THE ABSOLUTE WORST
We have NEVER experienced the level of shady business dealings as we did with this company.
We were 1 of SEVEN groups who arrived at Priceless in Tampa, NONE OF WHICH left with a vehicle.
To begin with, I called Priceless to see if they were actually on-site at the airport prior to renting using Economy Bookings. I was told that they were. That was untrue. We had to wait for some time for a shuttle that took us on a 20 minute ride to a small offsite lot. When we entered there were 2 other couples that were quite upset.
We carry full coverage insurance policies through Geico. In addition, we have rental car insurance through our Chase card which we used to reserve the rental. Priceless informed us that our coverage (along with EVERYONE who came in) was not adequate and that we were required to purchase their coverage for an additional $35 a day. In addition, they wanted $25 A DAY for “toll road coverage”. We did NOT need that but they said we were required to have it. There were 4 other groups that arrived with us and NOT ONE OF THE CUSTOMERS THAT WALKED IN THERE LEFT WITH A VEHICLE.
THIS PLACE IS A SCAM!!
We ended up going back to the airport and renting a vehicle from Alamo.
DO NOT RENT FROM HERE!!!

To Manager/Operations Manager
To Manager/Operations Manager - in regard to recent LAX Priceless Car rental
Confirmation ID PREXP10482784
My family and I rented a van from your company for our recent family vacation to Disneyland. We have 2 small daughters, age 6 and 7 and obviously their safety is our number 1 priority. Upon pickup the vehicle was in horrible condition – there was bird poop covering the vehicle and the gas was at ¼ tank. I’ve never rented a vehicle that is dirty before or needed gas upon pickup. The inside smelled like dirty feet – such an unpleasant odour that our children felt sick. Furthermore, the lady at the desk insisted we sign up for additional insurance coverage, even though we never agree to that because we are covered by our own insurance and credit card. So already, we had to pay an additional $162 over and above our agreed upon price. She would not let us waive that fee. We have never had to pay that, as it is an option at all other reputable companies.
We had an issue on our last day of the rental. We were on the freeway driving towards LAX Priceless and the tire started making some flapping noise and quickly deflated from 32 psi to 6 psi with no warning. We immediately found a safe exit and filled the tire up at a gas station. We did not want to chance the tire losing all air on the freeway with 2 small children in the vehicle AND missing our flight. Not knowing what to do, we drove to a nearby restaurant, ihop at 840 S Harbor Blvd, Anaheim. From there, we called Priceless and the customer service was horrible. The sales agent was not willing to help at all. He told us to change the tire, or take it to a tire shop. That was out of the question, knowing we had to make our departure flight home. Also, as a renter, we should have some rights too. We came to a hasty conclusion that the only option was to leave it at the restaurant, which was in a safe location with the keys locked up and manager’s number provided. This was the only way to ensure ours and our children’s safety and to make sure we made the flight home. The customer service should be better versed in providing safe and realistic options. The agent was very disrespectful and not helpful at all! He immediately started writing negative things about us online. We left a review and he blatantly lied and said we did not leave the car in a safe location FALSE, that we were in an accident FALSE.
Also, with the additional insurance we were forced to pay, it should cover all the additional towing and tire costs. We have not received our deposit back and were charged enormous fees the moment we got on our flight home. The rental company should not be charging us without our authorization. That is theft! We have been charged over $839.00 USD for the tire incident. $450 for a tow? That’s ridiculous. If Priceless wanted us to change a tire, they should have listened to their own advice and went this route instead of charging their customer. And you are asking us to pay additional days for rental – NO! We should not be charged the additional time. ABSOLUTELY NOT! This is robbery. We also had additional costs we incurred on our own for the international phone calls to Priceless customer service, uber to airport, etc. in trying to deal with this situation.
I demand some compensation for this horrific experience. We absolutely will not rent from you again, pay the additional fees, or recommend you to anyone in the future. I can’t believe you are in business and treat your customers this way!
Very disgruntled and discouraged,

three hours wait time, more expensive than Expedia said, and never got deposit back
We rented a car end of December in Carolina, Puerto Rico. We arrived exactly on time at 11:30am in the morning, and had to wait for THREE HOURS until 2:30pm in a cramped room with lots of other customers to get our car. The bill turned out to be higher than expected, because they wouldn't honor the Expedia insurance. At that point we were exhausted enough - we got up at 2am in the morning to go to the airport - we just paid. Then, they never paid back the $250 deposit. Their phone representative saus we need to talk to the location in Carolina, but all we hear from there is music. This is a scam, my worst experience with a rental car company in 50 years of driving.
