After what I can only call a nightmare engagement with this company, I couldn’t be more pleased that there is now an official winding-up order against this fraudulent company and a liquidator has been appointed to investigate them. I would urge anybody who has bought a car through this company where there has been faults post purchase to contact the official receiver and provide them with all the information you have about this company. All information can be found on the Gazette website through a quick google. Ryan Jowett and Lee Oleary cannot be allowed to operate a business and deserve to be banned from running a company as they can neither be trusted or have the expertise to do so.

Purchased a car in November 2025. Ryan drove it from Southend to our home in West Wales. During this journey Ryan explained that 'a fault had generated' with the DPF filter system.
I was told that if I would get it repaired ge would reimburse straight away. He was very reassuring that 'he was not like any other shady dealer, he had a reputation to maintain.'

On the basis of his promise (on many occasions) I went ahead and got the DPF filter cleaned at a cost approaching £370.00. I forwarded the receipt and was told that their bill paying days were something like 26th & 28th of the month. This was now December. January came and nothing. I contacted Ryan who assured me that 'was on the list' to be paid. A few weeks later & nothing. We now enter February 2026. I email them & send a copy to the car finance company that they put us on to. Within a few days, a phone call from Ryan. 'You'll be paid by the end of the week,' a further promise that was not fulfilled.

I decided to put this solely in the hands of the car finance company who are to reimburse and claim from this company.

My suggestion - stay well clear from this company.

Im in the lengthy process of returning my car as it was completely unfit for purpose. To make matters worse, the dealership was rude, unhelpful, and showed zero accountability for the issues. Terrible experience from start to finish.

Bought a car from Lee I found it on auto trader was sent a walk around was told nothing wrong with the car it then got delivered to me with the engine light on was told to take it to halfords and warranty would cover it they refused to fix it there words were send it back it’s completely broke so we agreed Lee could fix it this car ended up going forwards and backwards about 6 times because they couldn’t fix it properly every time the car came back to me there was a new fault I then I had to go through the finance company to claim a refund as the garage refused to take the car back luckily I put my complaint in before the 6 months was up they then had to get an inspector to come assess the damage and they were found liable I found the staff quiet rude at times and made to feel as I was a pest when you spend £10,000 on a car you don’t expect it to be broken the day it’s delivered after 6 months of fighting and back and forwards the car has finally gone back to which I got my deposit back and lost out on all the finance I paid so now no car and no money back which is ridiculous considering the car was broken for the full time I owned it I would not purchase from this company again and would advise anyone doing so to go test drive and view the car in person I was also told my car came from Wigan it didn’t it came from Essex and went back to Essex every time to be fixed which also racked the miles up Essex is about 4-5 hours from me

Be very careful buying from them very eager to sell a vehicle. When it arrives with faults not so eager to fix them over a year now to sort issues. Lots of emails sent not a single response. When I call I get promised a call back to sort the issue and again nothing.
The only way forward is going to be legal now so be warned people

I bought a Ford Transit Custom from Priory Approved Motors in Southend, and unfortunately the aftercare has been terrible. After numerous text messages and phone calls that have gone unanswered, I’m extremely frustrated with the lack of communication.

Soon after buying the van, I discovered an oil leak. To be fair, this was eventually fixed after about two weeks — but since then, the dealership has completely ignored my follow-up messages. I was promised receipts for previous work carried out on the vehicle, which I still haven’t received after 8 weeks. Matt also told me he’d applied to transfer the vehicle into my name, but when I contacted the DVLA, they confirmed they hadn’t received anything.

Overall, I feel completely let down. Once the sale was made, the communication stopped. I would strongly advise anyone thinking of buying from this dealership to be very cautious and to make sure everything is in writing before completing a purchase.

Everything was perfect with the Land Rover we purchased, went way beyond expectations to make it perfect process.
Ryan always kept us updated with excellent customer service and will recommend to family and friends and will definitely go back again.

Amazing service. I went out to get a bottle of Dr Pepper and found myself outside when Matt approached me showing me a car I assumed I wouldn’t be able to get or afford. After going over some numbers turns out I could! Not only that Matt managed to sort it so I got an even better deal the following day. Everyone is friendly and reachable. The whole experience was Quick and painless something Ill be honest I’ve never experienced before buying a car. Thanks guys and thanks Matt genuine credit to the company!

Ryan has been great from the very beginning right the way through to getting the car delivered.. Even still helping now with any questions i have around warranty etc. Gave me a lot of confidence in the car and any potentional future problems.

A fantastic experience at Priory Approved Motors.
I recently bought a second-hand pickup truck from them and I couldn't be happier with the whole experience. From the moment I spoke to them, the team was incredibly welcoming and helpful, but without any of the pressure you sometimes get at car dealerships.
The truck itself is in brilliant condition and was found just for me to meet my specifications. The pricing was fair, and they were very transparent about the vehicle's history, providing all the service records and a clear report. The paperwork was handled efficiently, and they even helped me with the tax and registration process, making everything so easy.
