I am currently not a fan of this warranty service. I bought a VW Atlas and had a coolant leak today. The repair shop inspected my vehicle and found the water pump was leaking. The cheapest water pump was over $200 and warranty said they were only paying $118. I contacted the dealership and one of the vendors had one cheaper but still not for $118. Part of replacing the water pump includes a coolant flush. My serpentine belt was also damaged because of the antifreeze leaking from the water pump and it needed to be replaced as well. Warranty company will not pay for the coolant flush only the fluid and they will not pay for serpentine belt being replaced because they said that was apart of maintenance. I would not have needed the serpentine belt replaced had the water pump not needed to be replaced and damaged the belt.
Update 9/26/25
Contacted warranty company and expressed my frustration about the company not paying for the serpentine belt damaged from the water pump going out or the flush which is apart of repairing the water pump. I was placed on hold while the representative contacted the adjuster. Adjuster couldn't be reached and now I am awaiting a call back from the adjuster. I will update again if or if I don't hear back from the adjuster.
Update 9/26/25
Adjuster called back and resolved nothing. He serpentine belt is not apart of coverage regardless if it was damaged due the water pump going out. I asked about the flush and wa is told well we paid for the fluid. OK but not the flush which is part of the repair work for the vehicle. I asked about them only paying $118 for the part and was told well we gave them the patt number for a suggested price of $118 but that part couldnt be found anywhere. So, I asked well you all should be able to provide a place and phone number of where the repair shop can get the part at that price. No answer. They are full of crap and I'm canceling my service because I haven't even had this warranty 30 days yet.
DO NOT BUY THIS WARRANTY‼️

I was surprised at how fast and efficient the claim was handled. My customer was happy as well. I deal with almost every warranty company and this was an unusually great experience. We don't work with Fidelity because they are the opposite of this. Great job! I am a service writer and this is my professional opinion.

I have been in the auto repair industry for over 34 years. Typically the warranties are a pain to deal with, however Preferred was a pleasure. There was no hassle from the adjuster about pricing and payment was quickly handled.
I would definitely accept their warranty again at my shop.

CALEB WAS VERY PROFESIONAL AND WILLINGNESS TO WORK WITH THEIR SERVICING DEALERS. DOESN'T COVER 100% OF THE REPAIR COSTS, BUT IT DOES GIVE SUBSTANTIAL COVERAGE FOR LESS OUT OF POCKET COSTS TO CUSTOMERS.

The dealer I bought my used Infiniti from had purchased a warranty for it and I am so glad. I started having an issue that I thought might be the transmission and when a local Infinity dealer checked out the car that was the case, PWI came out quickly and took care of the claim efficiently, so I only had a small bill for the transmission replacement. I highly recommend them.

Purchased a warranty from PWI when I bought a used vehicle just as peace of mind or a just in case. That was a few years and 40,000 miles ago. I keep up on all the maintenance. I noticed an oil leak under the vehicle. Turned out to be a timing chain cover gasket. PWI and the dealership service department made it a smooth process. Only cost me my deductible for a $4000 job. Couldn’t be happier with PWI. I will gladly purchase warranties from them again.

I took my truck in for its scheduled service and also had them check out a noise it was making. Let me also say that I am very consistent with taking my truck in to get serviced in whatever it needs when it needs it. Long story short my engine needed to be replaced. The dealership it was at worked with the warranty company, and myself and PWI made it very easy. I could not be happier.
