We purchased our front door 2020 with a ten year guarantee. We have had someone come out to inspect the door, he fixed it for a while however it’s same problem (locking mechanism) which he didn’t look at told us it was the frame causing the problem.
We called to the place of business today to find it was boarded up the phones have been disconnected.
How are we supposed to get in touch with this company, there’s no notice on door to say they have moved or gone out of business????
Is anyone else having theses issues.

DO NOT USE. The have gone into liquidation. We are trying to get various issues fixed. Fortunately we paid by credit card and have a FENSA Certificate and Insurance.

Excellent process from start to finish. We decided to go with PDWC as they'd done brilliant work on our old house. Fantastic customer service with great communication throughout and the team of fitters were so quick and professional. The windows look stunning and true to original sashes. Thank you so much PDWC! The whole process has, so far, been faultless, and the work carried out completed to a high standard. Yesterday, September 2003, the team arrived (Darren, Callum,Darren, Carl, Dave and Ben. Initially the weather was atrocious with heavy rain. This did not stop the preliminary work on the replacement of a French door with a sliding patio door, the replacement of the exterior utility door and window, the replacement of a kitchen window, and the replacement of the exiting wide kitchen window with a door and smaller window unit. All this work was completed in 1 day. Everywhere was left clean afterwards. We had problems trying to get other companies to even turn up to do an estimate, so when Prescot Windows and Doors came to us by way of a personal recommendation we were very pleased with the initial response. We are even more pleased with the results and will be using them for other works.

Excellent service , would highly recommend, had a new front door a while back and just had a new patio door put in , made up with the end product and service

Very expensive. I went somewhere else and quoted half what this company was asking. Any one should definitely shop round instead of getting their windows from here.

A superb firm with great customer service.
Have used Prescot Door and Window Centre over some years when needing to replace and update. Always been very satisfied, from initial visit to measure and discuss, to the fitting of the product.
Recently had a problem with an older door.
Was absolutely delighted when Lee said the problem could be rectified which saved on the cost of a replacement.
Would readily use Prescot Door and Window Centre for next replacement window or door I need and would thoroughly recommend the firm to others.

Very pleased with the recent replacement of my windows & front door. Luckily the team managed to complete the work during a pause in the bad weather! They worked really hard & the result is lovely, especially my new red front door! I have used this company before in a previous home & would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone.

Hi Lee so pleased with our new gutters, fascias and new canopy across bay Windows and a pitched roof put on extension at the back of the house. We can't thank you enough. Lee and all the boys who built our new conservatory including Darren did an excellent job from start to finish, overcoming problems along the way as ours was a challenging project. I found the company through Solidor, we also needed Windows replacing at the same time. I had struggled to find a double glazing company that would give me an honest quote without 2 hours of sales patter and somebody taking a huge commission.
The price they quoted was more than competitive and the workmanship was excellent.
I would definitely recommend them.

We had all of our windows, a Patio door, two French doors replaced along with a new front Door and surrounds installed. Delighted with the entire process from the initial visit, to visiting the shop to see some examples, to the final installation by the team .

The results were fantastic and the installation team were top notch.

We were concerned about any damage to the existing wall and decorations with the windows being replaced, but the team did an amazing job replacing all the units with the minimum of fuss and zero mess or damage.

We noticed a dramatic immediate improvement with the removal of draughts in the house and even an improvement in the sound insulation too.

Well recommended.

Great service, price and product...

We had been looking for a new composite backdoor for our kitchen as we were remodelling. Found Solidor on line, built a back door and requested a quote. Solidor directed me to a local company, Prescot Door and Window Centre. Visited the showroom and from the outset found them very helpful. Mark at the showroom answered all of our questions and we ordered a Solidor (stable) door, new side window and new front window. It was fitted on the day agreed, the fitters were on time and did an excellent job at removing the old door and windows and installing the new ones. They cleaned up after themselves, took away the old door and windows. Really pleased with the product. The guys also gave me some good tips for our future windows.

We will be replacing the front door and remaining windows later this year and will not hesitate to use Prescot door and windows again.

Called into Prescot Doors and Windows as we were looking at getting a New front door and frame . We were met at the counter by the lovely Mark who was excellent at advising us on the different types of door , fittings etc .
he said that we could go on the website and design "our own style " and colour and fittings when we got home , which we did .
He even showed us some ideas on the huge screen by the counter to point us in the right direction . Nothing was to much trouble really and there was no pressure to buy .All business's could take a lesson from how this is run .

We designed our new door and returned after 3 days to the shop and were given our quote , and to pay our deposit and were booked in for the morning of the 27th November.
On the 27th 09.45 am 2 Fantastic guys turned up Neil and Ben to install the new door and remove the old one and frame , they were brilliant . they removed all the old door / frame and then prepared and Fitted the New Frame and Door .
All done and finished by 12.15 pm We then returned to the shop and saw Mark to Thank him for an Excellent Service and paid the balance hat was due .

All in all I can " TOTALLY RECOMMEND" Prescot Doors and Windows we are EVEN going back to them after Christmas to replace our back door too.

If you are looking at getting New doors / windows Go and see Mark he will 100% look after you.

Had a new Solidor fitted by Prescot Door & Window Centre. After spending 3 weeks looking at alot of different companies, we went for these guys. Every aspect of dealing with them has been a pleasure. From customer service, picking door options to fitting. I couldnt be happier. Fitting standards are impeccable. They lowered our step for us as requested and the attention to detail is second to none. We now know who will be fitting our windows and french doors once its time to upgrade. Not only was we impressed by how good the work was carried out, they absolutely smashed every other quote we had from other companies inc safestyle, which many believe are the cheapest. The fitters also took away our old door and all waste they made. Leaving us with nothing to do but admire our amazing new door. Honestly couldnt be happier. Would definately recommend these guys to anyone. I will not be using anyone else!

I used Prescot Door & Windows after they did work on my parents house replacing windows. I had a new porch installed with a set of French Doors. The installation was very clean and was finished to a really high standard. Many Thanks to John and Mark for all the help regarding the doors and Darren for being a super star when fitting in the rain. Lovely job guys thanks again!!

We recently had a patio door fitted and couldn’t be happier with the result and the service we received! Being our first home, this was a big expense for us and we got several quotes from national and local companies, but what made Prescot Door and Window Center stand out was not only their competitive prices but their personal service.
