Watch out on cancellation of your space

Very nice and close to my house, but the manager was t happy that I didn’t put on a lock the lock I had purchased wouldn’t fit on their door. She had it locked up when I went back . I would have just bought a lock but she said some just poorly worded comments . I said that’s fine I’ll just cancel the space. She said leave the door open I’ll cancel it. I did but found out I was still getting billed. I had sent an email on if the paste was canceled. No reply . I called today and they said I was canceled as of today not the Jan or feb that I actually had canceled.

My experience with Prime Storage in New…

My experience with Prime Storage in New Redford, MA, was disappointing. I was attracted by their low prices, but they were misleading. After four months, my payment went up by $40. I always paid on time, but I missed two payments in June and July. Several family deaths required me to travel, which caused me to fall behind. When I realized I missed those payments, I contacted them to explain my situation and to discuss making partial payments to get back on track. At first, they refused my request but later agreed to a one-time courtesy payment.
My new bill was due, which included an overdue amount. I asked for another partial payment, but it was denied because I had already used my one-time courtesy payment. They insisted I pay the full balance to avoid losing my belongings., They kept adding more fees, making it hard to catch up. Eventually, they offered a deal that required me to remove my items within 48 hours, which I agreed to do. I moved out on December 26, 2024, and ended up costing me a lot of money, time, and hassle.
I cannot with a pure heart recommend Prime Storage in New Redford, MA. Their customer service lacked compassion during my family's pain and suffering. Their unwillingness to work with me and accept partial payments led to high, outrageous, unnecessary fees. This behavior raises serious questions about Prime Storage's business practices and reflects bad service. This place does not deserve even one star. Thank you.
