I can't believe I just received a replacement card today and called the company to activate it and there is a 0$ balance on it! They are telling me the card had already been used- compromised? I just took this card out the envelope tonight after receiving the card in the mail today, and then called them to activate it! This was to replace the first $100 card (there were 2 I bought on separate days ) I bought over a week and a half ago at the grocery store King Soopers. The card I purchased had no 3 digit number on the back- it was covered with sticky crap that I could barely get off. It was unusable. Now I am being told I have to wait 90 days for them to " check into the matter". They are a very fraudulant company! Truth be told yes their website is always broken and does not work. Sadly, With these cards I have never had a problem until this last week , and I bought them all the time for the last two years and never had a problem. I am very angry about this now, and will go to my grocery store and tell them tomorrow. They can pull all of them off the shelves! No more business for this company- complete rip off artists!

This is a FRAUDULENT company! I was told my card was compromised, literally; right after I purchased it! I didn't even have an opportunity to activate it, because the operator told me, she would send me another card in the mail, and I should receive my card in 14 days! 14 days!? I need it today! I read the reviews,
from 2019-2022, "after the fact," and 99% of past costumers have negative reviews/experiences from this good for nothing "FRAUDULENT" company! I went back into the grocery store, reported this company to the manager, and she removed all the cards of the shelves!

Fraud. My card was purchased for $100 but only had $10 on it. Their phone number cycles you until they hang up on you. NO email to file a complaint and I doubt the address actually works. 2nd time in a short period (both birthday gifts) we got screwed by this company. Filed a report with the FTC and should file one with BBB. Complete fraud.

I purchased a $300 prepaid VISA as a father's day gift from a large grocery store chain. When my father tried to use the card, it didnt work, so he went to the website. To enter the site, you must put in your gift card number. The website would not accept the card number and said it was invalid. He called and was told that the bar code does not match the card number and they can't do anything to help. I called myself and was told the same thing and that somehow they are also able to tell that the card doesn't have any money loaded onto it (which I dont understand given that they claim to not even have this as a valid card in their system). The customer service representative was extremely rude and raised his voice at me for asking questions! They told me I had to take it up with the store that sold me the card, but refused to provide any written information that I could show to the store to help explain the issue. When I contacted the store, they told me that prepaidgiftbalance.com is responsible and to go back to them. No one is taking any accountability, and I don't know how to get my money back.

I attempted to use in in June and it was not accepted.
I went to the prepaidgiftbalance webpage and registered the card, etc only to find out it had a balance of $10.00 ??
It was "apparently used" for 2 back to back purchases on the same date at the same location in Jan 2022???
I dont live anywhere near where the purchases were made nor was the card in my possession at that time.
I talked to CS for over 30 minutes and they said they would investigate but it would take 90 days and wanted a copy of my DL. I am not comfortable sending them personal identity documents.
I think this is a scam and fraud manipulated by the company or someone inside.
I would like to tell the good friend who gave me this gift but then she will be out the money and will likely give me another gift and I dont want her to spend more. I will never give or buy a prepaid card again
Epitome of Inadequacies and Antithetical Business Conduct
Do not conduct business with this service provider under any circumstances. Purchased a Visa debit gift on the 26th from a local grocer in the amount of 500 dollars cash. Checkout procedure was consistent with every other similar transaction and I possess the receipt and card activation confirmation slip per usual.
Upon attempted use, the card was declined and also unsuccessful logging in to their host website/interface for balance checks, PIN changes, and other functions/information. Same story for the toll-free number. Multiple hours on hold and several times hung up on for no reason, finally spoke with CS associate who informed that it would need to be referred to another un-named, and unidentified person via their proprietary channels because the card "just wont register for no reasons". She ended our dialogue with citing a minimum expectation of five business days before she could consult with this aforementioned co-worker. That was just to hear back from them! That is just unacceptable and especially seeing as there would be an additional waiting period after they spoke with me about the presumed solutions!!!!
Language Barrier
I needed the funds on this card and the customer service agent disabled the card. She reissued one, but I have to wait for it to come in the mail. I never needed a replacement. I needed an agent who spoke English efficiently to help me. Now I'm having issues because of someone's ineptitude.
Keep your receipts!!!
Received as a gift. I had my balance frozen because fraud was detected on the card. They asked to provide the following information which could only be sent over fax or mail: Front and back of the card, my DL, and the receipt. That's where the problem exists. It was a gift, I don't have the receipt and even if it was provided, I would have long thrown it away. They refuse to "investigate" without the receipt. I asked to speak with a manager and the request was denied saying that I would get the same answer from them.
What a crock! The only fraud that's being committed is by this company. Holding the remaining balance (not a small amount) and refusing to help without the receipt.
