A Dysfunctional and Unprofessional Work Environment
My experience with Pro Industries was, unfortunately, marked by a series of serious professional failures, most notably on the part of Phil vdB., the assigned coordinator. From the outset, communication was severely lacking. Phil consistently failed to answer calls or return messages in a timely manner—if at all. His lack of responsiveness created unnecessary confusion and frustration, and his repeated dishonesty further eroded any trust that could have been established.
To make matters worse, the rate I was verbally promised during recruitment was significantly higher than what was ultimately included in the contract. Faced with limited options and urgent circumstances, I reluctantly accepted the position, only to find that the working conditions were far from acceptable. The workplace suffered from poor hygiene standards, irregular and unpredictable working hours, and a complete absence of the training that had been assured during the onboarding process.
As conditions deteriorated and began to seriously impact my mental health, I made the difficult decision to resign. At that point, Phil once again made promises he had no intention of keeping—assuring me he would call on the 13th to discuss the situation. He did not. When I decided to visit the office in person to confront him directly, I found him at his desk, feigning ignorance and displaying a shocking lack of professionalism. It was clear that his lack of action was not due to being overworked, but rather due to simple negligence and poor management.
One of the most glaring issues was his failure to follow through on commitments. Phil explicitly promised to discuss my hourly rate with the HR department—an issue of fundamental importance—yet over the course of three weeks, absolutely no action was taken. This lack of initiative and accountability was both unprofessional and detrimental to the working relationship.
In summary, my time with Pro Industries was defined by broken promises, mismanagement, and a total disregard for the well-being of its employees. The lack of communication, transparency, and basic professionalism—particularly from Phil — makes it impossible for me to recommend this agency to anyone seeking reliable and ethical employment services.
