If I could give this company zero stars I would. They have horrific customer service. If you decide to start a print on demand business, be prepared to spend a lof of wasted time, strife, stress on your own customer service, and refunds to your customers. As a small business owner, I've had an incredibly frustrating experience with Printify. While the platform itself is easy enough to use, the customer service has been one of the biggest disappointments I've experienced with any business partner.
When orders are delayed or problems arise, there is little to no accountability. The burden almost always falls back on the seller, even though we have no control over production or shipping. Instead of offering meaningful solutions, compensation, or proactive support, you're often met with generic responses and long wait times that do nothing to help resolve the issue.
The amount of time I've spent chasing updates, communicating with support, and apologizing to my own customers because of Printify's issues has been exhausting. Every delay becomes my problem, and the lack of urgency from their support team makes an already stressful situation even worse.
Reliability is critical when you're running an online business, and unfortunately Printify has not been reliable. Production delays, shipping issues, and inconsistent support have made it difficult to confidently serve my customers. Rather than helping protect the businesses that use their platform, it often feels like you're left to absorb the financial loss and damage to your reputation.
I wanted this partnership to work, but after repeated disappointments, I can no longer recommend Printify to anyone who depends on dependable fulfillment and responsive customer service. Small business owners deserve a partner that values their time, their customers, and their reputation.

Printify is okay as long as you do not have an issue. There is no way to reach someone other than sending an email and waiting for a response, which usually takes 24 hours. The times they provide for production and shipping are usually incorrect. Please plan to double that time at least to ensure it will actually arrive in time. It is impossible to reach a supervisor for a complicated issue or even a simple issue (like a very long delay from production to ship). I'm going to have to look for another option at this point.

From day one, your platform has been smooth, reliable, and incredibly helpful. What truly stands out, however, is your amazing support team. Every time I’ve faced any issue or had a question, your chat support has responded quickly and handled everything with professionalism and care. Even in cases where an issue required more time, I always received timely updates letting me know that your team was actively working on it. That level of communication means a lot.
I also want to appreciate your backend and technical teams. It’s clear that a lot of hard work goes into maintaining such a stable and efficient system. Everything—from order handling to refunds—has been seamless. Whenever there was an issue, I received instant refunds without any hassle, which really builds trust.
Recently, I received a $30 coupon from your support team regarding the delay in resolving the gift message issue. I truly appreciate that gesture—it reflects how much you value your users and their experience.
I would also like to mention that after using the platform, I decided to purchase Printify Premium, and I am very happy with that decision. It has added great value to my business.
Another thing I want to address is the feedback emails I receive after every support interaction. I always see those emails asking for ratings and feedback, and I truly wish I could respond to each one. Unfortunately, due to being very busy with work and managing my POD business, I am not always able to reply or submit ratings.
So please consider this email as my official feedback for all previous support interactions:
⭐ I would like to give a full 5-star rating to all your support agents I’ve interacted with.
They have always been:
Polite and respectful
Fast in resolving issues
Clear in communication
Extremely helpful and professional

I have been a Printify merchant for a while, but this experience has been a total nightmare. Since March 23rd, I have been misled, ignored, and lied to by their support team.
I specifically asked twice—ON RECORD—if they could handle a Priority USPS shipment to an APO (Military) address for a 16x20 canvas. They confirmed it twice. I placed the order on March 25th, but they failed to fulfill the shipping they promised. I spent 7 days fighting with their supervisors, only to be told 'sorry, we can't do it.'
They forced me to cancel the original order and create a new one manually on April 2nd. Now, their support agents are shamelessly claiming the order is 'new' and 'only 3 days old,' completely ignoring the 10-day delay THEY CAUSED.
I had to refund to my customerout of my own pocket because of Printify's incompetence. They refuse to expedite production with their provider Jondo, refuse to connect me to a supervisor, and keep repeating 'standard procedures' like robots.
And can you believe it? Even after these 12 days of failure, they are still telling me to wait for approximately 5 more days! If you value your business and your customers, DO NOT TRUST PRINTIFY. They will fail you, mislead you, and then hide behind their 'support' walls when things go wrong.

