Primera has never fallen short with…

Primera has never fallen short with customer service or support anytime I have had to deal with the company. I have been one of the first Eddie cookie printer owners and have had success each time I have had to ask for help. I just ordered a new ink cartridge for my Eddie yesterday afternoon and I have already got a message saying that I will have it tomorrow. I live in Canada on an island. I couldn't believe it. THANK YOU PRIMERA!

Purchased two Eddy's and one Freddy and…

Purchased two Eddy's and one Freddy and had no issues. When Eddy first came out we were on a waiting list and then they alerted us when it was available. The second Eddy had shipped right away. We were also on a waiting list for the Freddy. They called when it was reddy and shipped as discussed. Like I mentioned we had zero issues. Thank you!

Love the Eddie!

Love the Eddie still getting use to it but was sold when I first saw it in action. The capabilities are endless. Decorating edibles with the Eddie is a game changer with printing and time.

Ink cartridge replacement

I had a new ink cartridge that was not working. The tech I spoke with had me do a couple of tests, determined it was the cartridge itself and had a new one overnighted to me. During the busy Christmas cookie season, it was so nice to have a company that stands by their product and takes care of an issue. Thank you!

Love my Primera LX 910 color label printer

I love the color label printer from Primera. It’s actually my third one. I sold the other two after a business sale and a business ending. Glad to be in business again and loving how my labels look.

The shipping policies are ridiculous

The shipping policies are ridiculous. While shipping is free in the USA, yet in Canada I must pay +/- $50 for shipping is ridiculous, when the product is already so expensive.
I'm a repeat buyer, and there is no benefit to Canadian clients.

Thank you for the feedback. We understand the frustration with shipping costs to Canada, especially on smaller orders. Unfortunately, international shipping and import costs are outside of our control, and absorbing those charges on single-item orders isn’t sustainable for us as a manufacturer; we'd lose money on every shipment. That’s why we have a $250 USD free-shipping threshold in place for Canada and all other international destinations.

You also asked our sales agent about allowing third-party inks. Because Eddie is used in commercial food-service environments, our printers and edible inks must meet strict FDA, NSF, and other food-safety certifications, which do not allow for alternative ink sourcing or individual exceptions.

We take customer experiences very seriously, which is why one-star reviews are quite rare for us. With the added context above, we hope you’ll see that these policies are driven by regulatory and cost realities rather than a lack of care, and we’d appreciate it if you would reconsider your rating either now or in the future. Your trust in us means everything!

Receiving the cartridges for our LX910…

Receiving the cartridges for our LX910 printer, but unfortunately they were shipped via FedEx. To get to us the cartridges are sent to the FedEx hub in Anchorage and then given to the US Post Office and sent Priority Mail. It would be better for both of us if they were sent Priority Mail from Primera!!

We have tried using USPS in the past for Alaska and Hawaii, but pickup times did not align well with our production schedules. After your feedback, we revisited this and spoke again with our USPS representative, and it now appears this may be a workable option.

I have asked our MIS/IT manager to have his team look at integrating USPS into our automated shipping system so we can make this a smooth and reliable option going forward.

We appreciate the suggestion, and hopefully by the time you need supplies again, we will be able to ship them faster and at a lower cost using USPS. We're on it!