Excellent customer service
do not rent from them
Terrible experience today! no shuttle, they wouldn't pick up their phone, and after 40 min waiting we took a Lyft. Upon getting there, found out they had very strict/narrow allowances for using your own insurance. Otherwise they'd charge $50/day extra for their coverage. My insurance company was in the "approved" list but the coverage wasn't good enough. The young man at the rental desk was not helpful at all, and kept saying this rule was in the rental agreement when I made the reservation (not true). He basically said we either had to pay or cancel. We chose to cancel and asked for a shuttle back to the airport. Even with that, he couldn't help... Terrible experience all in all. I was trying to save money but ended up wasting my precious time off and walked away with a headache.
Avoid at all COST!
One star only because it was mandatory for me to write & submit the review. Got there did not have the vehicle I requested. I even called after making the reservation on Kayak, to confirm I needed a Mid Size or Larger SUV, with easy access (big doors) for my elderly parents and that would have enough room for my mothers wheelchair and my dad's walker. I got on site, waited for 30 minutes, the car they brought wasn't even close to what was confirmed. I had to go back 7 days later to change into the one I reserved. I was on an trip from Costa Rica to Vancouver until Feb 08, 2025. Length of rental could not exceed 28 days, so that required re-booking, so I was told to watch prices on-line and to call them directly before booking. I did that for 2 days and never received a call back or a return to the call after being placed on hold. I'm on Vancouver Island and now must cut the trip short and return to Vancouver to return the car. The online deal for the second leg of the trip was $400.00 cheaper then the original 28 days rental..... I even sent a screenshot of the New Kayak rental showing the $535.00 total, for the same SUV. Unfortunately, there is No such thing as customer service only someone waiting to take your money! You can expect the royal jerk around...... you get passed around to 10 different people , including supervisors and no one has a clue! Plus now I have to send $150.00 on ferries to return the rental.... They have a desk in the lobby of the hotel with no vehicles on site. so be prepared to wait. The 2nd vehicle I received was not cleaned inside or out, they didn't have enough staff to move them off site, clean them and return them for pick-up. I only took it because they had 30 cars returned to the hotel parking lot and the hotel manager were not happy about it, so I tried to help and work with them by taking the dirty vehicle. What a Clown show. Do yourself a favor and avoid this company like the plague. Hope this helps you avoid a unnecessary bad experience. Cheers, and well wishes to all that read this.
Steer Clear. Fees added onsite totaled more than the rental.
The fees charged upon arrival at Priceless totaled more than the reservation and taxes. The staff we came in contact with have been unhelpful, unfriendly, slow and frankly rude.
I booked Priceless thinking they were an onsite car rental car company. That was my mistake.
We waited while other shuttle vans looped through multiple times. Finally the Priceless van arrived with numerous tacky signs requesting tips and plastic pieces falling off onto the ground. We were not impressed.
The location of Priceless is fairly close to the airport so the drive didn't take long. The location is also a junky ghetto old mechanic shop. At this point we were fearful of the state and safety of our rental car, but we had the car reserved so we walked inside. How bad could it be?
I want to be clear that the quality & cleanliness of the location and shuttle van has little bearing on my review. The reason for the low rating is the unhelpful agent, paired with the terrible service and outrageous surprise charges.
We paid $105.56 to rent the car and they wanted to charge $138.69 in fees to set up a toll account. This does not include any actual tolls, just the set up of an account. Nowhere before arriving at the location were we warned our rental was going to double with added fees.
In addition to the fees we were asked to provide proof of insurance which we did and they accepted. Still they wanted to hold $2000 on my credit card because we refused to buy their insurance. Why if they accepted our insurance? Never have I experienced this with any other rental car company.
After the experience trying to check out the car we felt confident upon returning the rental there would be more ridiculous surcharges for who knows what reason so we decided to cancel the reservation. We were told they would refund the $105 that we'd already paid by calling a 1.800 number. We were told that because I booked the reservation through their website she couldn't do the refund. Oh the lies.
I called, sat on hold for 25 minutes before it sent me to voicemail. No one returned my call. So the next day I called again. I was told they need permission from the location to refund my fees.
It's been over 2 weeks and I'm still calling and emailing looking for anything besides dead air.
