Delivered on time, at first I was hesitant, then I thought to give a try and that product is working fine since the time I bought.
Faulty goods and no recourse
I purchased an iPad from Pricelulu that has been diagnosed as faulty by Apple who advised me to return it for a refund/replacement. I have sent multiple emails, contacted them via WhatsApp, and contacted them via Messenger. 15 days later they acknowledged my email and replied using very poor English, completely missing the point made in my email. It's as if they haven't read it at all and have just sent a generic unrelated response. There is no phone number I can call them on to try to resolve this so I am considerably out of pocket and have an iPad that doesn't function. I urge you to ignore the tempting savings and purchase your goods from Apple or John Lewis, safe in the knowledge you have some support should the worst happen.
I thought to share my experience with potential buyers who is considering buying a device at pricelulu
I bought a brand new Iphone 13 256gb back in December 2021. When I received the phone it was sealed in an original box. When I opened the box and extracted a sim holder there was a vodafone sim card. I was quite shocked how could this happen. However everything else looked brand new and the phone had never been activated. THE MOST SHOCKING SURPRISE WAS… in about a year I decided to clean the charging port with a toothpick and when I took a closer look at the bottom area I noticed that the two bottom screws had really noticeable signs of opening. One of the screw had a completely slipped head. Someone definitely had unscrewed them with a screwdriver before. I’m really concerned about the fact that I was ripped off because it is probably a refurbished iPhone not a brand new!! Now it is down to you whether you want to save a few quid and got a surprise like me.
Faulty item , unauthorised retailer!!
Bought Oculus Quest 2 , faulty controller.
After thousands of checks and wasted time they said I need to contact manufacturer.
Manufacturer said the product was sold by unauthorised retailer and the product is registered in US which means they only can send replacement in US
Contacted Price lulu again no responce , after a while automatic responce saying “we are sorry to hear blah blah contact manufacturer “ I replied saying I did contact manufacturer and this is what they said , received another 2 replies saying exactly same thing !
Avoid !!!
Faulty goods are being sold by this…
Faulty goods are being sold by this company. My Airpods stopped working but the warranty was already expired with Apple even though I had only owned them for 11 months.
I have tried to contact PriceLulu several times and received no replies. I am now taking them to the small claims court.
Brought Nintendo switch for my…
Brought Nintendo switch for my daughters birthday it won’t switch on or charge tried numerous times to get in touch with price Lulu and no response would have given 0 stars but it won’t let me. Customer service is shocking Avoid Avoid Avoid !!! 😡😡😡😡
Excellent products with a real warranty
I bought two products first is Apple air pods pro and the second is Apple Macbook pro both products are really working well with no issues so far. On one occasion, I dropped my apple buds and then I couldn’t hear the sound very well as before. So, as it was in warranty I simply took to the Apple care after they verified they gave me the new buds. So for me everything is legit and working perfectly fine. I don’t know why there is so much negative comments on the internet...
AVOID
AVOID. AVOID. AVOID. Please just save yourself heartache and trouble and buy elsewhere.
It’s transpiring from my experience and other negative reviews that Pricelulu is selling electronic goods previously faulty that they have tampered with, or electronic goods manufactured elsewhere in the world that don’t come under UK warranty. It also seems like their ‘positive’ reviews have likely been paid reviews to up their rating.
I bought a brand new Samsung phone which did arrive within the specified time. It was written all over in a Far Eastern language but though nothing of it.
Long story short within a few months the phone malfunctioned and the screen started flickering on the lower half. I thought ok, it’s well within warranty. However, this is where the nightmare begins. Pricelulu referred us to get it fixed with Samsung. Sure ok. We tried Samsung but they immediately picked up that there was no IMEI number printed on the back of the phone, as all their phones normally have. They told us we were sold a dupe phone. Went back to Pricelulu, but they didn’t want to know and we were fobbed off with random emails. When we finally managed to extract the IMEI number, it turns out that the phone has been manufactured in Taiwan and is not eligible for warranty under the UK regulations. We tried to request a refund from Pricelulu but they have stopped emailing back. Even if I fix the phone I have no idea how reliable it will be and whether it will continue to malfunction. I am now out of pocket with a phone that is not reliable and that may cost me more than I initially bought it for.
Complete lack of response
Sent me a product to which was broken. Took three weeks to respond to my return request. I sent the orient back and now am 4 weeks later without a reply. I mailed them numerous times and the useless people (not allowed to sweat of course) couldn’t be bothered to reply. I am now 180 quid light with no response at all. Use them at your peril.
Wont refund or exchange a non uk watch
Wont refund or exchange a non uk smart watch which they supplied with no mention that it was not a non UK watch and therefore would not be able to use Gpay or Samsung Pay. They were abrupt and reading between the lines simply tough.
Will never use this company again.
Awful company BUY AT YOUR PERIL
Awful company. Customer service is complete sham. Website says "PRICELULU is the trading name of MEAS Holdings Limited, registered in England & Wales."
As of 22/2/22 Meas Holdings has been dissolved according to Companies House. Trustpilot won't permit me to show the web link so search for Companies House Pricelulu
Website is still functioning but home page says "Christmas Magic let's begin".
