Next day delivery?

They advertise a next day delivery on the website, that's why I bought a fridge from them, but on the next day they called me to say they can only deliver after 6 days, without offering a compensation or even an apology.

Excellent

I ordered a microwave and it was delivered two days later. PriceTag offered the best price and kept me well informed throughout delivery process. I would definitely use PriceTag again.

Terrible Service

Ordered and paid for a new microwave oven for "next day delivery" on the morning of delivery was sent a text from DPD couriers telling me my item would not be arriving as they had not received it from PriceTag. PriceTag did not contact or inform me the item was not in stock. After emailing them was told I could have a different colour. Eventually got a refund. No apology. Terrible service !

PS. I tried to post this review on their own site, but guess what??? They did not post it & only post positive reviews on there site!

Non delivery

Don't order from this company.
i spent £500 ordering a Russell Hobbs washer dryer- which was supposed to be delivered thr next day. I am still waiting. I am very concerned because I have not received any information from the company regarding the delivery, and nobody is picking up your customer service phone. Luckily I paid on credit card, so will contact the bank.

Smooth transaction

I bought a whirlpool JT 369 combi microwave/oven on Wednesday evening and it was delivered Friday lunchtime with no weeping, wailing or gnashing of teeth.......AND it was the only site that had the item in stock and at a fantastic price (also got cash back through a well known site) The only thing I found slightly worrying was I didn't receive the text to tell me my parcel was on its way until almost 11 am - a bit late considering their delivery hours start at 7! But this (very minor) point aside, what more could you want? Will use again

Scam

I bought a Russell Hobbs black slimline dishwasher with a 2 year warranty, I registered it within a week of delivery. 14 months on the machine is not working, I called the customer care team to arrange for it to be repaired ( seems the memory card is faulty) and was told, 'sorry, we can't find anywhere that you have registered the machine so we are unable to send an engineer out, however, we do sell the spare parts if you have an engineer who can fit it' !!!!
This is a scam, you take my money for a product but are not willing to follow through with the 2 year warranty. I have the order number you know the date of purchase but not willing to repair the machine.........
Trading Standards here I come.

Awful service

I ordered an integrated microwave from this company this week and was swayed by the stated next day delivery service. On the morning of delivery I hadn't heard anything so I called up and was reassured that the parcel was out for delivery by the courier that day. However, having stayed in all day to no avail it subsequently transpired that it only left their warehouse 250-300 miles away from here at 3.30pm that afternoon - meaning I had a wasted day staying in and that I had to rearrange plans for the following working day in order to be in for delivery. I emailed them to complain about this and received a brush-off that they were very busy - no acknowledgement of the inconvenience caused nor attempt to explain why I had been given incorrect information that morning. Very unimpressed. Won't shop here again.

Poor customer service, poor delivery team

Ordered a fridge freezer from them by phone. So far so good - even got them to match the price their sister company were offering it at on Amazon. (I assume it's the same company because the same staff seem to work in both).

Received an email confirming the date the item would arrive and that the delivery team would be phoning the day before to give a 4 hour time slot.

No phonecall. No text. No further emails giving any information on delivery time slots. I tried phoning the delivery company but got no answer despite trying several times. Emailed Pricetag as by this time it was outside their opening hours and I was worried that the fridge freezer wasn't coming at all especially as my old one was due to be collected the same day.

Phoned Pricetag the next morning (day of delivery) and spoke to customer services. Unfortunately the person I spoke to had no idea what to do. She told me to phone the delivery company myself. I told her I had already done this and got no reply. Also I was using my mobile phone to make calls and it is quite expensive. She then told me that the company they use for deliveries wasn't answering their calls either. No further help was forthcoming except to tell me that delivery was up until 8pm. So I guess I was expected to stay at home for up 12 hours to wait for the delivery which could arrive any time up to 8'oclock at night. I actually had no choice but to wait at that point because by then my old fridge freezer had been collected.

The fridge freezer eventually arrived this afternoon (yippee!). I asked the delivery men why they hadn't called. They said it wasn't up to them to call - customer services should have called me. Furthermore they said there was no way they could have given a 4 hour time slot for delivery as they had no idea what time they would be getting to my house.

So there you have it. This is the second time I've attempted to order this item. The first time they totally messed up delivery by not giving me a date at all except "between 4 to 10 days". - and even then they couldn't manage to deliver it, even within those broad time scales. I ended up cancelling the order that time.

I was seduced by their very cheap prices. I won't be purchasing from them again. I'd rather pay more for better service and delivery. I don't think any of this was intentional. I just think they're disorganised and chaotic. The person answering the phone sounded incredibly inexperienced as though she was on work experience or something.

Disorganisation and chaos in itself isn't a major crime. However I think Pricetag needs to realise that when running a company, disorganisation and chaos can cause customers a lot of stress. My entire day had to be cancelled and rearranged because of them. One simple phonecall can make a lot of difference.

I've made a complaint anyway. I think I must be unlucky because everyone else seems to have had a positive experience with them. Whereas I've had the same problem of poor communication and poor delivery twice now.

very slow delivery - no communication till the day of delivery

I was afraid the company had gone under as I had no communication after they took my money and could no longer access their website.
However the fridge did arrive and on the day the delivery men called in advance and were very helpful carrying it to the 2nd floor flat.
The fridge looks great - all I ask is that you improve your communication!
