Don't go anywhere near if you need parts anytime soon

As with the other negative review I've been let down by Powertoolsplus. I needed parts for my drill in a hurry as expected when your drill breaks down. All items I ordered were marked as in stock but after nearly 2 weeks I emailed them and got told by Mike "these items arrived today and will be shipped tomorrow". That was the entirety of the email, I'm fuming. After googling their address I now realise they are a small repair shop on the outskirts of Nottingham running out of an old chapel not a massive warehouse. So I don't understand why, after taking 2 weeks to get my parts they don't ship them out the same day, maybe they just couldn't be bothered. I work in a small office that ships products. If there's been a delay in getting an order out, we don't sit on it when it's ready. That's just good business practice. They are not a good advert for small online businesses.

Delivery Misleading

Ordered some parts for a drill that were needed urgently, and were listed as available stock on their website, after a week of waiting for my parts to be delivered I logged into my account to check up on the status and found that the parts were on "backorder", so I contacted Powerplus who the explained that they don't actually hold the parts in stock but order them from a supplier when a customer puts an order in, then once they receive them from the supplier they then finally post the parts out to the customer, so basically you could be waiting a fortnight for your items to arrive, because this company is essence only acting as a middleman between the buying customer and the actual stockist.
Powertoolsplus should state this on their website, and remove the "available stock" from the ordering page as this just misleads the customer into thinking the parts are available for immediate dispatch.
This is not good when you are a tradesman who relies heavily on working tools and need a fast turnaround when a repair is needed.

*I have since tried contacting this company but they are refusing to answer my emails.
They have a diabolical customer service.
I am left with no option but to shop elsewhere for my items which are now needed very urgently and in fact due to the delay is costing me money.
I have also raised a claim for a refund through Paypal.
I can only offer this bit of advice based on my experience with these amateurs.
AVOID POOWERTOOLSPLUS AT ALL COSTS.

UPDATE :
FINALLY recieved the items yesterday almost a month after ordering, absolutely shocking service, not even an apology .
I would NEVER return to these amateurs, and I advise anyone considering buying from them to do the same !!!

you get what's written on the tin.

Used them 3 times now and each time have been very happy. First time there was a delay so contacted them and got a quick reply apologising for the delay and received the item shortly afterwards. Would certainly buy from them again.
