t recommend enough

I paid almost £50 for a box of brownies and blondies and a box of assorted cakes. There were such amazing reviews on Facebook. Well, the verdict is that these were a selection of vile tasting cakes and brownies. I can't imagine what flavorings they are using. They couldn't even get the banana nut cake to taste good. I have eaten vegan gf cakes before that were delicious. These are simply awful in texture and taste and I feel cheated. I bought them for my vegan, gluten intolerant daughter as a treat, and honestly, I was embarrassed. The decoration looks lovely, but the eating experience was bad.
Positive Bakes, you need to change the gf flour you are using, and go for natural flavourings.
