Hannah did an amazing job looking after me and my three kids. She took the time to understand our needs and organised a suitable membership package for us. The kids are loving BJJ, MMA and Boxing. They also love the equipment at the gym. Great staff. Great coaches. Great gym. We are fortunate to have this facility on the Gold Coast in such an accesable location.

Powerhouse mt gravatt

Powerhouse mt gravatt - When we signed up, we were promised 30-40 classes upon open date, with a promise that there would be up to 60 classes available (this was plastered all over social media aswell). Only recently have they increased their classes to approx 35 classes (in the last few weeks). Due to Powerhouse having over promised, and severely under delivered my mum and i have been unable to get into classes using the app, having to call and complain each time and the receptionist having to book us for future classes that cant be seen on the app. Great that they can book us in, but it shouldnt be so difficult and we shouldnt have to call each and every time to complain its not a nice feeling as a consumer. This was NEVER a problem at Total fusion - they only had one reformer class room and i had never had an issue getting into a class. Now, my mother and I have decided to cancel our membership and have been informed that we have to pay $350 per person REGARDLESS of the fact that Powerhouse has not been able to deliver on their end of the contract since they opened. We will be taking it further to the office of fair trade and go from there but I urge anyone thinking of signing up to this gym LOOK AT OTHER OPTIONS because its not worth the money or the headache.

Excellent Yoga experience..

I have been a member of the gym when it was Club Fitness...Powerhouse gym offers the same initiative programs plus MUCH more....The bottom line is, it's great place to exercise...Today I experience a new Yoga program, not like any other...The instructor was low keyed, informative, excellent ..I left feeling my inner self was more relaxed, calmer. I highly recommend anyone who wants to stress down take the class on Sat...

Predators! Scammers! Warning!!

Predators, scammers and fraudsters!!!

They hook you in, like every other gym, except in this one when you try to cancel, they become aggressive and threatening. I haven’t been in that garbage gym since Aug 2022 because I don’t spend a lot of time in this country anymore. In january 2023 I called to have my membership cancelled; I would’ve happily paid an admin fee or cancellation fee, but the employee AND the manager on the phone flat out refused to even have a conversation about it. Customer service eh?

This place is a joke. They have sent my file to collections, which is harassing me every day. Do NOT trust this gym; do NOT sign up here. This is why ppl go to LA Fitness and Goodlife; the big guys have a proven track record. Not like this shady, small and overcrowded gym with terrible hours and extremely poor ventilation lol. These guys and all of their staff are a joke.

I will be seeking legal action and if anyone is interested in discussing a class action lawsuit, please reach out to me on this site and we can go from there.

Horrible service

Horrible service! I will be seeking legal help. I signed up in early January, you can’t cancel your membership for 12 months ($42 an month) unless you move 25 miles away or get a doctors note that you can’t workout for 6 months. In February I got a job transfer to New York. I brought my Con Edison (electric company) confirmation of my new address so I can cancel my membership. First they told me to cancel towards the end of February and they also would not accept my electric letter because “the company doesn’t seem real” a simple google search could’ve showed them that it was very much a legit company and the biggest energy supplier in New York . Long and short of the story they kept giving me the run around until March. Kept emailing and asking to speak to a manager. They slapped me with another monthly fee $42 and a service fee $69 even though I had been trying to cancel. I brought my lease and they didn’t make a copy then emailed me and told me I had to bring the lease back (that means driving 75 miles just to bring them the lease). Now in April I’m again charged a $42 fee…the supervisor stated she would try her best to have those fees removed but I don’t trust that at this point. Please be aware before you sign up with this company. I can also verify my claims with my emails sent to them and my emails with the supervisor. This gym is horrible and very small so you don’t even get to use the equipments you want. The service is horrible! The fact that I’ve been trying to cancel since February and it’s now April and I still can cancel is ridiculous. I’ll be seeking legal help.
