Complete waste of time

When the Royal Mail made a series of clerical errors and failed to deliver an international parcel to us (which our postlady traced and delivered once we had described the delivery office's error to her) and one of their Sunday Parcel Force delivery staff left parcels for us which weren't addressed to us, when I tried to resolve the errors the local delivery office told our postlady that we had lodged a complaint against her. I phoned them to complain but after a series of phone calls totalling over 2 hours during which they demonstrated disinterest and incompetence, I submitted a formal complaint via their online form. A series of emails followed where they repeatedly ignored the questions I was asking so I passed the case on to POSTRS. They proceeded to decline to read my complaint and repeatedly told me to report the international package to the sender as lost. When I eventually persuaded POSTRS to read the complaint they reported that they were unable to do anything and too much time had elapsed since I had reported the issues.

There seems to be little reason for them to exist when they primarily earn wages from causing inconvenience and failing to achieve anything that is constructive.

£35 SMALL CLAIMS COURT - BETTER THAN GOING TO POSTRS

Well another case against the Royal Mail and another cover up by the Corrupt POSTRS supposed Ombudsman service , was told the Consumer Law does not apply to Royal Mail and they can do what they want , and the Word Guaranteed Next Day Delivery does not mean an item is Guaranteed to arrive the next day , it takes as long as it takes - yes my 3 where all late , one 6 days - NO WONDER ROYAL MAIL are in such a state with an Ombudsman who is paid by Royal Mail so can never be impartial.
ANYWAY LONG STORY SHORT ITS ONLY £35 NOW FOR A SMALL CLAIMS COURT CLAIM AGAINST THEM - JUST DO FORM ONLINE and sit back and wait.

I would give zero stars if I had a choice, this organisation is NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE! They break and breach their own jurisdiction in data breaches & Data Protection laws! They side with the incompetence of the Royal Mail Services! That quiet frankly, is very substandard when it comes to protecting people's personal data! I would not waste your time with this organisation. You have more chance with an Auditor then these substandard jobs worths!

Royal Mail's official Fob-Off agents

I escalated a complaint about Royal Mail to POSTRS after a parade of fob-offs and lies from Royal Mail, and then the intermediary complaints service Postal Review Panel failed to grasp the nature of my complaint.

POSTRS appears to have been set up as Royal Mail's official fob-off department. However bone-idle, arrogant, or incompetent Royal Mail is, the response from POSTRS will be wooden and perfunctory; delivered by a corpse-eyed bureaucrat who has been tasked to do everything they can to cover-up for Royal Mail. In my case, POSTRS achieved this by putting words into my mouth - claiming that I had been demanding an apology from Royal Mail, and that none was required - therefore they rejected my complaint. They then closed off the process by refusing to enter into any discussion of it. That was quite convenient for them, as I would have challenged POSTRS to find even a single instance of me asking for an apology. What I asked for throughout was an EXPLANATION of why Royal Mail had failed to comply with an instruction sent to a delivery office by its own Customer Services department. POSTRS appear to have decided that the only way to get Royal Mail off the hook in this instance was to put words into my mouth (pretending that I had asked for an apology), and then find that "no apology is required, so we find against the complaint."

Royal Mail's standard excuse for all of its many and varied failures is that it "doesn't guarantee" any particular service. By now its customers are well-aware that the only thing Royal Mail actually guarantees is to take its customers' money. It can do this secure in the knowledge that it's protected by the swaying façade of a body charged with scrutinising its behaviours; a body whose motto in respect of Royal Mail should be "We've got your back." Once a ratbag organisation like Royal Mail understands it's being policed by a servile, gutless agent staffed in the main by clueless drones and rubber-spined windsocks, anything goes. The sooner both of these wretched, useless organisations are bulldozed to the ground the better. Perhaps then we can start again with some professional services instead of the bunch of vacant invertebrates we have at present.

I rely on Royal Mail to deliver my medication from an online pharmacy.
They have failed to deliver. They prefer to lie rather than find solutions to a failed system. I have tried to be nice with them about the desperate situation they have put me in.
Please tell me how I can impact this awful organisation. They are no longer welcome on my property to carry out the awful service they provide. This is a warning. Stay away.

Absolute clowns

Absolute clowns - crap show. Closed my case without addressing the complaint - requested pictures which were sent but because file size too large couldn't accept. Didn;t give me a chance to provide evidence any other way - these guys are stuck in a time warp. Useless... I believed them to be independent - they are not, what a waste of time. Off to small claims track.

Total waste of time contacting these clowns! After waiting for 4 months my appeal has just been rejected which seems ridiculous considering this is a very cut and dry case - the (temporary/agency) postman claimed to have delivered a large parcel to me however I was at work at the time so the house was empty and he couldn't have put through the letterbox or hand over to me! He didn't follow any protocol i.e. leave in my safe place; with a neighbour or return to depot - he even failed to leave a card!

Waste of time contacting them

Waste of time contacting them. Raised a complaint about Royal Mail's persistent failure to deliver to me on time, with evidence about one weekly item in particular.

They sided with Royal Mail, ignored part of my case and closed my case without bothering to inform me.

As they are clearly on Royal Mail's side who looks after the consumer ?

The post office review panel requires investigation after sending off the postage stamps to be updated for the new bar-coded ones. I got paid for some not all the stamps. They say they were either counterfeit or used. I explained that all my stamps are purchased from the Post Office online shop. They say they investigated my complaint. They also refuse to return my stamps so that I can see for myself. The post office has falsely accused me of fraud; it appears I have no choice but to let it go. They are a law unto themselves.

Patronising and condescending. Don't bother.

Don't waste your time. Royal Mail messed me about for months (while the boss got £6m for two years work). The POSTRS solicitor thought £30 and a few stamps was more than adequate for all the time, hassle and lost letters. I wonder how much of his time £30 buys?

No help at all

These people are as far from independent as you can get. They will ALWAYS side with the company and not you.

Having your post dumped and stolen? Reported it god knows how many times?

CEDR don't care, they still back Royal Mail.

They are a massive part of the problem, not a solution.

Royal mail & Postrs useless

Royal Mail, Going from bad to worse, so much mail is going missing, you can no longer trust this once great British service. So many items now take over THREE months to arrive, causing endless ongoing problems, not to mention mail returned to sender overseas, as not found, even with the correct postcode etc. So when I could take no more, complained to Royal mail, no help, Postrs no help, then the Postal Review Panel, total waste of time, they replied by letter in April 2016, when did the letter arrive? in July 2016, even then, said that they had no idea what was happening, and could not help !!!! (what help) no further, now I am told I have to write to Postrs, who I had already contacted, and were no help either.
