About Prayers Academy
Written by the company
Prayers Academy is a daily companion for prayer and Bible study. Each day opens with a short plan built on Scripture: a devotional, a verse, a reflection question, a written prayer and a quick quiz. It takes about ten minutes, morning or night, and works right in your phone's browser.
Beyond the daily plan, members can go deeper with:
- Seven archetype journeys: 14-day study plans that walk with Bezalel, Joseph, Ruth, Solomon, David, Esther and Deborah, each with a printable PDF journal
- God's Math, a short video series on money, stewardship, debt and giving, taught from Scripture
- More than 50 study plans on faith, relationships, purpose and finances
- Guided meditations rooted in Scripture
- The whole Bible, with your place saved
You don't need to know the Bible well to start: every passage is explained in plain language. Prayers Academy is available in English, Spanish and Portuguese.

This company is a scam
This company is a scam. I have wrote them about 3 times about canceling my subscription. They tell me to to go the app I have went there as well as the website you can not cancel I ask for a refund because I do not use the app. When i tried to cancel They do not read their emails I am sick of compaines using God to draw peopel fo money . This is why people do not trust these so called chrisitn business. Because of mess like this. i want my money. 60.00 dollars for what. I also will report them to SAG. enough is enough of the scamming. OK I got your review. So here is my answer. Keep your blessings plese. Do not put God in this. I wrote you all . And either you guys blocked me or google. did. My bank is aware .BBB isaware and Trustplot is . aware. I am going to send you all a letter again. And I am goimg to take a photo of it. So my bank can see it. You all pull 120.00 you pull two times. the reason why I say 120 is because who ever came up with this 99 cent thing was wrong. Let call it for what it is. Not mad but hurt . UPdate. I type very fast when I am mad. The Prayer academy contact me. They refund 50% no I did not lke it but something is better than nothing. Now I want to say this public. And all Consumers as well as Business. There is a word called integrity. Things are changing everyday. Ypu g to work then next thing you .Get get called into the office and the boss say we have to lay you off. If a reminder would have been sent out this would not have happened. What is wrong with a reminder this gives people a chance to say they still want to keep the subscription or they have time to cancel. That is business . I am done with this. Just issue my refund and I promise you .you will never hear from me again. But do right by people.

It’s a Scam for Money
I discovered they were charging me $59.99 per month for a subscription I did not remember signing up for. I sent two emails after the September 26 payment was taken asking them to cancel my subscription. I received no response from them and on October 24 they took out another 59.99. I filed a complaint with PayPal who sided with the company even after I had requested cancellation. I think they are in cahoots. I am very disappointed with PayPal for the way this case was handled.

I signed up for a trial and cancelled it immediately. Here we are, 3 weeks later, and my account was billed for $29.99. When I access the app the screen tells me there is no subscription active. It was cancelled so WHY are you billing my card? Also why is there no option to change you card information in the app. This is robbery.

I get it
I get it. Everything you buy now has auto renewal clause, it’s the only way some of these companies make money. It’s gotcha and I’m not giving you a refund. I did sign up for a trial at 9.99 , but 59.99 a month!!! When I can pray for free. I was looking for help and you dug deeply into my pocket at a time when I needed help the most. Dorothy, and prayers.academy will not do well.

The company is a big Scam
The company is a big Scam. I purchased a £7.49 product, went on to access the program but found it was only AI. That is not even the worst part. I opened my credit card account more than a month later, only to see they had tried to charge my card another £33.61p which I never asked or subscribe to. They did so simply because they had my card details and trying to contact them is impossible

I'm leaving 1 star because 0 stars…
I'm leaving 1 star because 0 stars isn't an option.
I signed up for the $9.99 program just to try it out since there was no free trial. During checkout, I did not select any add-ons. Shortly afterward, I discovered I had been charged $49.99.
When I contacted customer service, I was told that I had added a journal to my order. I never intentionally selected or agreed to purchase any journal or add-on. They offered to refund only 50% of the charge, even though I disputed the entire purchase.
If I supposedly purchased a journal, where is it? I've received nothing.
What makes this even more disappointing is that this company presents itself as a faith-based program that helps people struggling with money, yet my experience was being charged for something I did not knowingly purchase and then being told it was my fault.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this service.