⚠️ In my opinion, this operation feels deeply unethical and exploitative.
After repeated failures, I no longer believe this is simple incompetence. Based on my experience, it feels like Printify is using print-on-demand sellers as a cash float.
Orders are routinely accepted and paid for, yet many are, never printed, never shipped, mysteriously marked “lost in transit” with no proof, delayed for weeks while seller funds are already locked up.
Meanwhile, sellers are left fronting refunds, calming angry customers, and protecting their reputations while Printify holds the money and avoids accountability.
Customer service is functionally nonexistent. Responses are slow, scripted, and avoid resolution. There is no urgency, no transparency, and no ownership when orders disappear. Patterns repeat constantly.
When this happens over and over again, it stops feeling accidental. It feels like a system designed to: collect seller funds upfront, delay or fail fulfillment,
push losses onto sellers and offer minimal recourse.
Whether intentional or not, the result is the same: POD sellers are treated like an interest-free bank, absorbing financial and reputational damage while Printify faces none.
I would strongly caution anyone running a real business to stay away. The risk is not occasional it is structural.

I had a bizarre and frustrating experience with Printify. I was looking to start an online print-on-demand shop selling t-shirts and hats, and saw that Printify was highly recommended. I uploaded my designs, and ordered a few samples. This was where the issues started.
Shortly after placing the order, I saw a notice on my Printify dashboard saying that there was an issue with the order, but that it would be resolved shortly. After a week, I reached out to ask if there was anything they needed from me to move the process along, and received what appeared to be an automated response saying that they would get the order out as soon as possible. I followed up asking for details, and was given another non-response. After another week, I followed up and again asked for details and a timeline on when the product would be sent. I also asked for a real response from a real person, not just a template email. I got another non-response with no helpful information. The only difference was that this time the email they sent was filled with grammatical mistakes. At that point, due to both the poor customer service, and the fact that it had been two weeks and my order still hadn't been printed (with no way of knowing when that might change), I cancelled my order.
Where it gets even stranger, was that a few weeks after cancelling my order I received another email from them saying that they were still working on the issue, and then just a few days ago, I received another email from them apologizing for the delay, and letting me know that they were still hard at work on fixing this technical issue, but were closing my ticket in the meantime. Totally bizarre. I am shocked that other people have had good experiences with them, so it's possible that I am the outlier, but I would strongly recommend that you steer clear.

Agent: Joselyn Mandarin
My experience with Printify’s support was extremely disappointing.
Joselyn repeatedly misunderstood the issue, ignored the official delivery timeframe listed on Printify’s own catalog (5–10 business days total), and kept giving contradictory explanations that made absolutely no sense.
She insisted that delivery days only start counting after the courier receives the package — which would mean a seller could delay fulfillment for months or even years and still claim the order is “on time.”
When I asked for escalation to a supervisor, I was told they would give the same answers, instead of actually reviewing the case.
Even Printify’s own system showed the expected delivery date as November 26, which has long passed — yet refund was still refused.
Instead of following policy, the agent kept repeating scripted responses without actually solving the problem.
This was one of the worst support interactions I’ve had in years.
Printify needs to train their staff better and fix their delivery/refund process.

Communication delay with external store has caused issues with order cancellations.

I'm extremely disappointed with Printify's support and internal operations. I’ve been trying to subscribe to Printify Premium for over a week, and the issue is still unresolved. Despite reaching out multiple times, all I’ve received are vague responses saying, "we're waiting on the team" without any real action or timeline.
The issue is on their own platform, not with a third-party integration — yet it’s been days with no solution. I’ve had customers waiting on orders, and without access to Premium discounted rates, my costs are higher than they should be.
This level of delay and lack of urgency is unacceptable, especially when running a business that depends on timely support and stable systems. If this is how Printify handles internal issues, it makes me question their reliability in the long run.

Positive Aspects: I really appreciate how friendly and user-friendly the Printify platform is. The mockups are great, and I find the overall service provided to be solid. Most of my clients have been happy with the print quality, especially the vibrant colors, which is why I’ve continued using Printify for my business.
Issues Encountered: However, I’ve encountered a challenge with customer service. I reached out regarding an issue with a print not matching the colors I expected (even though my design files were in RGB, as per the guidelines). I did receive a response, but after I wrote back, I haven’t received further communication. This delay is concerning, especially because my client has requested a replacement, and I haven’t had the opportunity to respond to them yet, which is affecting my business.
Suggestions: I would love to see quicker response times from support, especially in cases like this, where a timely resolution is key to maintaining customer satisfaction.
Overall, I think the platform has great potential, but the customer service delay has been a real setback for me.

