The only fish dish my toddler will eat?
My toddler absolutely loves the fruit muffins but his favourite must be the fisj curry: at only 9m he would already eat the whole pot.
As a full-time working grandma—and a Food Tech and Science teacher—I’m always on the lookout for healthy, time-saving food options for my 18-month-old granddaughter, who stays with me every Friday night while my beautiful daughter works.
After coming across Pots for Tots on TikTok (and a few other options), I decided to do a bit of investigating. I loved that it was the brainchild of a working mum who truly understands the challenge of finding nutritious meals for a smaller, more discerning palate. Knowing the meals are developed with the support of a qualified children’s dietitian gave me real confidence that Isobelle would be getting something genuinely balanced and nourishing.
Sustainability is also something I care deeply about—especially with growing concerns around microplastics—so I was really pleased to see that the meals come in cardboard packaging, with fully recyclable delivery materials.
Ordering was simple and enjoyable. I had a good browse through the website and was genuinely spoilt for choice. There’s an introductory bundle as well as a “build your own box” option, plus a great range of snacks. I opted for the introductory bundle with 8 meals, which offered a nice mix for both meat lovers and vegetarians.
To say that Isobelle loved them is an understatement. Mac and cheese is always a favourite in our house, but she especially enjoyed the Mediterranean Veg Orzo and the Sweet Potato Curry.
If you’re looking for a quick, time-saving alternative to cooking from scratch—without compromising on quality or nutrition—I can’t recommend Pots for Tots enough.
I’ll definitely be ordering again, and next time I’m looking forward to building my own box and trying some of the snacks too.

Great food, and care about service. The food is all really good quality, and goes down well! After an issue about a missed delivery they went above and beyond to address the issue promptly.
Loooove this, such great quality good, good size portions and I like that the meals aren’t packaged in plastic.
I bought these meals possibly a tad too early for my son at just 12 months and he didn’t like the texture, however at 15 months he now absolutely loves them. There are baby smooth firsts meal options now which would suit younger babies. It’s also a weight off knowing he is having a healthy meal with vegetables in when I’m not able to cook myself. The only small issue as others have stated is it would be good if the meal options changed quarterly with new meals added to the regular choices. Great meals thank you.
Delivery came quick, however the food was a big let down for us. Very un flavourful & my daughter ate hardly any of what came in the starter pack, spitting it out. Was a waste of money for us.

Fab meals and service!
It would be useful to have a bugger potion option for larger appetites!
Food, delivery, packaging is all brilliant.

Would get 5 stars if they changed the selection up a bit more.
When you a loyal customer the food choices get a bit boring, especially when you want your little ones to be trying different flavours.

Pots for Tots have been so helpful in making sure my 1yr old has varied and healthy meals conveniently whilst I go back to work. It’s great to get the 1 hour time slot so you know when they’ll be delivered. The meals themselves are tasty and are a good size. Easy to manage deliveries and easy to change/skip deliveries when you need to. My only criticism is I think my daughter has started to need a little bit more in the portions.
Absolutely love pots for tots for those evenings where you don’t have time to prepare a nutritious home cooked meal for your little ones. They have been a lifesaver from weaning my 10 month old onto foods with more texture to feeding my 3 year old a guilt free quick meal. 10/10!
These meals saved dinner time in our household! I was dreading meal times with a fussy toddler and spending time I really didn’t have preparing meals that just ended up on the floor or being wasted (I’m not the best cook). I was exhausted and disheartened. I found Pots For Tots after previously using a similar service for my first child. The meals are tasty, great quality and they have a wide selection that includes seasonal recipes so my kids don’t get bored of the same food and they get to explore new flavours. Healthy snacks is the one thing I can actually cook but if you’re not up for that Pots For Tots also supply finger foods for snacks/weaning which is amazing. They also don’t have the bizarre extra ingredients or additives you find with mass-produced meals from the supermarket so it’s one less thing for me to worry about as a parent. I recommend this service to all the parents I come across and liken it to paying a friend to make and deliver meals for the kids.
Social media puts so much pressure on mums to prepare all their children’s food from scratch and often that’s not possible or it comes at a cost (financially or emotionally). With Pots For Tots I’m WAY less stressed and anxious about meal times and I know my kids are happier for it (not to mention well-fed!) Thank you
I've been using Pots for Tots for a few months now. I find there's a great variety of meals which are all healthy and tasty. If my little one leaves any I always finish it off and it's delicious! Wish they did adult versions! Love the convenience and feel they are good value for money.
Very high quality baby meals, very convenient too I have recommended to all my Mum friends.
sadly had an issue with DPD and a damaged box - I am sure this was not PFT fault, however they have said they will rectify this so I am not out of pocket.

The meals themselves tasted great and my son genuinely enjoyed them. I liked the convenience and the idea of fresh, healthy meals for busy days, and up until this point I had been happy with the service.
Unfortunately, I found a long, sharp fish bone in one of the fish meals intended for my 11-month-old baby. Had I not spotted it in time, this could have resulted in choking or serious injury. While the company did refund the meal and apologise, this incident has significantly affected my confidence in feeding these meals to my child.
I understand that bones can occasionally occur in fish products, but when a meal is specifically marketed for babies, the expectation around safety is understandably much higher.
It’s a real shame, as the food itself was good, but for me, safety has to come first and I no longer feel comfortable continuing to order.

Pots for Tots offers a great variety of meals in set portion sizes which are both convenient and healthy, I like know that the ingredients inside each pot is something that I have at home, nothing artificial. They are quick to cook and our children really enjoy them - especially as the meat is cut up into much smaller chunks for our SEN child who would otherwise spit it out.
The new beef ragu is a firm favourite and the cottage put bites which are great when adding a side of veg.

I’ve used this company on and off for over 3 years. I love the range and it’s great to know my son is getting something healthy with no nasties.
It’s so convenient as I work full time and some evenings I need something simple.

Good quality kids meals and easy to make. Had an issue with DPD delivering the first box I ordered and Pots for Tots was quick to rectify this even though it was DPD at fault.
