I had ordered a DVD to be delivered to my home in Canada. When it was evident that it must have been lost in the mail, I contacted Tracy at Presto and she agreed to send another DVD by Royal Mail registered mail, and it arrived 6 days later.

Horrible pricing $5 for one piece as a piano teacher I am shocked and disgusted

My searches for unusual or rare CD recordings of loved music seem always to lead to Presto Music. Their on-line catalogue is easy to navigate, their holdings of truly wonderful recorded music is exemplary, while their ever friendly staff manage swift and sturdily-packed delivery internationally. A terrific outfit.

I have used Presto Music several times to download cd-quality classical music. I am impressed by the vast number of items they sell, the simple way how to find them, the clear way they provide an abundant amount of information about them, about the simple way you can download your music and the many payment possibilities. It is also very nice they maintain a history of bought downloads in your account where you can download them again in case you lost them.

Presto music offers a really wide range of sheet music. And if something goes wrong, as it did on my last order, they resolve the problem quickly and efficiently. I highly recommend them.

We had an order mix up but customer service handled it so perfectly that made another order. I conduct an amateur orchestra and have used the Sheet Music sales together with the Streaming Service for planning programmes and obtaining orchestral scores and parts, a powerful and helpful combination.

I have been a long customer of Presto Music. However when I recently visited their web page to search for some Bruckner symphonies, the way search results were structured had changed completely.

Search results were presented as a list, now they are presented as a grid of album covers.

The trouble with the grid display of album covers is that it is a confusing wall of album covers. If, for example, I am searching for Bruckner symphonies, there will be thousands of results.

A list makes this somewhat easier. For example: when was the album recorded? How long is it? What other pieces of music are on it? And so on. That way you can scroll through dozens of albums fairly quickly, taking time to listen to selected tracks to see if you like a particular album.

I can't make those sorts of comparisons easily with a grid of album covers. It just looks like a confusing mess.

Customers are not even given the option of deciding how they want to see the results. Windows File Explorer gives users many ways to display how files are displayed, so the technology can’t be that difficult.

Presto claim research they conducted with customers revealed nothing adverse with the new system. Not sure I believe that.

Regretfully I will not be purchasing much from Presto for now.

Widest selection of quality symphonic recordings that I am aware of, at good prices. Shipping is prompt, packaging is excellent, customer relations is open and reliable.

Very good website, especially the download feature because it gives you a chance to try again if things do not go well the first time.

I closed my account in April, they are still charging me from my fine, when I complain they ask me an idiotic question what my email address is, even though they reply to that email address.

Easy to order online and CDs in stock delivered quickly and at no extra cost if order is over £30. Their online help service is also very effective at sorting out any issues. I can thoroughly recommend!

Used for many years to buy CDs and SACDs (not downloads - not my thing), always excellent, top notch packaging.
I have recently started clicking on underlined pieces of music which automatically takes you to almost all other versions of that piece of music many of which you can listen to for comparison - a great feature that I wish I had made use of earlier.
They are often cheaper than other sites, and offer markedly better quality. And watch out for their offers, which can be cheaper than buying second hand elsewhere.
Occasionally they will issue a refund when they can't obtain a backordered item within a reasonable period.
Despite many years as a happy customer, I don't remember ever receiving any discount coupons, maybe this is because I check out as a guest (something for you to think about).

Ordering on line very easy and if it wasn't for my bank's making it difficult to buy from them, I would have purchased what I wanted to buy

I am not sure if I experienced simple incompetence or duplicity in the very delayed delivery of one item of my order. I suspect both.

Firstly it needs to be more widely understood that Presto do not carry stock of all titles they list as available on their website. I could not find any mention of this on their website - This was told me by one of their customer assistants. It is adjacent to fraud in my view. I would not have ordered titles if I had known they did not stock them.

Why do I suspect duplicity? Because after Presto messaged me and blamed non-supply upon the publisher/wholesaler I messaged the publisher and received a rapid response telling me that the title was available. Three weeks after Presto listed the title as available they actually got round to sending me the completion of my order.

I don't say that I'll never buy items from Presto again but certainly I'll look for other suppliers first. In summary the worst customer service I have experienced anywhere over the past ten years or longer.

Again, having been a customer for many years with Presto Music, I can say the service and site are excellent. Vast choice of items available. Thank you.

Poor customer service! No download manager for intel mac!! Don't respond to emails.

We purchased our daughter's clarinet from Presto this year and had an excellent experience. We were able to try different models in their practice room - returning a couple of times to try different instruments. Once we made the decision Clare also helped with the admin needed for assisted purchase scheme. Finally when the instrument needed tweaking on set up Clare and the team were brilliant in checking it over. Brilliant customer service. Thank you!
