I like to give Credit where credit is due and As always an excellent service from Rob of Prep2Paint.
I have used him previously and he is definitely my go to decorator,prices are fair and reflect his quality of work.
He has just completed a full redec of my mother in laws bungalow including some external work.Which to to be fair was a major job not having been touched in thirty odd years.
He even put in a couple of late nights and a Saturday to help us out as mother in law was having visitors so they had a nice room to sleep in.
Rob always talks through the job and any issues he thinks he may come up against and with his experience he is normally right and I will always be guided by him.
Not much more I can say other than a very professional,experienced decorator at a reasonable and fair price.
Always found Rob to be prompt and polite at all times when doing work.
Thanks again Rob we will definitely call on you again and pass your name on.

Rob visited my home in July and made a good first impression. He said the job would take 3-4 days and promised to send a detailed quote within a few days. However, it took more than three weeks of chasing to get an estimate, which still wasn’t complete. He only provided the estimated duration (3-4 days), his daily rate, and a rough £200 for materials, saying he would confirm the final quote soon.

Another three weeks passed before he provided a formal quote, which was 20% higher than what we initially discussed and significantly more than the two other quotes we received. He added extra days and doubled the material costs, quoting 5 days to paint a bedroom in a 10-year-old house, compared to the original 3-4 days.

Despite the inflated price, we decided to proceed with Rob and set a date. After slightly changing the scope of work, the price again increased disproportionately. Still, we agreed to move forward. But on the scheduled day of work, Rob simply didn’t show up and failed to notify us.

This behavior shows how unreliable, greedy, and disrespectful he is toward his clients. We took time off work to accommodate him and were completely let down. Had we chosen another contractor, the renovation would have been finished by now. Buyer beware.

Robert was prompt in providing me with a reasonable quote to decorate my lounge that required updating and making good of cracks in my ceiling after seven years following an extension.
He was always polite and arrived on time.
Worked very hard all day with excellent results
He always cleaned as he went along and
Tidied up at the end of each day.
Very happy with the quality of his workmanship.
Would highly recommend and would use him again.

Robert is friendly and professional. From initial quote to finish. Very pleased with the standard of decorating, he has wallpapered and painted my home. Also impressed with how clean he left our home at the end of each working day. Highly recommend to my friends and family

Rob decorated my Lounge and Hallway last year and very pleased with the excellent finish. He has now decorated my Kitchen and Lobby and I am extremely pleased with everything he has done. Excellent workmanship and great that he cleans up at the end of each day. I would have no hesitation in recommending him and I would always use him again. Family and friends who have seen his work have already said to me that they would employ him to do work for them - you can't get a better recommendation than that.

Rob was professional and did a brilliant job for us. He was very careful and tidied at the end of the day. We will definitely use him again and have recommended him to our family and friends.