BUY AT YOUR PERIL
I cannot recommend this company - pathetic fulfillment.
I cannot recommend this company. Zero stars is more appropriate. Order placed on 2 Feb '22 with 6-11 day delivery, ie by 13 Feb. Tracking link provided but not updated after 9 Feb. E-mailed Pricelulu on 15 Feb but no reply. E-mailed again on 16 Feb and got a reply but no delivery date. They e-mailed on 17 Feb with no delivery date but a vague statement "The local tracking will be updated on the 724 tracking link once it is ready" - whatever that means. Today, 18 Feb the tracking system still not updated since 9 Feb. So, 16 days after order I cancelled. Pathetic service.
Absolutely shocking horrible experience…
Absolutely shocking horrible experience will never use again and will not recommend. Stay away by all means. I bought 3 items, 2 of them got cancelled and I returned 1 of them as I no longer needed it they have only refunded me for 1. It has been almost 3 weeks and the other 2 although they have received it back they have not refunded me yet. They reply to my emails like once every 2 days. Just prolonging the inevitable. Terrible experience they need to be more proactive and not reactive
Bought Nintendo Switch from Pricelulu…
Bought Nintendo Switch from Pricelulu for my 10 year old son. The Nintendo stopped working and will not switch on. I contacted Pricelulu and was instructed by Pricelulu to contact Nintendo (the manufacturer). When I contacted Nintendo, I was told the Nintendo has been tempered with by a third party. I have reflected on this and realised that, it is likely, Pricelulu sold a faulty Nintendo to me for my son. The situation as it stands now, Pricelulu would not refund or replace the faulty Nintendo, so is the manufacturer (Nintendo). The Nintendo warranty is still valid but Pricelulu told me their warranty period is only 14 days. If I have known this, I would not have bought the Nintendo from Pricelulu. My experience with Pricelulu since the Nintendo stopped working has been poor and insensitive. My advice is, other people intending to buy from Pricelulu to think twice or better buy from a renowned online company.
Would have been 5* but slow delivery
It would have been 5* but it did take over 10 days to make it to me. Got the weird link everyone seems to hate and it hadn't moved for 4 days. I dropped Price Lulu a message and the next day they sent the DPD link and it arrived that morning. I think maybe they just need to work on the delivery set up as I suspect the first counrier is to get it to DPD and then they deliver. Discount was well worth the wait, nothing wrong with the iPad, box was a little mashed on one corner but Apple make their boxes like tanks so it was all good.
All in all I can't really complain, they might just want to reveiw their set up for delivery notifications.
Difficult to get refund when sent iPad Air instead of iPad Pro
Possibly the worst company I have ever dealt with. I ordered an iPad Pro for my daughter for Christmas and to our disappointment we received an iPad Air. I requested a refund and was offered a £10 coupon to keep the iPad Air! Considering there is nearly £200 difference in price (on Apple website) I thought this was disgraceful. I had to pay to return the parcel about £10, and was told they would refund back £5 for this. It has taken nearly a month with email after email. Finally have received a refund but no extra £5 for postage. They are happy to take your money but are very reluctant to refund it back. Avoid with all costs.
Galaxy Watch 4
My husband ordered me a Galaxy Watch 4 from Pricelulu on the 8th and it took 10 days to arrive, not great delivery times, but if you only take in to account the "working day" it took 1 week and 1 day. My 3 star review is based on the fact that I live in the UK so when I first turned on the watch and chose my language (English - United Kingdom) I was NOT expecting that when choosing a Region I could only choose from places such as Egypt, Sudan, Quatar, I do not live in those regions, I live in the UK, so the watch my husband purchased is not regional to what was resonably expected. The watch does appear to be genuine, just NOT to the UK. So in my opinion he wasted £195 on a watch that is NOT made for my country.
GENUINE REVIEW**
GENUINE REVIEW**
I bought a £469 drone (DJI Mini 2) as it was almost £100 cheaper than any other places. As soon as I bought it, I started to read the bad reviews about this website. I honestly got really scared this website was a scam. I didn’t receive any confirmation email after payment, therefore, I got even scarier. Fortunately, after contacting costumer service I received a link to a “dodgy” delivery service called 247xfdm or something like that. I bought the item on Sunday night, the following days there were updateson the shipment and on Thursday morning I was sent a link to DPD to receive more information regarding my parcel. Today I received the parcel, containing the drone, well packed and with its original packaging. Also, it came the UK socket. Overall, good experience although it can be a bit scary not to receive a confirmation email!
My device was having issues and they…
My device was having issues and they told me to take it to a local manufacturer, I took it to a local manufacturer and they are not accepting it as it’s a UAE model. I have been emailing about this to pricelulu for a month now, and all they keep repeating is take it to a local manufacturer. Can never rely on them even with a warranty. Never buying from them again.
Great price and delivered on time.
Always worried when ordering electronics from retailers not on the Hight St. Ordered iPhone 12 to arrive for Christmas in white - colour was out of stock at JL and others.
Lower price than most, arrived on time and good tracking system.