My recommendation to anyone debating a rental from this shady company is to hire an Uber. You'll save both money and time.
Its CHEATING COMPANY
It's CHEATING COMPANY. DON'T RUIN YOUR VACATION.
It's CHEATING COMPANY. DON'T RUIN YOUR VACATION
This Company is simply a SCAM. If you are travelling with family, DON'T TAKE THE RISK it's not worth the money they offer. They don't have Customer Care Representative to answer your calls.
They say Car Pickup in Airport but it's NOT. It takes couple of hours to reach the actual Site from Airport.
They deny car and ROB the entire Rental Amount.
Once you book online your are gone. There is NO proper way to Cancel your reservation. They don't pick your calls. They don't respond to your emails.
This whole experience with Priceless…
This whole experience with Priceless was the worst car rental experience in my 50 years of renting cars. They are scam artist charging 1 price then when you go to pick up the car they charged $60 day. More than I pay in a whole year with a $1000 deductible. Many people were complaining in the lobby if you can call it. Then Gabriel claimed he cancelled the reservation because we were there for two hours discussing the insurance issue. He finally agreed after I had to beg him to let us get the car. This company is the biggest scammer I have ever had the awful experience with. The next email is to Priceline to find out why they are included in their webpage as an option.
I am writing to formally address a…
I am writing to formally address a deeply concerning experience I had while contacting your business via phone regarding my rental. The level of unprofessionalism and inconsistency displayed by your employees has left me both frustrated and apprehensive about the remainder of my rental experience.
During my interactions, I spoke with individuals who identified themselves as Juan, Maria, Kevin, and Alberto. Unfortunately, I was subjected to the following issues:
Repeated Hang-Ups: I was disconnected multiple times during our conversations, requiring me to call back five separate times to resolve my inquiries.
Inconsistent Information: I was provided with three different prices for both the deposit and the extension, which created significant confusion and frustration.
Unwillingness to Escalate Issues: When I asked for clarification on who their managers were, I was given conflicting answers. (Rodrigo Lasero and Guillermo?) Additionally, my request to log a formal complaint or leave a note for a manager was outright refused.
Hostile Behavior: When I explained that I was recording the conversation due to the rudeness and hostility I was experiencing, I was shouted at, laughed at, and subsequently hung up on.
This treatment was not only disheartening but also unacceptable for any professional organization, especially one in the service industry. This incident has seriously impacted my perception of your company.
Furthermore, I am now concerned about potential retaliation from these employees when I return my rental car. Given the behavior I have already encountered, I fear that they may take further actions that could impact my experience or result in unwarranted charges.
I kindly request the following actions to address this matter:
Immediate Review: Please investigate this situation thoroughly, including the behavior of the employees mentioned.
Accountability: Appropriate steps should be taken to ensure this behavior does not occur again, including retraining or other disciplinary actions as needed.
Assurance of Fair Treatment: Please provide confirmation that my return process will be handled professionally and without bias or retaliation.
Total scammers
Total scammers! WORST RENTAL CAR AGENCY I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED.
1. Waited for 2 hours to be picked up from airport, dirty van, no heat, driver drove like a maniac.
2. They asked to see our insurance then said, you don't have enough property damage insurance, so you have to get our $30/day insurance. Nothing posted said this.
3. Cold lobby with scarce seating, no coffee, rude staff.
4. Tried to charge us $15/day for a second driver of same age etc.
5. This company is a total scam. Low price turns into $75-$150/day bill once they pile on their insurance and extra driver fees.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED FOR FRAUDULENT PRACTICES.
Pri-Worthless Rental Car Company Stinks!
I have traveled all my life and rented 100’s of rental cars. Priceless rental car company in Ft Lauderdale Florida is the absolute worst rental car company I have ever used. The customer service is beyond horrible. The hidden fees which are probably illegal are numerous. The gas and toll fee is astronomical, probably illegal. I can’t say strongly enough, consumer's, DO NOT USE “Pri-worthless “ rental cars company EvER!!
Awful Company
Awful Company - booked car 6 weeks before trip, turned up at Nice airport to collect it at 2.30pm on 28 Dec 24 and office was closed. 8 phone calls to try to get someone to respond (including via Paris office). The person then said my booking had been cancelled (I had a copy of the confirmation email their system had sent that morning with me!) Had to then go to a different hire company and hire on the day at 3x the cost. AVOID THIS COMPANY - they are cheap for a reason and their customer service is appalling! Still waiting for a refund too!
