Daniel was awesome to deal with. I wanted to convert my 28 speed full suspension bike to an e-bike. Daniel spent a ton of time with me explaining everything, answering my questions, allowed me to try his personal bike, and gave me a good deal. The conversion went well and he was quick to answer any additional questions I had during the conversion. I am very happy with my ebike and would highly recommend PowerBike Canada. A++
This is a small part time operation, I have purchased several ebike kits from him (one man show), the last one doesn’t work and I am stuck with some very expensive trash...he is fine to deal with until there is a problem, he does not have the will or resources to fix problems. There are much better dealers out there.
I wish I’d never dealt with this hack. Doesn’t answer questions directly...why, because he’s not telling the truth. Worse than a used car salesman. Purchased a waterproof kit and install. Instead he used a standard kit and spliced the battery wires and crudely put them back together using 2 different wires and household electrical nuts. No junctions were even waterproofed using shrink wrap and no soldering done which would be the proper way. Totally unsafe and dangerous if I had ever gotten it wet. Also put holes in the bike used when knowing I planned to switch the kit later. Thus ruining my original bike. Couldn’t even just sell it since I’d be responsible for selling something unsafe and I can’t do that. When I confronted him about the extent of it and asked for replacements he ignored messages. Then when I found someone to fix it he refused to pay for it. He said his install “worked fine”...having wires touch makes it work, doesn’t mean it was done properly or safely which is what you pay someone to do. He has no regard for the safety of his customers or the quality of his work.