Great products. Great website. However, all the cool/great stuff is made from overseas, or China. Which causes a huge delay in shipping times. Also, Kinda pricy, which equals tight margins in the end. but hey, what can you do? Oh, not much in terms of NON-iPhone phone cases.

I enjoy using printify.com for my etsy shop. The only negative thing to say is that after a while you have no sales , they remove your payment information. So when I have a sale it does not process and causes a delay in shipping for me.
1/2 of Order missing
I placed my very 1st order to get samples before I start selling and 1/2 of my order is missing. There is no phone # to call and I have been in "live" chat from 2:20pm to current time 6:21pm, EST without any response.
I'm very happy this is not happening to a customer's order and is opening my eyes to the level of service with this company. May need to explore other options if this continues.
9/17/24 Thank you for responding so quickly. Here is my order #16231137.2. The shirt order was put through at 4am EST this morning and has been shipped. I have not received an explanation for the delay or any feedback on if there was something I should have done differently to prevent this. I would appreciate any information you could provide as I am new to Printify.
Thank you, Krista

I have used Printify with my Etsy store for 2 years now. I’ve had over 280 orders use printify services. The integration and design process is simple and easy to use. There is rarely a problem but when there is, they will do anything except help you. They currently only offer a chat or email with 24 hr response time, no person to speak to. That’s your first red flag. I have only had to reach out 4 times in two years out of 280 orders for help. Each time is more frustrating than the last. My only issues have been a “glitch in their system” and customer based (my Etsy customer reaches out for help because they need to update an address). Printify customer service will first tell you what you should have done right to begin with (the address should have been correct when submitting the order) and then tell you there isn’t anything that can be done. Those explanations take approximately 10-15 minutes to get to in a chat. They spend more time telling you why you shouldn’t need help and what the process is rather than looking into a solution. It’s infuriating. My orders process automatically so they meet the Etsy processing and shipping timelines and there is no delay. When my Etsy customer reaches out for assistance, I do everything in my power to help and provide exceptional customer service with a solution. Sadly, Printify does not feel the same about their customers. I will be moving my shop printing to another vendor who values my business and can help 2x a year when needed.

Understanding that order volumes (and thus support tickets) increase around the holidays, the response time on this issue was still about five days. Typically I get a response the next business day. Also, the technician made an assumption about the order being a Christmas gift and rather than processing the replacement order I specifically asked for, simply refunded the order and did not create a new one. This decision guaranteed it would not arrive on time, as it cost me additional time to create the replacement myself. I’m not sure why the default behavior to resolve the issue wasn’t simply to do what I requested, regardless of whether it would arrive on time with a (incorrectly assumed) deadline. The combination of the delay and the action taken (or not) cost me a repeat Customer, and not just revenue. This is not acceptable. I have not had any issues in the past, so I hope this is an aberration.

I decided to go with Gooten over Printify because quite frankly the customer service from Printify sucks. Gooten in my opinion has better overall customer service. I place orders with both companies - ironically both companies claimed to have had a glitch in their system which caused a delay with the order. Both orders were escalated after I alerted them that it had been 4 weeks. However, I was able to track the shipment of the Gooten order and the customer care team went a little further to update me on the shipment. They also offered a refund. Printify customer care team never responded to any of my inquiries, never followed up on the shipments (there were multiple). Never apologized for the oversight and never offered any type of refunds. The order had been delayed and that was that. Customer care at printify is horrible and to be honest the product I received was equally horrible. They were T-shirts, quality was subpar and fabric was equally disappointing and at such a high premium compared to Gooten. Gooten price and quality is better and you are able to add your own branding to your product which Printiify does not offer. But that aside, what dis-pleased me the most was the customer service. I immediately deleted all my tshirts from Printify.
On the subject of the swimwear, ArtsAdd which Printify uses does a good job with the swimwear and shipping is about 10 days. So unfortunately, I have to continue to use Printify for that. As soon as Gooten adds swimwear, I will close my Printify account.
