I visited this shop for the first time last week, and I can honestly say that the service I received was exceptional, the best in years of any kind of retail business. The gentleman who served me was extremely kind and friendly, and took a real interest in finding the correct footwear for me, as well as making a small adaptation to a pair of shoes bought elsewhere. I have no intention of going anywhere else in future!

I had a great experience learning things about the way I stand, walk and the structure of the shoes I buy being detrimental to my foot and posture health. My lovely store assistant was friendly and knowledgeable and seemed to judge my taste and needs in shoes well enough that I ended up buying the second pair of shoes I tried on. Now I know how to wear my shoes and how to walk/stand - thankyou!!!!

What an amazing find, staff were amazing, learnt a lot about my shoe size no other shop seemed to help with and learnt more about a foot condition my doctor didn't help with :) ,the staff are extremely knowledgeable,helpful and amazing. Visited twice and left with happy feet. Highly recommend.

With my dog, I made a special expedition to Potters Bar from Primrose Hill to visit Precious Soles. It was well worth it. The sales assistant I talked to took a great deal of trouble to narrow down the range of possible shoes. After half an hour, she enlisted the aid of her boss. Together they supplied me with shoes that look attractive, are well made and fit me excellently.

Although it’s still early days as I only visited today, I can’t recommend Jonathan at Precious Soles highly enough, as the experience itself was so positive. He was honestly a breath of fresh air.

I’ve been struggling for a long time with foot pain, heel pain and finding footwear that actually works for my feet, and Jonathan took a huge amount of time to properly assess my feet, explain everything clearly, and never once rushed me or tried to push a sale.

Jonathan quickly identified that I have narrow feet and talked me through why certain shoes I’d been wearing weren’t helping, as well as why others had actually flared things up. What I really appreciated was how knowledgeable and honest he was — everything he suggested was based on fit, support and long-term comfort, not what looked nice or what was most expensive.

He made careful adjustments to the footwear so it fitted my feet properly, explained what might feel strange at first and why, and even gave thoughtful advice on next steps (including recommending a physio) rather than pretending shoes alone would be a quick fix.

If the shoes do help as hoped, I can genuinely see myself becoming a customer for life — being able to come back season after season, have shoes properly fitted and adjusted, and gradually build up a small collection of footwear that actually fits me and supports my feet properly.

It’s so reassuring to find someone who genuinely understands feet and genuinely cares about getting things right. I would highly recommend Jonathan to anyone struggling with foot pain or who has been disappointed by so-called “comfort shoes” in the past

Just spent two hours in this welcoming, friendly, supportive & knowledgeable store - mainly as it's our favourite place for getting the best advice and shoes for our three SEN children from.

Well worth booking a slot in advance as they're super popular because of their skill and recent 5 star Snowball review. Our thanks to Jonathan, Kirstie and especially Stephanie for today's visit. On visiting Precious Soles, I was treated with the utmost attention, with curtiousness and kindness. Nothing was too much trouble and time immaterial. All the shoes were fairly expensive but worth the cost if they prove to be the answer. The only problem of course being that it’ll be some time before I’ll know and the shoes already mine.

The customer service that Precious Soles provides is second to none. It's not only the original sale either. There is the follow up service that they offer. I've been back a couple of times about some shoes which I bought from them to get some follow up modifications and advice and the staff simply could not be more helpful. Plus they offer a twice yearly refresh service where you can take your footwear back to be "serviced" Marvellous!
