Food is the best out there! There were some issues w the snow and dpd which caused issues but now they are fixed!

Food was great to begin with, I ordered the one of meal plans. Then I started to add on some extras to my order as I enjoyed that much, but items were then missed off my order. Which was a shame. I did email about my order they replied quickly, asked for proof of invoice which I gave. I then didn’t hear back for a week and email again, he apologised which was great and said he’d issue a refund. I have not had this. I don’t intend on ordering again because of this

I used this service for a little over a month, for the most the food was tasty, deliveries always on time etc. it was as if all went well, then the service works. First red flag was when one of my food containers was broken, when asking for resolution on that, I got ignored. I let this slide because I thought one meal out of how many, it happens, and wasn’t worth chasing. Fast forward, my circumstances changed so had to cancel. I went on the website, selected cancel and thought no more. The next week I got billed so I sent an email. Andy responded rather swiftly and seemed to resolve it for me by providing me with the refund requested, stating it could take up to 72 working hours to appear in my bank. That was almost 4 weeks ago, and still nothing. Despite attempts to contact and threats to go legal. He clearly doesn’t care and isn’t willing to refund my money for a service I haven’t even received. This is theft.

I have so far paid for two deliveries and not received anything. They have not said sorry, they have so far accused me of giving the wrong address, they have blamed my local DPD centre for being terrible, they’ve told me to patient, and that they have thousands of customers to take care of.

They have not once emailed me with an update I keep having to email them and now I haven’t received a response for a few days to my last email asking what is going on. It’s a shame because I was looking forward to the food which looked great.

Great price and relieves my stress of having to meal prep on a day off.. working 6 days a week, what a god send and meals are not like your average microwave meals they’re great tasting and never would know I had them in the freezer!

I’ve been using prep by gainz for a while. I had to pause my subscription for a couple of months while I was working abroad. It was so easy to pause and restart it. I got myself into a bit of a tizz with payments and dates but was able to get through to customer service right away. A kind lady called Leighanne answered all my queries and assured me. It’s so nice to deal with a company with fab and quick customer service.

I have had one delivery from this company and the food came absoloutley destroyed out of the 10 meals o got 7 had completely opened and gone everywhere. Was offered a refund but doesn't seem to be coming. Was going to give them another chance but unsure now since they dont respond to emails.
This has now been rectified by Andy very quickly.

I have been having gainz for around six months up until around with no issues good food . But as of late 3 weeks of my food being delivered a day late. Then i had two meals which arrived open and not being sealed
Causing the food to not be consumable. Tired emailing 3 times no answer and trying to contact via phone which constantly gets diverted to answer phone. No refund and apology for food being late and not being consumable. The food in the past month has arrived warm with one small cool packs to keep the food cool. The food has also been like its been in a food
Processor looking like baby food all mushy.

For starters don’t miss out by reading any of the bad reviews and letting them put you off, I’ve read many reviews, decided to try for myself and OH MY!!!

Never thought meal preps could taste so fresh and delicious. From now on my life is going to be so much easier every week popping them in the microwave whilst also eating well and being overly satisfied. Honestly couldn’t say a bad word about this company, since I ordered my first delivery it’s been PERFECT🥰

UNREAL food & a life changer, genuinely. One thing you can not get back in life is your time, and this place saves you SO MUCH time! Food shopping, prepping food, cooking, washing up…. They near enough all things of the past now as we just order all our meals from Gainz and they come ready to go! The time is now spent less stressed and more quality time with family. & let’s be honest the food is so much tastier than we could ever do ourselves. Wish we had found this sooner but so grateful we have now! Thank you 🫡

I have been using gainz for a few years now. Honestly love everything about this brand. Being a mum there isn’t always time to cook so these meals are so convenient but also they are cooked to a high standard. I love the fact there are so many meals to choose from. I honestly recommend it’s a brand I will be using forever.

I have been massively disappointed with this company. From the very first delivery the food packing was not robust and some food was not what I ordered along with no food labels on some packaging. I also ended up paying for 2 food orders and only received one, however the monies were debited from my account to the sum of £174.59. No matter what I try I am now being stonewalled with no one willing to resolve how I get refunded. The customer service it awful

First time ordering.
Came on time.

Food was very good - but suspicious regarding calories. I can bet my life that the calories/macros on the food is way off. No way in the world is the food i ordered comes to 500 calories. They must be atleast 700-800 calories. How can you have a fried samosa in butter chicken with white beans and more rice than i have ever had in a meal come out to be 460 calories?

Second time ordering food:
HORRENDOUS quality - chicken tasted rotten in all the meals i tried. Not a single meal was as described online - different ingredients to whats displayed on the website.

Extremely pi*sed off.
Waste money and gym effort consuming these falsely marketed meals.

I’ve used prep by gainz for my meal prep for almost two years now. Quality food and great service. Andy and the team always go above and beyond to answer any questions and ensure I’ve got well presented and tasty meals!

Recently started to order meal preps from Prep By Gainz and really enjoying them. I’m on a training plan so they’re really helping me to keep on plan with my food and even though they are healthy nutritious meals I feel like I’m having a cheat meal some days they’re so tasty. My favourite so far has been the Butter Chicken, Hungarian Chicken and the protein waffles. The service has also been fantastic and quick delivery. Great for people with a busy life style who don’t have time to cook but want to stay in plan with tasty, healthy and nutritious meals. Would definitely recommend :)

The first problem was they sent meals I did not order. Meals were very poor. I’ve tried many meal prep company’s over the years and this has been the worst.
I contacted them and was told that it was because they were changing warehouse, not my fault. They offered a refund but received nothing.
None of the meals were acceptable to me. I normally eat anything.
I’m very dissapointed that Andrew has left me hanging after the email he sent apologising and offering a refund.
I eventually got an email then a call where they offered a refund for the meals I did not order.

Myself and my Wife have been using Gainz for around a month and half, with weekly orders of 14 meals, to supplement a high protein diet and take some stress away from cooknig meals with the kids in the house.

The meals themselves I think are nice, they aren't going to blow you away but they are very nutritious, filling and pretty tasty for the most part. There does seem to be a bit of inconsistency with the chefs, some weeks you'll have a very spicy version of a comparitively mild one you had last week (Katsu curry is a good example of this).

Where this company lets us down, is its absolutely abyssmal customer service. 3 weeks ago we missed 4 of our meals, they didn't arrive in the box. We've messaged, email and phoned but have not heard anything about it. This is about £24 which is a lot of money to be wasting in 2024.

Secondly, the packaging is very poor. We have around one meal a week spoil because it's had the film pierced in the delivery box, or spilt sauce over other packaging. I would happily pay £1 extra per meal for some decent packaging.

Overall, we have made the decision after this week to discontinue with Gainz, mostly as they are simply ignoring our messages for the four missed meals.

I would probably rate them a 4/5, but since this is my last avenue for the company to hear me, I am marking them as a 1/5 in the hopes they actually respond.

EDIT: I have since had a refund for the missed meals and am updating to 4 stars.

(Update) Had a response meant to be delivered tomorrow fingers crossed

So far no response or emails from the company tried ringing and emails, seems like they are struggling to keep on top of things and don’t care anymore, also on my account was another persons address. I presume the owners home and he’s put it on there by mistake ?

Hopefully ceo will see this review and sort my order out but until then I would avoid.

Placed my order to be delivered this Sunday and received a confirmation but didn't receive any tracking or any meals.

Contacted them by email, phone and Facebook but haven't had a response.

Hopefully they contact me for a refund so I can remove this review.
