Poor Communication
Not ideal out of country. I finished my level 5 course in 4 weeks, but it took an additional 4 weeks for them just to dispatch my hard-copy certificate to the post in Ireland. I still have a long wait before it arrives in America. So much for teaching abroad this Summer. The course itself was good and thankfully self-paced, (hence the three stars) but all my communication with the actual company has been awful. I think they must be chronically under-staffed. They were always super polite and friendly if I could get a hold of them, but it’s like they’ve only got one person frantically trying to manage everything .

I’m thrilled to share that I have successfully completed my TEFL course!
The journey through the course was both enriching and eye-opening. It provided a comprehensive overview of teaching methodologies, classroom management, lesson planning, and language acquisition theories. Scam. Never once got feedback when I used any of the help lines to assist with my course but they are very quick to ask about payments and only respond to emails regarding money. So disappointed in myself for falling for this

Great certification!
I've waited several years to write this review, and after 5+ years, this certificate has really opened doors and allowed me to prosper in what I do. To be able to get higher jobs, you'll need to pair it with other niche certifications, but this is enough to be able to teach in most countries in businesses or online and start developing your own reputation as a teacher.

I was able to secure an English…
I was able to secure an English Teaching position at a school in Poland. They even offer a course that teaches you how to use Artificial Intelligence to help with lesson planning! The program is not hard, but you need to apply yourself and you will pass the quizzes and test.

Just a sad slide deck
The "course" was essentially a clunky power point presentation with nobody to explain it. There wasn't an instructor. I bought the program during a promotion but for scheduling reasons, I didn't start it until a couple months later. I immediately realized it wasn't for me but they wouldn't give me a refund.