Worthless company. Cheap for a good reason
I booked this car rental through Expedia, and the price was cheapest vs other options. Thought Expedia would have diligence on this company and booked. This a worthless company, and staff had cavalier attitude with no intention to provide information or help. It took 5 hrs from the time I got to the airport pick-up stop in San Juan (3.45pm) till I got the car to drive out (8.45pm). They don't have enough cars but took all the bookings they got...so they kept the passengers waiting without giving any information. The car i finally got was extremely dirty, fuel almost empty, faulty with front passenger door not opening from inside, intermittent and random warning signs coming on dash board etc...apparently no maintenance was done for a long time. Stay away from this pathetic company, it is cheap for a good reason.
The worst experience ever
(((Priceless rental cars)))The worst experience ever. Not professional, unfriendly and rude staff. No details on the website and asked to charge us more as there is no option. Refused to call their manager or give us any contact number. They kept talking together in their language and laughing within our conversation. The office is underrated, actually was salon place. DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME GOING THERE
I don't even want to put one star
I don't even want to put one star. Such scammers,
1. No direct shuttle services from LAX Airport to the car rental. Took us an hour to reach after changing twice
2. At 12am we reached the car service and they say no cars available????
3. So we had to book through another company and once we leave we saw a car when asked, they replied just came in but can't offer you anymore since you ask for a refund.
Worst experience ever!!!!
Insurance scam
We booked a car that they wouldn't let us pick up unless we bought all their extra insurances. They told us that international CDW and SLI insurance doesn't count and they won't let you take the car out of state. They try to scam you into buying their insurance and then just leave you high and dry without the rental you booked. Staff are rude and customer service is terrible
Scam & fraudulent
Scam & fraudulent
Priceless in Zürich
I put deposit on Visa & they took over $4800 day after the car was returned!!!
I’d give it negative 10
Extremely Disappointing Experience at Priceless Car Rental
I am writing to express my extreme frustration and disappointment with the abysmal customer service I encountered during my recent attempt to rent a vehicle from your company. What should have been a straightforward process turned into an exhausting ordeal marked by misleading information and aggressive upselling tactics that can only be described as gouging customers.
From the moment I inquired about rental options, it became painfully clear that your company’s practices are not only deceptive but also designed to take advantage of unsuspecting customers. I was faced with the shocking reality that you wanted to charge me almost three times the cost of the car rental itself for additional insurance coverage that is both unnecessary and exorbitant. The so-called "full coverage" advertised on your website ($5+/day) is anything but comprehensive. I was informed that I would still need to purchase your insurance to meet the third-party liability requirement ($25/day), despite the fact that your site fails to communicate this critical information clearly.
When I explained that I had coverage through my credit card, I was dismissively told it only covered collision. I also mentioned my personal car insurance, but was told it did not meet your absurdly high limits. The lack of clarity and transparency on your part is unacceptable. After being told that the "full coverage" was only valid for bookings made online, I left in frustration, only to return the next day to book the coverage for $5 a day as advertised.
However, when I returned to pick up the car, armed with the "full coverage" I had booked online, I was met with the same customer service representative who once again insisted that I needed to purchase an additional $25 per day insurance policy because the online coverage did not meet your requirements. This is utterly ridiculous! If I’m standing right in front of your staff, visibly upset and questioning the need for extra coverage, your representatives have a responsibility to inform me clearly about the limitations of the online coverage. Instead, I was misled and had to endure yet another trip that resulted only in frustration and the cancellation of my reservation.
This entire experience has left me questioning how Priceless Car Rental remains in business. I cannot fathom how any company could treat its customers with such blatant disregard. I urge anyone reading this to reconsider renting from your company! The lack of transparency and customer care is alarming, and no one should have to endure the unnecessary stress that I faced.
I expect you to take this feedback seriously and implement immediate changes to your customer service and rental practices. It is essential that your company prioritizes transparency, honesty, and customer satisfaction. Customers deserve to be fully informed about their options and any associated costs before making a rental decision, not subjected to misleading information and aggressive upselling.
I urge you to review your policies and training for your staff. Clear communication regarding insurance requirements and rental terms is not just a best practice; it should be a fundamental part of your operations. Your representatives should be equipped to provide accurate information and help customers navigate their options without confusion or frustration.
