Very pleased with the cleanliness

Very pleased with the cleanliness, amenities, coziness and proximity to the Town Centre.
Everything was as described and the host (Simon), was very responsive and communications were very clear and relevant to making my stay as comfortable as it was.
I would highly recommend them.

Absolutely terrible

Absolutely terrible, booked on booking.com which I use frequently & had no problems. Then I booked to stay here. Took an hour to get into the building as the door was jammed, even the neighbours coukdnt get in. Then finally to get into apartment it hadn’t been cleaned from previous guest so I had to find a hotel. Waiting to get my money back. Had to send them a photo of my credit card in order to get the access code. Not happy

Shocking company - avoid avoid avoid

Shocking company with appalling customer service.

They stole my deposit claiming I’d broken a bed in the apartment, despite me flagging the damage to them when I arrived and before we’d even sat on the bed.

They then failed to respond to numerous emails as I sought clarification and to raise a complaint. I’m still waiting on who to contact to raise my grievance, a week later, still nothing!

Very unsatisfactory. Very poor customer service.

After receiving a totally inaccurate reply on this site from Primero, I am even more disgusted with this firm. There are blatant errors such as offering me a larger apartment when I actually stated in my review that the alternative apartment offered was smaller!
They did not offer to send a cleaner to sort on the day - rather one the following day after we had spent a night in the filthy apartment.
I sent 9 photographs, not one as they state. The one they are quoting was taken inside the apartment not from the balcony as can be clearly seen.
To state that I obviously did not want to stay there is a lie. Why did I carry all my luggage up to the apartment including food for the fridge and for my stay if I had had no intention of staying?
I was offered a refund by the lady I spoke to on the phone and followed all the guidelines re sending photos. No response and no refund.
Home Away did actually agree with me and told me that I had done the right thing leaving! The fact that have not supported me since is a further issue!!!

I repeat, keep away from this dreadful company.

Glad to read that some customers have been happy with Primero! I have found their handling of my case unacceptable as the chosen rental apartment was misrepresented. This was not 'brand new' as advertised. The apartment in Cardiff was totally unacceptable. Promises were made about refunds, these never happened. The apartment was Covid unsafe and filthy. They offered another apartment in the same block which was dirty too and much much smaller. I have sent photographs of the evidence as requested by them and was told telephonically that I would receive a refund. Nothing! All subsequent e mails are ignored. If you were one of the lucky ones with this company, I am pleased for you, but I have been left out of pocket and feeling very dissatisfied. Will they respond to this I wonder! One star too many!

Hi Frances, we're sorry to see you are unhappy with the decision by HomeAway that you are not entitled to a full refund. You are absolutely right that we offered you another, slightly bigger apartment when you weren't happy with the one you booked. You turned this down like the offer to send a cleaning team right away. All this made us think you never really intended to stay at all. Even more so since the only evidence for the 'filthy' apartment you provided was the uncleaned outside (!) of the balcony windows. In these situations we don't feel compelled to offer a refund and HomeAway (who are always more on the side of the guests) agreed with us in this case. We hope you found somewhere else to stay and still had a good time in Cardiff.

Home from home

Home from home, very clean and well presented apartments in an excellent location and secure parking at a competitive cost. Cardiff is difficult to find parking anywhere and would recommend you take advantage of it. Staff on line were extremely helpful, polite and attentive considering we were staying over Christmas and many are off with the family. 10 out of 10 Primero,and exceptional apartments with clean comfortable rooms with good heating. So many positives to put down and tiny 'watch out for' negatives they are hardly worth mentioning. Looking forward to next year and will stay again. Once the decorations were up everything you needed was there. well done, made our Christmas that's for sure.

Suitable for families

I was very happy with my accommodation at Primero Apartments, it was spacious and I found everything I needed during my 2-weeks stay in the apartment, so it is well equipped. The communication with the management was also good, I would definitely recommend.

The owners of this property

The owners of this property, in their wisdom, have decided that the privacy of their guests is of little importance. This converted post office has huge arch windows right up to a high ceiling. There are no blinds or curtains on these windows (with the exception of the bedrooom). The flat is on the ground floor and these huge windows are feet away from the street.
There's a lot of blurb in their terms and conditions about monitoring noise levels etc., so perhaps they have had problems with previous tenants, but this was just glaringly unreasonable.

Sheffield Apartment

Sheffield Apartment

Stayed here for 4 nights and I have no complaints about either the cleanliness or location, Both were great. However, the ad boasted fast wifi when it ran slow throughout the entire trip, and sometimes did not work at all!

Kitchen was fitted with standard utilities, however, there was next to no cooking utensils, with barely enough to make a basic meal!

If this was improved I would happily stay here again.

I usually stay in a hotel when working…

I usually stay in a hotel when working away but this time I tried this apartment instead and It was the best decision i have ever made!
The apartment was spacious, very clean, modern and had everything I could have ever needed! It had great wifi and even a smart tv with Netflix to chill out and watch in the evening.
There was a utility room with washer and dryer a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher. 1 of the bedrooms had a fantastic ensuite and the shared bathroom was new and contemporary.
It's just a 2 minute walk to the centre of town.
I didn't want to leave!
I would definitely recommend to anyone to stay.

Great place !

Primero as a company were great, Robert really answered all questions as prompted as possible. The actual flat was more than amazing,building ism ndewwluy refurbished and the flats were almost brand new, all amenities you needed, very central , easy access to all you need. I would definitely recommend and definitely go back there!

Amazing apartments and excellent service

We used apartments from Primero Apartments for some of our guys over the past year and were very happy with the service. The apartments are well equipped and it was a pleasure to deal with Robert who always tried to accommodate our requirements. We hope to be working with them in the future.
