I got the juki dnu 1541s for making leather bags and working with heavier materials. So far, I'm really happy with it. The machine feels really solid and handles multiple layers of leather way better than my old machine. It sews smoothly without constantly skipping stitches or struggling with thicker spots.
I also like how stable it feels when I'm working on bigger bags. The difference from a regular home machine is pretty noticeable. I spent a little time getting everything adjusted at first but once I had it set up the way I wanted, It's been running great.
Overall, I'm really happy with it for leather bags and heavier materials.
